So I totally forgot that I can advertise here too. I'm holding an art contest, with 500k in prizes.
The contest has two categories, A and B.
Category A is just my avi, in any of her three common guises.
Category B is my avi with any of my favorite anime/manga characters. Several of them Fruits Basket characters!!!
I'm not judging based on ability or friendship, so draw away. I'm the Paula Abdul of art critics, so don't worry, pretty much as long as you enter you'll probably win something. I'm giving away about 70k in honorary mentions, provided there are enough entries for that. You can enter each category up to twice, so a total of four possible entries. The end date for this contest is September 23, with the winners announced on the 24th unless the date gets extended. I will extend the date only if there are not enough entries, or if someone asks for an extention cause I'm really nice. If you don't want to enter, come and chat, I'm going to be online a lot.

Except for peach dango, where they put the peach flavoring on the outside, and so every time you bit you get peachy nastiness. I really don't like peach, and that seems to be the only kind that the restaurants have around here... But I have this great asian marketplace that has other kinda of dango and mochi that I can buy. smile It just takes a lot of gas to get there.... I might just have to go though. (Boxes of pocky for like $0.65!!!)

Common dango is a ball of rice flour dough and sweetened with flavorings. My favorite is just like mochi, a ball of rice flour dough that is filled with bean paste, and sweetened with flavorings. It's pretty good. But the texture is a little aquired. You kinda have to like it in order to stomache it. My sister hates the techture. She says it's too mushy.

I think I could eat curry all day everyday. And also Kung Pao chicken. And dango... So I shall ask the most random and repetive question of all: O_o Favorite Color?
