Things were just starting to settle for the Heir of War, who had been having a particularly difficult time adjusting to the life the horsemen had returned to. Namely, living in Amityville Academy, although it wasn't so much Amityville itself that was so unsettling. She and the rest of the horsemen had actually attended the school as... well, she couldn't say as kids, considering Invictus was hardly older than anyone attending the school currently, but attended the school when they were attending school at all. It felt like an eternity ago, and for them it kind of was... being stuck on an island, powers severely diminished, completely alone except for their own company and the hunters which pursued them at every turn. And really, that was the entire problem... they'd grown so... used to being on that island, so used to the constant pounding of the waves, the mist which felt like it was sapping every bit of strength from you, the silence that was deafening, maddening, enough where you sometimes couldn't distinguish between your own thoughts and someone else's voice. Except it was always your thoughts there. Because except the other horsemen, there wasn't anyone else.

That was one of the main problems Eris was facing, especially on that particular day. The pumpkin sun had risen clearly on that particular morning, unobstructed by clouds to illuminate the dried grass and dead trees just outside her window, casting an orange glow into her room Hellma had given her in the Demon dorms. That had been the first problem, actually -- the mist which had surrounded the Hunter's island had always obstructed most of the sunlight, leaving everything hazy and muted. It was... different, feeling her skin warm without the use of fire, familiar only from the faintest recollections, the madness having long since pushed those memories away. As a result, she had been a little edgy to begin with, the part of her mind still recovering a little unnerved by the change. And from there, it had all gone downhill. She'd gone out to find a snack for her new Perfect Hand minipet, only to be accosted by a shrill, offensive scream from the girl down the hall, bawling something about giving back her 'fluffy wuffums.' Apparently, mice were friends, not food. She wasn't quite sure what had happened after that... except she'd managed to set the sprinklers off again.

And now she was wet.

Eris gave a long, tired sigh as she sat down on the edge of the well within Amity's borders, crossing her legs as delicately as she could as she wrung out the water from her blood red skirt. Beneath her, a puddle was beginning to form from where she was trying to dry herself, every squeeze causing more water to splash against the pavement, earning another exasperated sigh from the Horseman. In the end, she let the material drop back over her legs, opting instead to go with fire instead. With a flourish of her hand, orange and yellow flame suddenly licked at her fingers, and she lowered it to her dress, hovering it a few inches away to try to speed the process.

Willow had heard the fluffy wuffums scream. Ears pinning down and automatically making for a door, the tigress hated anything ear piercing and this was no exception, even if she was a ghost. Willow liked mice as much as Joachim but the fact of the matter screaming was on Willow's most hated list. The ghoul had managed to get out of the hallway only after getting drowned.

"Oi... for jacks sake. I thought professor savage's room was the only one that had a water problem." She paused looking around, she could turn intangible right? Well obviously there wasn't that many others around and being a ghost they probably wouldn't care. Willow had been at the time walking around completely tangible, and in a second she let that go and became slightly translucent and watched the water basically drop to the ground.

It'd taken her a second to notice what she thought was a Demon, trying to dry herself out. Willow moved over towards Eris, "H-hi." she she said softly hoping not to startle the demon who was now trying to dry herself with flames. "Need some help?" The Byakko tilted her head curiously.
