Zipping up his pants Bul flushed the urinal and left the monster community bathroom kicking off a couple roaches that were hanging around at his feet. Typically he'd pluck the little guys up and eat them but they WERE crawling around on the bathroom floor, he wasn't that disgusting. The boil wasn't sure exactly where he was going but it wasn't his dorm room. Summer's last glimmer was already at the horizon and there was nothing to look forwards to past the classes and the inevitable field trip he'd signed his soul away to.

Of course he had less doubt in his mind now knowing he at least had experience with the island. Sure it was a horrible experience that only guaranteed he was susceptible to a gruesome, painful death, but he learned to expect the unexpected and be on his guard especially outside of Halloween.

Failing Savage's exam threw another emotional twist to his expectations. If he couldn't survive a teacher's monitored test how in the name of Jack's tailcoat did he make it on the island? Was it because he was interacting with his FEAR or lack thereof? Mei had failed it too but shouldn't they have both aced with flying colors? Bul wrangled these thoughts in his mind as he paced the hall. Dr. Hyde had been absolutely no help in soothing his concerns the first trip to his office. A second one would prove no better.

Passing several unvisited rooms in the corridor he was in, Bul smacked his tail two and fro into the walls. It was a good passage for snotball really. He pulled out a goopy wad from his pocket and noticed that it'd been getting a little warm in color. "That's funny I'm pretty sure it should've stayed green with that algae." He juggled it for a moment and frowned disappointingly. At least it wasn't glowing.

Bul's bouts with glowing were of the very unpleasant sort. Taking Cricket's class only confirmed his frailty further. All the working out and snotballing in the world could not prepare the boil for the dangers of being destroyed by not only mysterious shadows with weapons but also the school itself.

Aisa, as usual, was only half-dressed in the tatters she liked to label clothing. Although, that was probably how most of the citizens of Halloween town categorized their attire. Her skulls hung lower on her waist than usual, her black stilettos stained in crimson echoed through the hall sharply. A pale hand dipped under her black locks of hair to press against the base of her neck, turning her head to the left in a vague form of stretching. The school and it's peace -- a relative term, considering the classes and their occupants-- was stifling for the heir to Death.

Aisa feared that she wasn't getting enough exercise .. Especially if the horsemen were rusty enough to lose against a mere set of armor. Which still bothered her, although she was loathe to admit the fact. The memory itself left a bitter taste in Aisa's mouth .. quite literally, at the time, with the taste of blood. As a result, she hadn't been able to stay in the washroom for long without some sort of creeping thought. The haze of insanity should have quickly cleared her head .. but it seemed that the incident was much too fresh.

She was about to pass a boil. Boils didn't interest Aisa, especially if they were several decades younger or so. But her normal apathy seemed to pull away when a flicker of recognition flashed through the haze of her mind. There was only one reason to remember this boil more than the rest-- he was the one that had been eaten. By Cricket.

Getting eaten was of the utmost importance, indeed, at the moment. Aisa had a most pressing question that simply couldn't wait. It had to be asked during the moment, lest the horsemen forget her thoughts. An abrupt halting of her steps and a mildly curious tone, a sultry tone matching her appearance, directed towards the only occupant of the hall.

"Did you taste good?"

Naturally Bul picked up on the sound of loud clicking down the hall, a sound usually accompanied by a professor that could easily be a woman he didn't quite like. It was not a teacher however, nor a succubus or hooved creature. Instead it was the teacher's assistant in CRICKET'S class.

"Oh Jack no..." he uttered quietly to himself, letting her pass him but it was too late.

Did you taste good?

Bul practically winced at the horsewoman's question, unable to avoid the memory connection to the classroom and the embarrassment that had followed. It wasn't just embarrassing either, he got his s**t rocked in front of an ALUMNI in a sex ed class, which in all seriousness he had held great interest in up until his episode. Having tried to be a good student and ask reasonable, mature questions he felt ashamed that he had still been the subject of ridicule before his friends and peers. NOW he was talking to the alumni. She just HAD to ask about it didn't she? There was no sense in ignoring her or not answering her, especially since she held seniority over him in many ways.

"I probably tasted like chips, I suppose?" he lowered his head momentarily before biting his lip with pointed teeth. "Probably should've asked her but uh.. I'd rather not talk about it. Did you know I was still glowing through prom? That's just... not right."

Out of respect he turned to face her rather than talk with his nose to the ground. The facade of shyness was simply not Bul. He usually stood his ground, over confident by his own height.

Aisa took little notice of Bul's discomfort and reluctance, hands entwining in fascination. it didn't matter that the student's words were of little eloquence or detail-- the topic could keep Aisa's attention alone. "You were glowing throughout prom? That's perfect." Aisa nodded, her eyes traveling and surveying the student in front of her with a gaze of .. approval?

What was perfect about glowing again?

But the incident had sparked a one-sided admiration for the student. Perhaps, not the most flattering of incidents. But one had to question, would a flattering incident have landed a student on Aisa's range of notice? She stared at Bul intently, her shoulders hunched as she stared. And stared. And stared a little more.

Was she wondering how he tasted?!

There was a long pause of silence between the two before Bul's lips curved unhappily, a single sharp tooth hanging out before he spoke again. "I don't know how I would call it perfect. Perhaps cool to a small degree but it got old real fast when it kept me up at night," the half beast recalled the restless nights when he'd attract bugs into his own bed. Eating all of them for a midnight snack wasn't the most practical way to eliminate them.

"I mean, unless you like sleeping with bedbugs then it could be erm. 'Perfect'." Bul leaned back against the hallway wall and rested his hands behind his head. He figured he may as well stay and chat to his superior. "So wait how come I haven't seen you around the school any if you've been a teacher assistant for Cricket?" he asked, only assuming she was her TA.

Having attempted to deter the subject Bul expected to avoid perhaps being inhaled once more. Only if Aisa ate him there would likely be nobody around to save him. It was like Savior all over again!

"Sleep. The time where predator and prey engage themselves in a mad battle to the death. He who strikes first wins." In reference to the island, there had been multiple strikes. But never had any of them won-- those sleepless nights on the island. Aisa had far more problems to worry about then glowing in the night. Countless blows had led both sides into a futile desperation .. until the meaning of patience had become carved within their very being. Waiting. Always waiting.

Insanity and waiting had never been a pleasant combination.

"Teaching assistent..?" Aisa seemed to be momentarily confused by his words, her expression lowering towards the ground. It took a few blank moments to piece the words together, especially with the mention of 'Cricket.' The moment where she pieced it together was signified by the brief clearing of her eyes, the haze momentarily dissipating.

"Oh." She mouthed it several times, tipping her head questioningly. "Teaching assistant. Was that what I was? I was merely .. acquainting myself. Hellma did tell us to do so after all." Her hand lowered to finger the outline of her skull delicately, idly, as she mulled over her answer. She had no reason to answer, yet no reason to withhold her answer. As long as there was no reason of restraint, it was a free-for-all with Aisa. Although, one might not find this freely spoken quality within all of the other horsemen.

"We do as we like." She stated, simply, with a wave of her hand. Presumably, if they weren't walking around, they didn't want to be around.

"Although .. The co-ed washroom is a lovely place. To think, such a place located in this school ..Perhaps you will be seeing us more often." Aisa suggested, leaning closely to the male, staring at his red spikes and tattoo-like markings. Staring.

Aisa's words of wisdom were not only unexpected but definitely very creepy. Bul only imagined the bugs deciding to be aggressive and eating away at him little by little... it was enough to give him goosebumps."Thanks, now I'm going to have to kill and eat every bug I see in my room.." Not that he didn't already, if they weren't bothering him he just let them be.

"So then you're alumni or... a guest.. or..?" he asked without hesitation. Any knowledge of the four horsemen was purely political and brutish half beasts with little on their mind but sports and ghouls had no knowledge of politics. "And what do you mean, 'we'?" he asked raising a brow curiously.

His tail was not wrapped or still instead it waved with great interest behind him on the wall. When she began to speak of the co-ed washroom though she'd lost him. Are we even talking about the same thing anymore...? he thought, though not brave enough to ask aloud. Instead he settled for a neutral smile.

"I mean, whatever you are, it was pretty ******** intense when you exploded that pumpkin. Would I seriously have looked like that if Cricket had me for much longer? It didn't feel like getting uhm.. eaten. In Red's class we got munched up but skitter sharks but Cricket's insides, I'm assuming, were different." Well he'd touched back on that subject again. Seeing at Aisa was not there to taunt him he felt safer opening up. Slowly of course.

"Cricket's stomach .. an abysmal place. Skittering around .. You might have turned into a cricket." Aisa answered distractedly, although one couldn't tell if her words was serious or a pun, considering her expression always seemed rather deadpan. Aisa took a few steps to Bul's side, glancing at the swaying motion of his tail. Almost mesmerizing.. like an hourglass if not for the uneducated and untimely movements of somethinf distinctly alive.

"Heir to the horsemen clan, Death. Graduated .. Didn't take so long to graduate. Took a long time to get off though." Bul's question had registered late within Aisa's scrambled mind, her body lowering to brush a finger against Bul's tail. She might have inappropriately pulled on it as well-- A slight tug, as you might phrase it.

"Does Cricket eat students often? Or was it just you?"

Aisa was thinking, she had missed the show one too many times.

"Delightful..." Bul muttered under his breath. Becoming a Cricket's cricket to be unsuspectingly stepped on, eaten or maimed was a great and heartwarming thought. Not really. All it did was cause him to shudder guiltily over the one bug he'd happened to eat.

A graduate?! With some subtlety Bul straightened his posture. "How so? I mean.. I know I'm struggling now even but that's cause this place feels like it ain't teaching me much." Though he would accept any accusations that he had much to learn he still felt that there was something significantly unfulfilled about his education.

"I'm pretty sure it was just me anyway..." Bul snorted. "Judging by the faces around the room and all.."

"Amityville academy doesn't teach." Aisa stated, her fingers tracing the wall now. it was always something or another that grasped the heir's attention, as if sparks of insanity was to be found here and there.. and she simply just had to investigate.

"They don't teach." She repeated, with a firmer emphasis this time, her hand returning to the base of her neck, a finger tugging the spider webbed collar loosely, as if it had suddenly grown too tight. She looked directly at Bul, her eyes focused on him attentively. "They give you chances. Chances to discover yourself .. The question is, do you run from yourself?" She pointed at Bul, laying a finger on his chest.

Normally, that might of had a rather inappropriate connotation. But Aisa had no such implication when referring to this boil and that rang painfully clear throughout the air. Besides, Aisa had no taste for boils. Not the young, immature and ungraduated kind."Classes like Cricket's .. They're necessary for your fundamentals. They teach you bits and pieces .. They refine and sharpen. That's all they do."

"Rocks. Rats." The boil in front of her had something like a rat tail. She vaguely realized.. who was this boil?

"Is your name 'Cricket's meal?' "

Something about the way that Aisa addressed his concern made the half beast feel guilty. Though he reminded himself that he had taken opportunities before at the school; scarentines where he met Mei, the island, the questionable gym classes. What bothered him was that his intentions for life after Amityville were fairly humble and that he was approaching the school at the wrong angle at this point.

His thoughts were interrupted when the ghoul placed a finger on him. It was enough to stir a slight reaction but the most she may have gotten out of it was a gulp. "Well I did attend Cricket's class even without any forewarning of conduct-" he began but he had lost his train of thought after a brief silence.

"Oh... OH. Uhm no, fortunately that's not my name. Although I'm sure nobody that knows me would immediately relate to that," he scratched behind his head.

"My name's Bul, I'm a knob."
