 The sun hide behind the ever darkening clouds and Melanie couldn't help but feel drowsy. The side effects of a stormy day she always said. The rain and darkness seemed to have this tiring effect. Yet at the same time, not being able to exert her energy always made her twitchy.
What a weird quirk.
The peal colored mare frowned up at the sky, hating this wretched weather. "It must be rain week or something!" she mumbled with frustration. With a flip of her bangs she was off, pacing the field in wide strides.

Imogen was a little worried with the whispers she had been hearing. First a mare had gone missing and then a skinwalker had been sighted around the boarders. The Vitterfolk had doubled the patrols but still Immi wondered if it was enough. She had sent Day out with Niwatu to gather more healing herbs in the case they were needed. Malis had her own hooves full without having to worry about triage.
As she took a small journey out of the forested glade and into the open grasslands that was part of their more open territory she noticed a familiar face. Well, not as such that she had met them before, but she had seen them in the common-shared plains a little to the north of their river. With a warm smile she trotted up to greet them.

With the wind picking up in strength and the clouds rushing across the sky, it was no wonder she didn't notice anyone else in the area until that someone was just about on her. How pretty... Melanie paused mid step and stopped to greet this dark pink mare. "Hi there!"
