In an otherwise empty construction site, two homeless people huddled around a small fire for light and comfort. They chatted quietly, oblivious to the shadow creeping through the dark of the partially built building. They kept talking and talking, stopping only when they saw an oddly dressed woman emerge from the shadows. The meant to ask who she was, how she was doing, and where she’d gotten her clothes, but changed their minds when she darted forward aggressively. One didn’t get a chance to say anything, having been quickly and soundly thumped on the head, but the second homeless man had just enough time to protest his companion’s treatment before hands were around his throat.
“ Be silent.” Hissed Captain Mica, draining the man’s energy, releasing her stranglehold only when he went limp.
Mica made her way to the other man, dropping beside him to drain his energy as well. The homeless made for easy targets, but she didn’t normally target them because they rarely had anything of value on them. When she was done here, she planned to go visit some of the popular make-out spots nearby, see if she could catch some rich brats.

Sailor Iris enjoyed patrolling in places that most senshi didn't visit. Practically every senshi patrolled the main streets in the city, but what about those places that weren't so nice to look at? One such place was usually around where Hank worked. The junk yard really wasn't a pretty place to work, but plenty of youma had been found there before, and she suspected they wouldn't stop showing up there. Close to the junk yard was the site for a new building to go up some time next year.
Since it was so close by, it didn't hurt to check the area, right?
As she drew closer, the yellow-suited senshi was able to sense the energy of the Negaverse coming from the construction sight. It was stronger than a Lieutenant, which meant this could be a fun challenge.
As she rounded the corner, she just caught sight of a woman with a hood dropping down in a slight crouch. Nearby was the fallen body of a scraggly man.
"Ya pick some really classy places t'show up!" she called out at the woman, not actually knowing who it was under the hood. It didn't matter to her who was under the hood. Not yet at least. "Why don't ya leave'em alone and fight me?!" She signaled for the unknown opponent to come at her.

Mica had felt the strong energy signature approaching, but had hoped to be done before whomever it belonged to appeared; no such luck. A vaguely familiar voice spoke from behind her and the hooded Captain repressed the urge to sigh. She didn’t particularly want to fight a Senshi tonight, much less a Feather Butt – she had a suspicion as to who it was behind her – but she wasn’t about to just run away.
“ Gladly.”
She stood and turned, the bright uniform confirming her suspicions: Iris, the Senshi of Rainbows. She had survived her last encounter with this Feather Butt - no thanks to that wimpy boy-Senshi - but she didn’t want to be caught off-guard. A flick of the wrist and Mica’s spear appeared in her hand, held carefully in front of her as she waited and tried to goad the Senshi into making the first move.
“ Your challenge, your move.”

The moment the senshi saw the spear summoned to this Captain's hand, Iris knew that this would be a challenge. It meant that she had a distance advantage, so good old fashioned fist fighting by itself would mean she'd get stabbed before she even got to a place where she could get in a good punch. It wasn't really thought for the eternal senshi, but more of an instinct she relied on when fighting.
Fortunately for her, there were ways around it.
Bringing her arm to her side and tightening up a fist, the senshi merely offered the word "Gladly" before her hand began to glow. The senshi then called out "Iris Rainbow Ribbon" as the light formed into what seemed like a long pastel rope made out of a rainbow. Once the attack had been formed, she swung it towards the woman, and more specifically, towards her weapon. If she could get her ribbon to latch onto that weapon, maybe she could tug it out of her Captain's hold to give her an opening.

Few Negas were keen to let their weapons out of their hands and Mica was no exception. There weren't many Senshi that knew the truth about her spear, yet the Captain didn't want to risk one of them running off with it or breaking it. It was for that reason that when the rainbow-colored ribbon wrapped around her spear, Mica was faced a split moment of indecision. That indecision caused her to forward when the spear was tugged, pulling her off her feet as the ribbon dragged her. Still, Mica clung to her weapon, grunting in protest at either the attempt to take her weapon, at her being reeled in like a stubborn fish, or both.
Not wanting to be reeled in any further, Mica managed to regain her feet and tried to dig her heels in.

With the spear now on the line (so to speak), Iris pulled against the Captain. The initial jerk was enough to cause her opponent to lose her footing for a moment, but soon enough the hooded figure was able to regain her footing and resist her attempts.
It was times like this that Iris wished she could summon two different rainbows with both of her hands. That would have been VERY convenient. However, convenience was never the name of the game.
As exciting as a stand off was, it only remained interesting for a short period of time. In fact, it got boring very fast. In an effort to change up the pace, the blonde then attempted something a little different. Now that this woman was adjusted to resisting and pulling back, perhaps now was time for a sudden change to make her stumble up even more.
With that, the senshi began to run towards the woman, causing the slack to loosen up, despite the fact her rainbow was still attached to it. As she drew closer, she attempted to whip her arm in a manner to cause the rainbow to do the same, aiming to potentially move the spear in a different direction to prevent any potential stabbings for today.

An annoying pattern was begining to form. That Senshi with the hockey pads had used that move against her, so Mica should have learned, and yet she fell for it again. Really, there was no excuse for it. To make matters worse, the Feather Butt was charging her and had managed to wrench her spear to the side.
Mica knew she wouldn't be able to whip her spear back into position in time, so instead she raised an arm to try to block potential blows and she bent her knees, dropping into a defensive stance. If she could just break the Senshi's momentum she'd be doing good, especially since Feather Butts weren't as stupid as their less tackily-decorated peers. With that in mind, she prepared to try to move with any blows to disrupt the Senshi's rhythm.

Iris' arm swung a fist towards the Captain, but alas, it was interrupted by the hooded woman's arm blocking the intended path. However, it didn't seem to slow the eternal senshi down in the slightest. It was hesitation that could easily turn this fight in the favor of this Negaverse sleeze. Since her other arm was somewhat occupied due to the rainbow clenched in her fist, she didn't use the fist itself, but then thrust an elbow towards the woman's face.

The raised arm had done its job, but the Senshi kept coming. Thankfully the next attack thrown at her was an elbow. Elbows tended to be a bit slower and ungainly, giving Mica more of a chance to move. She ducked and spun, trying to avoid the blow and pull her weapon free with the same momentum. Of course, that meant that for a brief period of time her back would be to the Senshi, which was... not cool, but a calculated risk.

A good spin was an excellent defense, for it made it trickier to actually get a hand on the opponent. The captain's tactics paid off, for with the sudden jerking motion of the spin, her weapon was freed from the Rainbow Ribbon.
Yet, it gave the senshi an opportunity she couldn't resist. The hooded woman's back was to her now. Even if it was brief, it was enough to tempt the blonde into releasing her hold of her attack (instantly causing the rainbow to vanish), then lace her fingers together so both of her hands could form a make-shift club. Her new "weapon" in place, she then aimed to slam it against this woman, square between her shoulders and close to her neck.

Mica was pleased to have her spear back, but not so pleased when a blow hit her back causing her to pitch forward. She stumbled a step, then another, then finally planted her foot and pivoted around, thrusting her spear at the Senshi. She was still learning how to use her new weapon, but she knew one thing at least: it was good for stabbing. Assuming she actually hit her target, of course.

Though she connected with her hit, the fight wasn't over yet. Her opponent wasn't a Lieutenant who could easily get knocked out. No, this was a Captain, someone who could better hold their own against an eternal senshi. The woman lurched forward, but then used that movement to twist back around to jab at Iris. It had swung high and within a moment a line of red seemed to carve itself upon the tomboy's cheek, followed by a very faint stinging sensation there.
It was also thanks to this new close combat that her gold eyes finally seemed to notice something. "Oh... yer th'b*tch who was fightin' against Atlas!" The outfit change definitely seemed to throw her for a bit of a loop, which meant the senshi obviously had some commentary. "What's th'matter... Catwoman's outfit ain't doin' it fer ya anymore?"
The spear jabbed at her again, though the senshi was able to dodge it this time. However, she didn't quite remember the fact there were a couple homeless men who were just sprawled out on the ground. With that dodge, the blonde stumbled over one of their bodies and fell to the ground.
"...well... sh*t..." she half grumbled, quite certain that the Captain would take advantage of this opening. Guess I'm going to have to head to the hospital again tonight.

" Better this then a** wings."
As if she controlled her outfit. If she did, it wouldn't have undergone such a radical change, instead just gaining some armored bits. The hood was nice and the spear was useful, but the rest she didn't particularly care for one way or the other. Still, at least she didn't look like she belonged in a Tinkerbell cartoon.
And Iris was quite right in thinking that Mica would take the opening. She rushed forward, spear aimed for the meat of the Senshi's shoulder.

Egeria was out patrolling well she had been till she worked out how to use this phone thing to find someone. She had tried calling Iris but would she answer her phone? It was so inconsiderate of her! Instead she tried this tracker thing on it and soon enough it picked up Iris as she walked about and Iris was on her own. What a surprise. Oh Egeria was so going to love this.
She was about to march straight out until she heard something going on. She hadn't quite got the whole feeling energy thing going yet. She peered round to see Iris fighting some nega person, at least she assumed it was one of those nega people, she really wasn't sure how you would tell but maybe that spear would help?
"MISCHIEF MAKER!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as she saw the spear heading towards Iris. She then ran out and stood just a little behind the eternal senshi.
"You told me that we don't go out on our own!" Of course Iris really had the time to talk right now... it might now be a toy hitting her shoulder but there was still a nega at the other end of it.

The blonde had braced for pointy impact, not closing her eyes, but staring the weapon straight on so she knew the exact moment it hit her. However, something interfered. Almost in a poof of smoke like one saw in the Capri-sun commercials, the spear had soon enough changed into something new. Something that when it jabbed the eternal senshi in the shoulder, it didn't hurt. In fact, the object seemed to have lost all of its points and turned into a hilarious rounded version of what it had been before.
All of this seemed familiar, as if someone had explained this attack to her before. Yet, the moment she heard a voice chastising her about her solo act, Iris knew who was to blame.
Glancing to the chibi senshi who was scrambling to get next to her, Iris simply offered a "Good job, Egeria" before getting back to her feet. As if that momentary lack of a weapon had given her a second wind, the senshi then rushed towards the Captain.
"These a** wings are 'bout t'beat ya inta next Sunday!"
