Hel tilted her head as she stared up at the imposing gate of the demon dorms. They had been pointed out to her earlier, and she knew that Lizzy lived here! The valkyrie was rather interested in seeking the ghoul out, since she hadn’t seen her since the festival, but she got a bit side tracked. She couldn’t help but note the differences in the dorm buildings and be fascinated by them.
She’d like a gate like this in her dream domain that she ruled over.
Just in her dream though! Hel was really fond of the reaper dorms, even though they were on the lowest elevation. It was home, and a good portion of her friends thus far lived there, it was just a good place to be! The reaper grinned before linking her hands behind her head and starting to merrily march past the gate and into the demon dorms. Who knew, maybe she’d get lucky and run into Lizzy, but if not, she just might start hollering for her in hopes she’d answer.

Pocketing her keys, she dusted down her dress before setting off for the stairs leading to the ground floor, Rosenthal resting on her shoulder, clinging on with his paws as he nuzzled her cheek. It was probably a good thing Lizzy was on her way out just as Hel was walking in; she wouldn't know how to react to someone yelling her name while wandering the Demon dorms. Reaching the main entrance of the dorms, she paused at the stairs, tilting her head slowly as she stared at the figure standing near the entrance; that duo-toned skin and hair... She stared...
"Ah! HEL!" She exclaimed before blushing, rushing down the remaining steps and enveloping the ghoul in her arms for a quick hug, "What're you doing here? Wait..." She blinked, a grin spreading on her lips as she practically squeaked, "You got enrolled?" While she wasn't close to the reaper, she found her easy to get along with... And thus, yay! More friends!

The reaper seemed to be in luck today! She didn’t have to wander too far before she noted a figure on the stairs. Maybe they could tell her where Lizzy lived? The reaper paused in the entrance, about to call out to the student, but the student called out to her first. Oh! Hel blinked, and then grinned widely. What wonderful luck she had today! It was Lizzy, and she remember her! That made the ghoul feel rather good about herself.
“Lizzy!” She called back cheerfully, stepping into the common room before she found herself rushed by the pink haired demoness. The reaper blinked once more, surprised, before quickly returning the hug, not really use to that sort of attention from people outside her family. The ghoul resumed grinning, giving a firm nod of her head when Lizzy made her statement. “I did! Not long after I attended the festival!” She replied proudly. “It’s good to see you again, friend. How have you been?”

"Ohhh, that's awesome!" She nodded with a grin, clearly excited for her friend. It was nice to know that new students were not deterred from enrolling into the school by the... Giant red thing that attacked during the festival. She still felt a little upset about how it had destroyed all the poor booths; all the hard work that had gone into them! Gone within minutes! She pouted at the thought before shaking her head, as if to clear that thought from her mind before smiling, "That's a while ago though! Have you been spending time in school during the break?" She asked, curious as to when exactly Hel moved into the dorms on campus.
"Me? I've been good~" That was a lie; she had been feeling rather conflicted about the changes that had taken place to her over the break, but she wasn't about to tell that to Hel... Sure, the ghoul was nice, but they hadn't known each other for very long! She shouldn't rant to her... That wouldn't make a good "first" impression, anyway.

“Indeed!” Hel agreed. Unbeknownst to Lizzy though, Hel missed the giant red thing that attacked during the festival. The ghoul had a train to catch back to her home and all that. Still, the valkyrie would be devastated over missing such an epic battle and clash, not to mention the epic chaos it left in its wake. Oh well. Maybe another time! “Ah, yes, I have!” The reaper answered. “I moved in, set up my room, and have taken to exploring the grounds and meeting with fellow students.”
Luckily for Lizzy, Hel didn’t have a reason to doubt her. “Oh? I’m glad to hear it, friend!” She replied happily. “Did you have a good break? Mot said he had a good visit at your home, was that true for you as well?” Maybe it was a bit startling how Hel just blatantly asked that, but the ghoul was lacking some tact. That and she was a rather curious thing.

Lizzy would like to inform Hel that missing the raging red thing's attack on the festival was nothing to be devastated over.
"That's good to hear!" She grinned, glad that Hel was settling in just fine, "I see you've been busy~ How do you like it here so far?" School life could be pretty different from living at home, after all. She had to learn to be independent when she first moved in, and it was odd to wake up not smelling her mother's homemade breakfast; now that she had gone home and back to school again, she couldn't help but miss it again... Then again, she'd probably get used to it again.
"Oh? Mot did?" She grinned fondly at the mention of the cowboil, "He was fun to have around for sure~ Livened things up at home, and mother said he's interesting, which I'm taking as a good thing!" She giggled before nodding, "I'm glad he agreed to stay over!" It was nice to know that he had as much fun as she did; then again, she was pretty sure Charlie was a good source of amusement for the reaper during the stay at her place.

“I love it!” The reaper replied heartily. It was a drastic change of pace from her home. She was alone, left to her own devices, no one pulling her this way and that over what should be done that day. Admittedly though, Hel was at a bit of a loss, having all this new freedom, but right now she was still excited about it. She gave a nod of her head in reply to what Mot had told her. “Ah, lively, that is always a good thing, yes?” Hel grinned in return, briefly wondering what it was like at Lizzy’s house before dismissing the thought.
It was then that the ghoul seemed to notice the mini-pet on Lizzy’s shoulder, and regarded it curiously with a tilt of her head. “What’s that, friend?” Hel questioned, gesturing at Rosenthal.

"It is!" She nodded with a smile, "Mother always wanted a lively household, but she only had me... So it was nice to have friends over. It got a little chaotic sometimes, I suppose, but it was fun..." She liked the idea of having siblings, despite how she had heard others wished that they were the only child; then again, both had its pros and cons. Pausing momentarily, she pushed that thought to the back of her head as she grinned, "I'm glad you're loving it here! And oh! Yes, this is Rosenthal, my minipet!"
Rosenthal had been listening quietly, staring at the unfamiliar ghoul; she smelt a little like two reapers he did not like, but Lizzy seemed to like her, so he had no problem with the ghoul. Besides, she was a ghoul! When his name was mentioned, he wriggled his head wings and tilted her head to a side as he stared at Hel. As if in greeting, he raised a paw and waved it in the air before going back to clinging onto Lizzy's shoulder.
There, that should be enough cute for any ghoul!

Hel laughed. “If your Mother wants a livelier household, I will send my eight older sisters her way, then.” She grinned at Lizzy, amused, and gave a nod of her head as well. “Well, I’m glad you had fun. I believe that’s what matters most, friend.” When the pink haired ghoul introduced her mini-pet, Hel blinked, and then stared at him curiously, as well with a speculative look. She looked a bit surprised when he waved at her, and not one to be rude, Hel have a wave of a fair hand in return. Was this the mini-pet Mot was talking about though? Only one way to find out!
“Lizzy…Mot said that his hat was taken…” She tilted her head now, in Rosenthal’s direction, with a brow raised curiously.

"You have... Eight older sisters?" Her eyes widened in surprise; she had heard of other spider families being huge, and that hers was a rare exception, but she didn't know that other races had large families too... Much less a reaper family! She paused, and then repeated herself, as if finding the figure hard to believe, "Eight? Wow..." She was fascinated with the idea of having that many siblings in the household; after all, she had only invited five of her friends over, and it got noisy around the dinning table! Having more must result in even more noise!
"Well..." She smiled sheepishly, letting out a nervous chuckle, "I'm afraid... I think Rosenthal and Mot don't get along." Pausing, she reached out to take the minipet off her shoulder, putting both hands gently around him before holding him out towards Hel with a giggle, "He's harmless though! Just a little protective over me, I suppose." The minipet had attacked Mac when he made her cry, after all... He probably thought that Mot was a 'bad guy' too.
"Do you want to try holding him...?"

“Yes.” Hel reaffirmed with a nod of her head. “I am the youngest of nine daughters.” Lizzy would be correct in assuming that the noise at the dinner table was outrageous. Her sisters and her mother could chatter up a storm each and every night, effectively drowning out anything their father would say. Huh…Hel rubbed her chin thoughtfully. Now that she thought about it, father never really did say anything during dinner. Oh well. Maybe the food was so good it kept him preoccupied.
The reaper blinked when Lizzy stated that Mot and Rosenthal didn’t get along. “Why is that?” Hel questioned, looking puzzled as she watched the demoness take the mini-pet off of her shoulder and then hold it out to her. Hel stared at Rosenthal for a good long moment, assessing him. He seemed harmless enough, but did he really cause Mot grief? A little over protective, huh? Well…maybe the ghoul would give him the benefit of the doubt, and keep a close eye on him. “Alright.” Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
Both of her hands reached out to hold onto the mini-pet, brushing against Lizzy’s hands and startling a bit. “Are you alright friend?” She asked with sudden concern, “You’re cold!” Hel never really interacted with demons before, thus she was not aware of the temperature difference.

"Ohhh!" Her face lit up as she smiled excitedly, "How is it like, having so many sisters? Ohhh, it must be so fun! Like... Like having a sleepover every day of your life!" She giggled before smiling sheepishly, blushing slightly at her sudden 'outburst'; she couldn't help it! She liked the idea of having a lively household almost as much as her mother, and had always been curious about how it's like to be part of a big family... While being in school was sort of like that - since her closer friends were more like family now - she was still curious to hear about what it must be like from the point of view of someone who grew up in such a family setting.
"I'm an only child, so big families fascinate me," She nodded before releasing her hold on Rosenthal so that Hel could take him from her. The minipet squirmed a little as he was transferred, but once he was in Hel's hands, he nuzzled her before turning his head to look up at her; she seemed nice enough so far!
"Cold?" She echoed, tilting her head before giggling softly, "Ah! Oh, it's how I am... I'm cold blooded, so my body temperature changes with the surroundings. In room temperature, I suppose I must feel pretty cold to someone who's warm blooded!" That's why hugging her warm blooded friends felt so nice for her, "I prefer feeling warm to feeling cold though..."

Uh…Hel seemed a bit lost when asked how it was like, living with so many sisters. How did one answer that question? It was like asking someone how they lived with their hair being a certain color…you just did and it was what you were use to. “Fun…” Hel echoed, maybe a bit dubiously. “Most of the time, yes. Everyone always knows what the other is up to, there is always help for a task around the house, and there is always someone there…” The reaper trailed off thoughtfully before regarding Lizzy once more.
“Another only child?” Hel murmured out loud. Mot was an only child too, from what she learned. “Ah, I made the offer to Mot, so I shall make it to you as well then, friend. I will let you borrow my sisters.” The ghoul looked uncertain for a moment when Rosenthal squirmed in her grasp, kind of like someone who was just handed a baby and didn’t know what to do with it. She brought the mini-pet to her chest, tucking his head under her chin and reached up to brush her fingers over his head lightly.
“Oh...!” The valkyrie blinked, looking surprised and in awe. Cold blooded students, huh? How interesting! Hel laughed at Lizzy’s statement. “Ah…I like to feel cool every now and then…though I suppose I enjoy being warm as well.” It depend on the situation and how she was feeling, really.

"That does sound fun..." She replied wistfully before giggling, giving Hel a sheepish grin, "Well, I made Mot my big brother during the break and he agreed, so we're not so only-child anymore?" Then again, she treated some of her other friends that way too, even without their expressed permission, "He's a good big brother and friend." Then again, he's her only 'official' big brother to date; it was a rather impromptu decision... She wasn't sure what fueled her to ask at the time.
"Borrow your sisters?" She giggled at the idea, "How will that work though?"
Rosenthal nuzzled Hel's chin before letting out what sounded a little like a purr, his ear wings wriggling as he leaned into the sort of head pats; ohhh, this ghoul was giving him attention! Besides, it was nice to be pampered by someone other than Lizzy!
"Rosenthal seems to like you," She commented with an amused smile before nodding, "I'm sure it might be different for warm blooded people, but when I'm too cold, I feel sleepy... And not the good kind of sleepy sometimes. I just want to curl up and feel warm again."

Hel gave a chuckle and a tilt of her head. “Made each other siblings, huh?” Somewhere deep down, the reaper seemed a tiny bit…relieved. How adorable though, proclaiming another to be your sibling! She briefly wondered what it would be like to just adopt someone as a sibling…Oh well, something to ponder for another time! “That is good.” She replied with a firm nod of her head. It was good to have a reliable sibling and a friend…A reliable sibling. Hel felt a brief pinch of home sickness for a certain sister in particular before brushing the feeling away for now.
“It will be easy, I will tell them where to go and they will fly!”
The ghoul kept lightly petting Rosenthal’s head, pausing when he nuzzled her chin. Aww. Hel was finding him to be a bit…endearing. Just a tiny bit. She resumed petting him, even scratching lightly under his chin as she looked up at Lizzy. “Oh? He does?” She echoed. “Well, that is good I suppose…” The reaper looked at the demoness with an ‘oh’ expression, before humming thoughtfully. “…Maybe we should find a heat lamp for you?” She tried offering helpfully, not intending to compare Lizzy to some sort of cold blooded pet that needed to be taken care of.
