Inali felt more herself after her encounter with Necropolis. She was calm and collected, but still alert enough to not fall into a trap. Ah yes. It felt /good/, finally. She even felt younger, inclined to kick up her heels and canter about the plains like a filly. She may have had two children, but that didn't mean she couldn't have fun. Inali was still young enough, and had plenty of her life stretching before her. Why not enjoy it?

She had spent a long time in the forest too. The forest was a place for the shy, reclusive Inali who was afraid of everything, and had almost been taken in by a cruel stallion. It was only looking back that she found his behavior strange. Inali would not be fooled again. Not now, not ever.

Dark thoughts were for the past. With another short, Inali reared up and plunged out into the sun and the light, feeling it against her bright red hide. She stood out here even more than she had in the forest, like a bright beacon, streaking across the landscape, or a wildfire. For several long minutes, she looked and felt like she was just a filly again, barely into her adult growth.
