The leopardess was used to sneaking into the pride's lands by this point. The hard part was staying hidden. A golden glow of her intense eyes shown sinisterly in the shadows of a bush. Hoalohanani laid on her belly, watching her surroundings to make sure the coast was clear. She made a habit of keeping track of her position within the pride and always keeping close to familiar land marks. Having been sneaking around in the pride for a little more than a month, Hoalohanani has come across a number of the members and promptly chased off.
It was around mid day, though it was hard to tell in the thick forest. Only dapples of sunlight filtered down from the canopy. The moist air retaining the very earthy scent of the plants housed under the trees. Her swirled patterned fur only aiding in camouflage.

 She was not coloured like many of the pride, her coat was pale, true enough, but the cast of it was of browns instead of the deep blues that the pride so revered. Despite this, she was an advisor, her brother would one day ascend to the throne and she would be at his side as was her promise. She was respected by many, her will stronger than her incorrect fur colour but that wrong fur kept her ears burning.
Today was no different than any other, the 'none believers' in the pride had whispered as she passed and she as was her way had ignored them. Whispers could do nothing to her. She was stronger than that.
Still whispers usually made her wander onwards, trying to find a quiet place to think, perhaps to nap. It was then that she had wandered almost to the borders of the pride when she heard the faint rustling of another creature. "Who's there?" She whispers, her deep bronze eyed gaze falling upon the undergrowth, searching for the intruder in to her thoughts.At her side a ratel wandered his stout figure bustling though the ground works, moving every frond before him and carving a curious path. "Tisn't a lion Petra, it's a something else,c an smell it from here." He grunts waddling up beside the lioness and plonking himself upon her front toes. "Just stay still it might be dangerous."

Hoalohanani had let her guard down for only a moment. Fussing with the critter that scurried into her hiding spot. Having spied the unfortunately stupid mouse darting into the bush to settle beside her, the leopard sprung at it. Her movements within the bush causing it to shake and sway. The leopardess lifted her head with her left cheek rounded, housing the said mouse inside. Staring dumbfounded outside of the bush towards the lioness who was peering into the contents with some... ratel at her feet, Hoalohanani gulped. The gulp accidentally sucking the poor mouse down her throat, with the tail slipping between her lips like a noodle.
Hoalohanani was taken by surprise. But she understood that if she -ever- wanted any part of this pride, acting rashly would get her a ticket to choked windpipe.
The leopardess wasn't meek by any degree, but showed humility when she presented herself. Head lowered in a submissive position as she slithered out from the bush. "Hoalohanani..." She said slowly, eyes peeking up at the brown female. This was certainly new. Never seeing a BROWN pride member. Hoal supposed the female before her was a rogue too. "I want to be a member of this pride." Lifting her head, she smiled at the 'rogue'. "You'll have better luck than me."
