The day had been going wonderful, at least that's what Barsaat thought. Everything was always great. He tried to look at things in a good way. Even if they were bad, some how they were meant to happen. He rolled around in the grass letting the sun have at his belly for the moment. His blue fur seemed to pop out anywhere. He had just come from the forest, spending time with a few creatures and wondering around the land. He loved adventure. Loved to get around places and see new things.
What he longed for, though, was a friend to join him on those adventures. Someone he could count on. Though, most everyone he made friends with had their own prides to worry about. Had their own lives and didn't have time to go anywhere with him. It was sad, yet happy at the same time. He thought of settling down somewhere, but never had found the right person to do it with. The land was calling to him, and always made him wonder away before anything could catch him and keep him in one spot.
Weather it was a butterfly, or some small creature he ended up following, taking him away from any land he decided that he liked. Perhaps his short attention span had something to do with it? He never put too much thought into it. It was how it was suppose to happen. He sighed as he smiled up at the sky. His paws flopped lazily on his chest. His back legs stretched out as he now lay still.
Life was good, yet always had room for improvement.
