Have you ever had that feeling that you were being watched,fallowed,even tempted by something you can't see? Like an unseen power was trying its hardest to make you do something you otherwise would never dream of doing? What if that power had a name and face? If it had a voice only you could hear....Well in this land one magic user need not wonder,for she has something far worse then inner demons trying to coax and tempt her. She has a real one acting as her shadow,one that is trying to lure her closer and closer to evil in order to gain control of her soul,this is her story....

Name: Jaspar. Age: Ageless and can change his apparent age at will. Bio: Jaspar had always been one of the more weaker of demons but even a weak demon is just as strong and useful as the stronest human. Though he was weak that didn't stop him from doing his job of collecting souls. Being weaker he couldn't just go and take them so instead he learned how to tempt soul with their most wanted desires and dreams like demons of old. When one of the most treasured souls,that of a magic user came to his attention he went at his old tricks again.... Likes and dislikes: Likes birds,girls,tricks,his job and just relaxing. Name: Saeko Busujima.Age: 18.Bio: Saeko had grown up learning the way of the sword, being known as incredibly skilled and possessing flawless skill...to the point of being superhuman. When her parents were killed by a rival samurai, however, she easily disposed of him...only to find out that she had gained quite a knack for killing. Eventually, she came across an opponent she could not beat. One who seemed completely invincible...and the samurai whom she had lost to actually spared her life...on a condition that should never be described. After that event, she felt hatred build up within her...and is now seeking a way to make herself stronger so that she would kill the man that made that unforgiveable condition with her.Likes and dislikes: She has quite a sadistic side...meaning she likes killing.Appearance:  Other: Character Theme

Saeko had been wandering around for quite some time...trying to seek out a way that would grant her more power than she already possessed. When she had fought against the samurai from her past, she used magic against him in that fight as well... However, something seemed to be guarding him completely...and he was practically untouchable. Saeko figured she would have to acquire a stronger power...and at the moment, there was only one option she could turn to that had otherworldly powers beyond comprehension...and that would be from the Demons. Immediately, she started to light up some candles...placing them around her in the form of a circle. Eventually, she moved her palm across her sword, wincing slightly as she did so. Seeing the blood drip from her hand, she started to chant an ancient language in order to bring out the Demons while she completed the Demonic Circle with the blood from her palm.

~Jaspar~ In one of the deepest reaches of the demon plane Jaspar was chuckling to himself as he toyed with one of his newly captured souls as he casually batted it between his hands. "Ah yes look at you now! You were so high and mighty and so uptight and now a mere plaything." He muses to himself as he picks up the soul and stuffs it into a jar to play with later. "Granted you becoming a greedy and sinful being was my doing but you should have known better to trust such whispers in your mind...hmm?" Suddenly he notices a bright light right above his head which he knew was clearly a summoning portal. "Ah crud..." He mumbles before he was suddenly sucked up into the circle and landed with a loud and humiliating "THUD" on Saeko's floor just inches outside the circle of candles. "Yep....that sucked...." Jasper grumbled as he reached up to rub the back of his head. He didn't look anything like a demon would if anything he looked like a regular human only child-like at the moment since he usually used his small appearance to take summoners off guard.

Within a few moments, she stopped chanting at the exact timing of when Jaspar appeared and landed on the floor just outside of the circle of candles. With a raised eyebrow, she watched as he got up and after a few moments of silence due to the fact that she was thinking of whether or not the summoning spell had actually worked, she asked, "...Are you a Demon?" The being in front of her definitely did not have the appearance of a Demon in any manner whatsoever...

~Jaspar~ Jaspar rubbed the back of his head again and groaned as he straightened out his back. "No I'm Santa Claus here to bring you a red toy train for being such a good girl. Of course I'm a demon!" Jaspar grumbles in an understandably angry tone since he was just yanked out of his own plane of existence and forced into the human one which is much MUCH more painful then it sounds. Jaspar took a deep breath and rubbed his temples slowly as he closed his eyes.
"Ok...ok I'm sorry,Its just getting yanked here is a unexpected and very painful deal for me." He opens his eyes again and regains his composure,putting on a cheery face with a small smiles which in his child form is nearly irresistible. "Now what exactly do you need from me miss summoner?" Jasper asks as he takes small glances at her lovely form when she wasn't looking betraying his child like form.

With narrowed eyes at his first statement when he had gotten up and straightened out his back, she waited for him to say something else before she would let her temper get a hold of her. She then heard his next statement and said in a neutral tone, "...Apology accepted." When he questioned her as to what she wanted, she replied in quite a serious manner, "...I want to gain the power to be able to annihilate the last remaining bit of my past...and I need as much as I can possibly receive."

~Jaspar~ Jaspar gave her a blank stare for a moment before closing his eyes and putting a hand under his chin to think. "If she needed a power boost why hasn't she tried to take my essence yet....? Unless." He opened one eye and smirked slightly. "So this is her first summoning. Either that or she has no idea that she could do this all without a pact to damn her soul..." "I see...So you want to make a deal with me for power...? You do realize that like any contract I get to choose my terms and like in all the stories it will damn your soul." Jaspar asks as he takes a short walk around the summoning circle of candles,unable to even reach into it without a painful shock,he may have been a demon but when making a pact it was approached like most binding contracts were and he had to give clear terms to the contract for her to agree too.

Saeko waited for the Demon to say something and noticed that he seemed to be thinking about her request. As he walked around the circle, he spoke about the 'contract' deal for power. Within a few moments, she stated rather non hesitantly, "I know...and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to gain this power..." Within a few moments, her gaze focused to the floor in front of her and her hands seemed to tighten into a fist as they were resting on her legs while she was still sitting in a traditional Japanese position...and as her hands tightened into a fist, she muttered with fury in her eyes, "...I need it..."

~Jaspar~ Jaspar chuckled and walked to the front of her and leaned in close to the circle with a smile. "My you are a fierce one aren't you? I kid i kid....all I want your soul after you die...of course you should have known that." He stops leaning in and clears his throat. "Of course this entire process will be very painful...I'll give you the customary last chance to reconsider and ask for the cutting instrument you used to summon me....that is if you choose to go through with it." Jaspar reaches out to just outside the circle of candles and smiles as he waits for her to ive him what he needs to make the deal.

Saeko remained silent for a few moments before saying, "...I want this... I don't care how much it will hurt." She eventually handed the sword to the Demon in a traditional manner...bowing her head formally as she did so. It was customary to hand over a sword in this way for Japanese individuals. As such, she followed the tradition completely and handed the sword to the Demon in that same traditional way.

~Jaspar~ Jaspar smiled devilishly as he reached out and took the sword and inspected it slowly. "Ah,very nice..." He says out loud mostly to too himself as he placed his right hand on the blade and quickly swiped it across. Immediately after he did that it felt as if thousands of needles had just pierced every inch of Saeko's body and like every fiber of her being was trying to separate it's self from her.
If she was able to watch her shadow she could see it slowly start to flicker and after a few seconds completely disappear at the same time the image of Jaspar distorted before returning back to normal and just as suddenly as it started everything was back to normal and all at once the candles went out.

Saeko watched as Jaspar took the sword...and then when he swiped his hand across, she suddenly felt an enormous amount of pain coursing throughout her entire body, which caused her to scream out in agony. This was definitely the most painful thing she had ever had to endure physically... But as the pain faded away, she breathed in and out heavily before looking around and noticing that everything seemed back to normal. Jaspar was no longer distorted and her shadow was no longer flickering... Looking to the demon, she questioned in a slightly shaky voice from the pain she had experienced just moments ago, "...What was that?..."

~Jaspar~ Jaspar smirked and placed the sword in front of her on the ground. "That was the feeling of having your shadow ripped to shreds and having it replaced by none other then me...." He explained as he walked to a very dark corner of the room,even so not a shadow seemed to appear on him. "Not only that but only you can hear or see me now...But the pay off is that you have more magic then you can imagine." "Not that she know's how to use it i bet..."
