Introducing Enok, Yoondam, Noa, Junwon, and Haru, the next five individuals who are posed to join the ranks of the boy groups. The group is called Boyz and they are represented by the company VIP Entertainment. The five member group was originally pegged to be named VIP, but the name was changed to avoid any confusion with the name of Big Bang's fanclub, V.I.P. The group's name may be simple, but it could allow for many different fan club names. Sporting dark colored hair, eyeliner, and a mix of gray, black, and blue, the five boys seem to have their own distinctive presence. As they will be joining the on-going wave of new groups debuting, hopefully their music will be refreshing as their youthful faces to catch the attention of netizens. No further information has been released regarding the names of songs or a date of when they will debut, but if the information is being revealed now, they must be leading up to it. Fans of boy bands, watch out for this group, and stay tuned until i tell any notice about them razz What are your first impressions?

for big bang lovers:On August 29th, the Seoul Prosecutor’s office dismissed charges against Big Bang’s Daesung over the death of a motorcyclist that was involved in a car accident in late May.
The prosecutor’s office said no sufficient evidence was found to prove the victim was alive at the time of Daesung’s contact with him, and it’s hard to completely rule out the possibility of the motorcyclist being killed from his earlier crash into the streetlamp.
The motorcyclist was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.186% prior to hitting the streetlamp which resulted in severe damages to his face, neck, and back. However, there have been many speculations as to whether Daesung caused the victim’s death as he ran over the motorcyclist who was lying on the street just three minutes after the initial crash.
The Yung Deung Po police office conducted more investigation over the victim’s autopsy results, and held additional questioning sessions with Daesung, while analyzing more black box videos before reaching today’s verdict.
Also, at the citizen jury trial held on August 25th, all nine members of the committee agreed to exempt Daesung from indictment.
“Based on the evidence we have, it is true that Daesung hit the victim due to negligent driving. But it’s hard to identify the direct connection between Daesung’s negligent driving and the victim’s death, and in that case, the benefit of doubt should be given. So we decided to drop any charges against Daesung,” an official from the prosecutor’s office said.
Daesung was involved in a car accident on May 31st around 1:30AM. He hit a motorcyclist that was lying on the street from an earlier accident and later crashed into a taxi in front of him. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.

BEAST’s agency Cube Entertainment has filed a lawsuit in order to get rid of the “harmful media” status for BEAST’s songs. Recently SM had a similar lawsuit and in court, it was decided that having the word “alcohol” in the lyrics of a song does not make that song “harmful media.” Cube Entertainment is following suite in order to get rid of that status for BEAST’s first album.
Cube Entertainment stated on August 29th, “We will file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family, in order to cancel the status of ‘harmful media’ for BEAST’s first album.”
Cube Entertainment states that there is only one song on BEAST’s first album titled “On a Rainy Day” that contains lyrics about drinking

Super Junior's "Mr. Simple" continues to increase their lead on our chart and has repeated as No. 1. While last week was a close call, this week they are a clear cut No. 1. "Mr. Simple" is the title song of their fifth album of the same name. This song and album has received even better responses than anticipated. Perhaps it has something to do with the groups' uncertain near future as more members are going to be enlisted in army: Heechul just announced he will join the army next Thursday (September 1) and Leeteuk is expected to join him soon. Fans are cherishing every bit of Super Juniors' songs and performances now.
Sistar's "So Cool" leapfrogged many songs and lands on the No. 2 spot in just its second week on the chart. This song should have the best chance to become the next No. 1 song. Girl power has continuously been strong this year as groups seem to take turns, generatinghit songs. It's Sistar's turn now and they may have their first ever chart topping hit.
2NE1's "Ugly" remained steady at No. 3. Again this song is hurt by the group's lack of performances compared to other artists in the top 10. Last week, their only appearance was on SBS Inkigayo while normally but most chart topping artists appear on all four music shows. While the quality of the song and fans' perception is not affected by how frequent an artist goes on promoting the song, its disadvantage is apparant on a ranking system like us that involves singers' media exposures.
There are two new songs in the top 10. Rookie girl group DalShabet already has three mini-albums under their belt and they are poised to make a run at the top new artist of 2011. Their latest hit "Bling Bling" helped their cause as it jumps 16 spots to No. 6 this week. It is a trendy number with a bright and cool feel. Fans who listen to this dance number will find themselves shaking their body to the beat. This is DalShabet's first ever top 10 hit.
At No. 8 is Superstar K Season 1 winner Seo In Kook's latest single "Shake It Up". While Seo In Kook is known for his R&B ballads, he is releasing an upbeat song this time to match the season,. "Shake It Up" is a dance number reminiscent of the music style popular in the 90’s and 2000.

On August 30th, behind-the-scenes footage of f(x) on the set of their "Cosmopolitan" photoshoot were released through a 'making-of' video!
The ladies can be seen taking on a variety of fun and cute concepts like Luna's bright orange hair and Amber's slicked back hair. The styles are a bit out there, but definitely nothing the members of f(x) can't handle, as they've been known for their fashion forward styles since their debut. As the oldest of the group, Victoria takes on a slightly more elegant style while Krystal goes for a sexy punk rock look, and Sulli charms with her youthful smile.
"They're musicians that match the concept of the photoshoot so very well. There was not a single cut worth throwing away," praised a designer on set with the girls.
Netizens commented, "f(x) is amazing at whatever they do," "Krystal has such an aura," and "The members look like they're having a lot of fun."

The sweet songstress behind the melodic yet eccentric song "Half" will be making her way to Japan for a new CF deal with "Lotte!"
It's been just a year since Kim Yeo Hee first began making headlines all across portals like CNN and The Sun with her YouTube covers of popular hits using nothing but iPhone applications. Her performance skills earned her the title of 'Appe Girl' or 'iPhone Girl'. She's since gone on to release several songs under her belt, but this will be the first time she's actually traveling overseas in prospects of an advancement.
She's been receiving endless love calls from companies overseas who were captivated by her YouTube videos, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that she's receiving love calls from Japan just a year into her debut. Kim Yeo Hee will be modeling gum for Lotte.
"I'll be leaving for Japan to film my advertisement today. I've received many international love calls since my debut, I still feel a bit in a daze with it all," she commented.
We'll be hearing more of her soon, as she's set to begin promoting her single, "Half," on music programs next month.

On August 30th, during the production press conference of SBS’ new mini-series “The Musical” held at the Seoul Hakdong Convention Heritz, Goo Hye Sun revealed, “Before we recorded the songs, we had to film live singing. In order to reduce the nervousness before the filming, I would always drink a shot of raspberry wine (or “bokbunja-ju”, a Korean wine known for its health benefits).”
Marking her 2-year comeback to the small screen, Goo Hye Sun takes on the role of Goo Eun Bi, a medical student who dreams of becoming a musical actress. Her casting attracted much interest because Goo Hye Sun herself debuted as a singer and had released albums before. With regard to this, she said, “The songs in 'The Musical' were directly sung by me. I took lessons to ensure that no bad habits surface during my singing (in the drama).” However, she revealed that her stage phobia was a major problem – “Usually, my hands tremble even if I just had to ascend two steps - this is how severe my stage phobia is. After getting approval from director Kim Kyung Yong, I was allowed to drink one to two shots of raspberry wine every time before filming.”
“The Musical” is a drama that aims to portray the fiery, passionate love on and off the musical stage. Besides Goo Hye Sun, other leads include Daniel Choi as top musical composer Jay Hong, Park Ki Woong as Yoo Jin, a cold-blooded investor who only cares about money, and Ock Joo Hyun as musical actress Bae Kang Hee, known also as the "queen of musicals."

On August 30th's episode of "Strong Heart," Super Junior's Kyuhyun confessed that Super Junior members were not friendly when he first joined the group. Kyuhyun said, "I had only trained for three months before I joined the group. The group was already big, so I thought they would not welcome me." Kyuhyun continued that when he first went to their dorm, they told him to sleep anywhere. So carrying only a luggage bag, he moved floor to floor to sleep next to Sungmin's bed for a month, next to Donghae's a month, and so on for a total of nine months.
Kyuhyun also revealed how he made Leeteuk furious with ramen. "I had to cook ramen for 13 people. It was my first time cooking for so many people. And I put too much water, making the ramen tasteless." After tasting the ramen, Leeteuk angrily threw his chopsticks and wanted to know who cooked it."
After the episode aired, Korean netizens commented, "It was hilarious to see Leeteuk so embarrassed when Kyuhyun confessed!" and "It was nice to see the behind stories of Super Junior members who are now so caring and friendly to each other."
