The undead ghoul sat perched on the steps of the Demon dorm phone in hand, it had taken some poking about, but she had picked up the other demon's number from Bul earlier. She couldn't even recall how long it had been since they left Cricket after being patched up. When they had woken up, they both had Helma pins. Something you would think they would bond over, instead they had hardly spoken.
Of course going on break till the next semester of classes didn't help. Especially when one of you hopped a train for two weeks all for a certain friend of theirs.
Still she finally got around to sending the message. Hey West, Sammy. haven't seen you in a while. Meet outside demon dorms in 30? Got drinks. Of course it might be a bit of a bluff, she had drinks, but not the fun kind of drinks.
Sitting and waiting Sammy pulled out the Helma pin from her pocket, the small prize that had caused her so much pride, and yet so much trouble all the same.
"Wonder how much trouble you made for West...."

The wrath demon had a bad habit of completely ignoring his phone, so when Sammy sent her text, West was hardly paying attention. He was in the bathroom, trying to arrange his hair around his horns in a way that didn't make him want to puke. This haircut was horrifying.
Twenty minutes later, he emerged from the bathroom, saw he had a new text message, read it, and made his way outside a relatively short while after Sammy arrived. He didn't know much about the ghoul other than the fact that she was a good fighter, and he really didn't know why she would want to see him outside of class, but West was nothing if not curious.
"Heard there were drinks out 'ere," he said, taking a seat nearby, but not too nearby. She had something in her hand, but he couldn't quite see what it was.

When West arrived the ghoul turned to glance over her shoulder offering a lazy grin, "Yeah it's always the free drinks that bring the boils to my stoop." She reached down beside her grabbing a bottle of Haterade tossing it towards the demon before leaning back on the steps to relax a bit.
"So how's the life of my fellow Ninja killer?" She cocked her head slightly to keep an eye on him as she spoke. "Amrita got a new body, Barth is teaching a class, and so far all we got are some nifty little pins."

His hand shot out with an agility he failed to possess when he was thinking about using it, and West snatched the bottle out of the air with a grin. He was about to ask her what she was playing at calling this her stoop, when he recalled that the ghoul did, in fact, live in the demon dorms. Huh. He'd have to ask her about that sometime.
"I'm, um, fine?" he replied, twisting open the bottle's top. It certainly sounded like Amrita and Barth were having more interesting second years than he was. All he had done recently was visit home for a week and be rudely reminded how much he hated his ex. "Takin' classes, lookin' for Snots t'hit." He chuckled. As far as Hellma's pin was concerned, it was still a sore point for the boil. West made a clumsy attempt to change the subject.
"So, Amrita's gotta new body?" That would explain the vaguely familiar ghoul he had seen in Savage's class.

Sammy had been living in the dorms long enough that the place did feel like home to her now more then the undead dorms did. Sure she still visited her friends over there, but she had a room on the second floor with a nice view. It topped her ice box basement any day.
"Fine's good enough. Could be worse. Always could be worse." She tilted her own drink back drinking from it before grinning again, "Pickin' fights with first years? You are a demon aren't you?" She would usually have given someone a bigger ear full depending on why the picked on others, but in this case, well she couldn't help but sometimes want to ruffle feathers just for a good fight.
When he changed the subject she only gave the slightest hit of awarnes, quirking an eyebrow before nodding her head. "Yeah she looks her age now, her old boy was like nine or something? This new one was made by Christolf I think. He did a pretty good job too. Cept they still can't get her hand's and feet on right. Something about the kinda undead she is and the way they poses the body."
Raising her hands she wiggled her fingers about, "Da Voodoo mahn~"

He smirked and shook his head, a bit of the unease over the pin Sammy held dissipating. West wasn't too proud to beat up first years, in fact, sometimes it was better to target Snots than his peers. They were a lot less likely to tattle.
"I didn' know that," he admitted. The fact that Amrita wasn't actually nine, that Christof made bodies (although that part made made sense at least), that her body's hands and feet hadn't been like that when she'd put it on, any of it. He looked a little confused. Hopefully the ghoul didn't notice.
West peered at the pin in her hand, taking a long breath and sighing it back out before speaking. "So. Y'gotta problem with yours'r didja jus' bring it t'show me?" Hellma's pin hadn't caused him any trouble at all, but that was mostly because he was in denial that he possessed it.
