The weed hang over usually entailed Sheldon to sleep the rest of the day away, or linger on the couch and lazily watch the Discovery channel - or the Science channel, since it was new and he hadn't seen all its programming. He was used to it, it was how things normally went and usually he played by ear with what his body felt like doing.
These were unusual circumstances however and Sheldon was forced awake by the blazing sun overheard. Usually it didn't bother him when it peeked in through his blinds in the morning, but this time it was hard to miss was it loomed over head practically cooking him. "God..." he groaned, rolling to his side to try and get his eyes out of the intense light.
The ground was another matter, it was super hard and there were bits of gravel and probably random crap like trash, spare roofing parts and he didn't even want to think about it. But it was uncomfortable and he didn't want to spend his day sleeping on it.
He tried to roll over again, to get on his stomach - maybe he could push himself up or something - but he was suddenly blocked from proceeding. Cracking open an eye to see what was there, he noticed a mass of blonde hair and noticed it was attached to a person still. His eye lingered there, placing who it might be. - oh hey, he had been with Ellie most of the night, right?
... oh wait, Ellie. Ellie .... "Ellie..." he groaned again, and rolled the other way away.

Fortunately for the duo, all of their fun had been pretty clean the evening before. There were no signs of any sort of sexual goings on, which would benefit Sheldon greatly. Especially with a live-wire like Ellie.
Speaking of the tomboy, she somehow was still asleep, which was odd given the fact she usually woke up early. However, the weed from the night before must have messed with her system more than she'd ever know. So the sunlight hadn't bothered her in the slightest.
As her system seemed to start to get back to normal, her body began to feel a bit sore. It probably had something to do with the solid surface she had slept on all night. Yet the thing to actually wake her up was someone uttering her name.
Who the hell would be saying her name right now? In a groan of her own, she grumbled out "My back f*ckin' kills..." before curling up slightly to one side and using one arm to push herself upright into a sitting position. Her eyes still seemed to be in a partial daze as she looked around, trying to put 2 and 2 together. Right now she wasn't quite getting 4. Maybe 3 and a half.

Well at least she was alive, she probably would have killed him if somehow she managed to get herself killed during all of this. How she had gotten there was another thing that was rattling in his brain off and on, he could have sworn he lost her in an alley or something and there was some... person with wings or something that had gotten him on the roof but his brain didn't want to try to make sense right now. It wanted to stay in a mellow state of non-activity really.
"We should get off the roof..." He drawled in response, the first real non scattered thought he could muster to the girl. The sun was too much for him, even though he was a guy who preferred summer to winter; when it was shining a bit too happily at you it was a totally different matter. Somehow he managed to coax his body into a sitting position.

Sheldon had no idea what he had just unleashed with the simple fact he had offered.
"HOLY SH*T!!!" Her eyes had been half lidded, but they shot open wide the moment their location had been pointed out. She turned sharply to face the side, something in the back of her mind repeating quite quickly Please let us not be too high up, please let us not be too high up!
There were some taller buildings surrounding them, but only a scant number of them were taller. She could see the edges of some that were about the same height. There weren't any hint of lamp posts, which would have meant they were closer to the group.
Subconsciously, she began to mutter out "oh sh*t" repetitively, turning to press her head against her knees as she sat there. They weren't 1 story up, they were quite a few stories higher than just 1 story up.

Truthfully, yes Sheldon did feel a little satisfaction from finally seeing Ellie in a vulnerable position. This tough girl who rode motorcycles and punched and berated him on end finally had a weak spot. Heights? Really? He would have smiled but being weirded out by her position was trumping his amusement. Ellie Spectre, the girl who rode motorcycles, punched and berated him was afraid and clinging to herself.
"Dude, then why did you climb up here if you're afraid of heights?" It didn't take him long to realize she was muttering about the fact they were a few stories up. That old question of how she got up here in the first place came back again and then circled its way out as he hesitantly leaned towards her and placed a hand on her shoulder. And feared for his life.
"There's a maintenance door over there," he gestured with a nod of his head. Hopefully she could catch his drift of door meant stairs. Stairs meant off the roof.

Had Ellie Spectre been a wild animal, the moment Sheldon had placed his hand on her shoulder, it probably would have been bitten off. Instead, she slapped his hand off of her shoulder. "I don't even f*ckin' remember what the hell happened last night!" she snapped at him before she forced herself to stand up. She didn't seem concerned at all by this fact at the moment, since the major issue was the fact she was on a rooftop.
Her steps were initially a little wobbly as she could feel the pit of her stomach seeming to rise into her throat, which was not a very pleasant feeling. She made her way to the direction that her companion had pointed out, and when she got to the door, she uttered "Let's blow this f*ckin' popsicle stand!" With that she turned the knob and began to work on making her way down the stairs.

This was like Ellie Spectre on a normal day, ten times worse and Sheldon figured it was best to back off. His hand recoiled and was held defensively up at shoulder height. It wasn't all too surprising that she couldn't remember what had happened last night, it was apparently her first time using marijuana and some people just didn't know how to handle them.
Perhaps like a first time drunk... or even an anytime drunk. Sheldon couldn't say for sure, oddly as much as he had done in the past, alcohol was just not one of them.
Though, it wasn't like he remembered things as clear as day but with the years of use he had perhaps a better grasp on things; even if they were ever so hazy and he didn't know which parts were real or not. There was something about dragons?
But no time to dwell really. Sheldon pulled himself up as quickly as his lax body would allow him and he followed silently behind the blonde as she made her way to the door and down the stairs. He was silent even walking down them, the only sound being the clicking of their shoes against cool concrete.

Ellie's steps were heavy and continued to be heavy until there were no more steps to walk down. The journey down the stairs had been silent, save for all of that clunking of feet.
Stretching her arms out above her, she couldn't help but ask "Soooooo... food... ya wanna get some?" She definitely was feeling hunger again now that she was no longer high above the city at a height where she could potentially fall to her doom.

Ellie's question of food certainly gained his attention, and while his pockets were filled with his hands - having shoved them in in the somber and lazy mood he was in while the made their trip down - he eyed her with tired yellow eyes.
"Always can go for food," he replied. Especially the day after. A solid meal was always more welcome than munching all day, which was what he usually did.

Since he had agreed to it, the girl began to lead the way. At first, she didn't say where they were going, for she was simply trying to regain her bearings silently. Yet, when she eventually recognized their current location, she stated "King Taco's 'round 'ere.... that sounds like it'll hit th'spot!"
No, she didn't remember what had happened the evening before.
No, she didn't remember that the pair had eaten at King Taco the evening before.
Or the fact she had acted like a complete jackass.
Or the fact she was probably now banned for life.
Ignorance would only remain bliss for so long as they continued to walk along. The eventual question would arise from the blonde. "...so... do ya remember anythin' from last night?"

Was King Taco even open right now? Well, maybe that was a silly question, it was probably always open. Sheldon hummed for a moment, finding himself agreeing to the choice location. He honestly couldn't tell if the faint salsa after taste he had on his tongue was from craving Mexican food or if it was trying to tell him something.
"Sure," he replied, flatly. Though, we probably would have been dragged there even if he said no and pushed his lips together in thought over her next question.
"Bits and pieces, 'ts how it normally goes," the green haired boy shrugged, "I try not to think about it since I'm never sure if I could have imagined it or not. Though, I could have sworn you ditched me last night." It was the most prominent hazy memory, given it was the last one he had before passing out on the roof - had he been flying? odd thought - and why did something about a dragon keep surfacing?

Hoisting her arms up so she could place her hands behind her head as she walked, she took in a deep breath. Hobbes' explanation as to how the lack of memory thing was normal did not seem to ease her mind at all. "If I ditched ya, why th'hell would I still be 'round ya when ya woke up then?"
It was a logical question which probably had a logical answer. Though, if she realized she had transformed in front of Sheldon, she might have been a bit more careful with how she phrased everything.
Maybe.
There was perhaps a moment or two of silence as the pair walked, their steps seeming to be the only thing making noise. Yet eventually that silence was broken by the tomboy.
"Either way... I ain't doin' that again... not my thing... didn't like th'lack of control..."

Sheldon still had his hands in his pockets as he followed Ellie, or at least kept pace with her as they were still walking side by side. His eyes were fixated on the ground below him, lazily watching where he was going. "I have no idea," he honestly replied with a small shrug. "Especially if you don't like heights and stuff, unless that person with wings brought you up too." That seemed like the most obvious explanation even if it was ridiculous.
Ellie did mention a lack of control, which could have landed her on the roof.
And even that gained another shrug. Sheldon didn't voice much of an opinion on that, "to each their own," was simple enough. At least she wouldn't start lecturing him about how terrible it was and why he shouldn't smoke anymore.
Well, he could hope.

His commentary about her dislike of heights easily earned him a punch in the arm. "Ya don't go 'round sayin' that, got it?!" Unfortunately, he had witnessed her when she was vulnerable. Ellie had a reputation, and if word of this really god out, she'd have to pummel the green-haired mess of a boy next to her into a pile of mush. She was pretty sure that Sheldon wouldn't want that.
Soon enough, their destination had come into view. King Taco, in all of its taco glory! Sometimes she wished the giant taco looming over the building was made of all the ingredients of a real taco. Alas, it was not meant to be. "Hope they have a non-breakfasty menu right now..."

"Who the hell am I going to even tell?" Sheldon's voice teetered on that of a whine as he finally pulled a hand out of his pocket to rub at his now sore arm. God, it's like she aimed for the same area each time, even though he knew it was physically impossible he still feared she'd manage to whittle it down for it to finally just fall off.
Even in his sad pouty state, he continued to stay in step with the blonde, rubbing at his arm and watching at the noticeable logo of the food joint came closer. "I don't really know, I've never been here this early," or even up this early if he didn't have to.
