Hel skipped down the stairs of the reaper dorms two at a time, grinning widely.
It was time to make a run to the grocery store, and she had enough seeds to buy the ingredients to make more of her hearty family stew! Granted, she didn’t know where the grocery store was, but that was part of the adventure right? It wasn’t so much the destination; it was the journey of getting there. The ghoul was pulled from her thoughts though, as on the stairs below her, she caught sight of a familiar reaper, having seen him at Junko’s booth, Mot’s room, and in class, but hadn’t introduced herself yet!
Well, she was about to fix that.
Hel lunged over the railing of the stairs, soaring down until she landed on the steps a few down in front of Shun. A loud clanging sound was heard as the steel plates of her boots smacked the stone steps, and she righted herself, placing her hands on her hips as she grinned up at him widely. “Hello there! I’ve seen you around many times, but haven’t introduced myself yet.” A dark hand shot out at him to shake. “I’m Hel!”

Since Shun didn't always eat out and was able to make small things for himself, every now and then, he had to run to the store to grab some new supplies. Occasionally he would have to grab things that weren't food as well, but that wasn't quite the case for today. Leaving his room so he could head on to the store, he placed his hands into his pockets and went on towards the stairs.
He hadn't really expected to run into anyone along the way, and didn't pay any mind when he heard a few steps from somewhere behind him.
However, he soon stopped in his tracks as something soared on overhead to land right in front. Now that wasn't exactly something he expected either. It was the valkyrie he had seen a couple times in the past, though he never really spoke to her before.
"...."
She... certainly seemed to be quite the extrovert as she grinned at him and introduced herself.
"Name's Shun," he said quietly, "Now.. if you excuse me.."

“Shun.” Hel echoed. “It’s a pleasure to meet you!” She waggled her fingers at him, her hand still outstretched as she waited for him to shake it. It was only the proper thing to do after all!
She didn’t seem at all put off by the reaper’s reserved demeanor, and tilted her head when he tried to excuse himself. “Ah, have somewhere you need to be, friend?” She questioned curiously. “If it’s along the way, mind if I accompany you? I’m going to the grocery store!” Still, she didn’t know where it was, but maybe this reaper did, and would enlighten her about its location. The valkyrie would be overjoyed to know that they were going to the same place though.

Somewhat gingerly, Shun took Hel's hand but soon retracted and placed his hand back into his pocket. He raised an eyebrow at the fact that the other reaper referred to him as 'friend' despite having really just met. That was weird.
"That's where I'm headed," he said quietly, though a part of him wondered if he would end up regretting this decision. Then again, she would eventually find out if she followed him anyway, so it probably didn't matter. He had a pretty good feeling that she wouldn't go away even when shoo'd off.
Lizzy was already hard enough to get rid of at times and it seemed like this girl was worse in that aspect.
Lucky him.
"Not like I can stop you anyway," he mumbled.

Hel was a bit disappointed in Shun’s handshake, but she let it slide for now. She retracted her hand after he put his back in his pocket, and back on her hip it went. When the other reaper stated that that was where he was going too, Hel’s face lit up. “Really? Excellent! I will accompany you, then!” That’s right Shun, you don’t get a choice in this matter. The ghoul saw this as an opportunity to get to know another one of her fellow reapers while also getting food stock for her little kitchen. It was a win/win situation in her books.
The valkyrie than hopped down the rest of the stairs, looking back up at Shun as she waited for him to fall in step with her. She laughed at his observation about not being able to stop her. “This is true, so you might as well make the best of it, yes? How long have you been at the Academy for?”

Once on the bottom floor, Shun started on out the building and towards the school gates so they could head to town.
"About three months," he replied. It was... a little strange to think that so much had happened within that time frame. Just three months ago he was even more of a loner.
Three months ago, he also didn't have these weird and conflicting feelings that had formed within him. He still didn't know if that was really a good or bad thing really.
"I take it you just got here."

She easily fell into step with the taller reaper, keeping up with him as they left the dorms and made it across the grounds to the gate. There was a pep in her gait as she walked a testament to her seemingly endless energy and enthusiasm. “Ah, I see!” She replied, smiling. It seemed a lot of students she was meeting had been here for a good amount of time already and that just seemed to work to her advantage. How lucky it was as well, that she found a reaper who was also going to the grocery store!
“Indeed, I did!” Hel chirped, looking up at Shun. “So friend, what do you like to do outside of classes? Are you in any clubs?”

It seemed like Hel had nearly a bottomless pit of energy, or something to that effect. Shun wasn't really sure what to make of it. But hopefully she wouldn't start to bounce off of him or anything like that.
"Just fitness right now," he replied quietly while moving along. While he had attended the meeting for music club, he did not consider himself to be a member. For one thing, he didn't audition. For another, he had no intention of actually playing with or for them at any point in time.

Could Hel’s day get any better?
“Oh, fitness?” She echoed cheerfully. “As am I!” Her wings fluttered briefly in excitement at the thought of having more friends to spar with. This one looked like he could be a good one too. “Say there friend.” She started, “Would you be interesting in sparring one day then?” How quick the reaper was to jump into these sorts of things! She didn’t like passing up the opportunity to better herself or testing a fellow students skills. She stared up at the grim reaper, waiting impatiently for an answer.

How lovely. She was in the same club. But, for the most part he didn't give a damn as long as she didn't pester him or anything like that. Though, his interest was soon piqued as she mentioned sparring. Shun glanced over at the girl, to make sure she wasn't just throwing that out there for the hell of it. Hel did look rather eager (then again he hadn't really seen her in any other state thus far).
"I'm always up for one," he replied.
His body had fully healed from overworking himself so he was pretty much ready to go at it whenever. The Reaper just.. had to make sure not to do that again lest Mitsu get onto him for it.

How lovely it was indeed! Hel just couldn’t be even more thrilled.
The reaper knew she had his attention though by his simple glance, and her grin widened at his response. Excellent! It also seemed like he wouldn’t go easy on her just because she was a ghoul, unlike another reaper she knew. “Wonderful!” She cheered, a hand coming up to rub her chin thoughtfully. “Well then, Shun…” Hel started. “How about…after we gather our groceries and return to the dorm…?”

"Sounds good to me," Shun nodded. With everything that had been going on, something like this could make for some good stress relief. Hopefully his issues wouldn't get in the way of their match. The last thing he needed was a dent to his pride because he couldn't focus.
Though, it was too bad they had no battle passes so they could really go all out, but a purely physical spar wouldn't too bad either.
"There's a boxing ring in the fitness room. Otherwise, the outdoors would do," he said.

Hel clapped her hands once firmly to express her excitement, as if it wasn’t apparent on her face already. It would have been awesome to be able to go all out. The reaper had been itching to be able to use her weapon, but alas, that just wasn’t to be anytime soon. Still, a spar was a spar, and Hel wasn’t going to pass that up! “Outside sounds good!” Hel commented. “That way there’s nothing limiting our movements.”
The reaper marched right along with Shun, looking here and there was they made their way to the grocery store, attempting to keep this route in mind for future grocery store runs. “So friend…” Hel started up again in her mini-quest of getting to know the reaper next to her. “What class are you?”

Nodding quietly to Hel, Shun looked up to see the store not too far off. It wouldn't take too long to pick up the few supplies he needed. He wasn't really sure if the same could be said for his new acquaintance, but he had time today in any case.
"Me? I'm a first year," he said with some level of disdain. Regardless of where he stood exactly, he was still a weakling comparatively. That thought aggravated him considerably.

Luckily Shun wouldn’t have to wait for Hel for too long. She knew exactly what she wanted as well, and all the ingredients she needed would be in the same general area. Her pace picked up when she saw the grocery store front come into view and she turned her head back towards the reaper when he answered her question, noting his disdain.
“Same here friend, but we all have to start somewhere!” The valkyrie hummed thoughtfully for a moment before stepping into the store, pausing a moment to take in her new surroundings. “So, what do you need?”
