I've had numerous... Err... Dare I say 'Things'? But few actual 'relationships'. Out first I thought this was just because I lack commitment, and simply enjoyed the freedoms I have whilst being single. But, as of late I've come to realize that it's because I'm just not into the immature, childish bullshit that is a relationship in High School. Now don't get me wrong, their are exceptions to everything, so not all relationships that take place between two individuals that are in High school are immature, or childish. Just most of them. I see it all the time, "Omfg I'm gonna love dem foreverz ********" *Next day* "Omg he was suchj a p***k I'md gon date johnny instead, I luvs you johnny boy <333333333" ... So maybe I exaggerated a weeeee bit, but I think it got that point across. - And if not I'll clarify the meaning with this statement: Most teenagers aren't ready for a real relationship, and toss around the word 'love' like they're playing hot potato with a grenade.
It's ridiculous in my eyes, and I hate how someone says they are "Dating", or "Going out" But they never see each other except at the ******** school. Does anyone else see my point? See how ridiculous it all is? I have to stop myself now, or I'll be up for the rest of the night typing my views on this. So, I'm going to cut it short for now. Views?

I agree. Most people at high school age aren't ready for a real commitment or are too immature to even know what love is, what it feels like. But its also important to have these 'things' so that they can experience what shitty relationships are like, or what kind of person they're really looking for anyways. It helps break down the social awkwardness that first comes with dating, at the very least, and helps prepare them for the more serious relationships coming ahead. So, while I agree with you I can't say that what they're doing is a complete waste of time and emotion either.

Trials and error. How can you reach your destination without taking some risk? Well ok, you can but when you reach your destination it might not be the one you thought you needed to reach, or something along that shitty line.
