So today I was heading for my weekly karate lessons. Everytime before the lessons begin, me and some others have a little warm up, where we try to slap eachother on the cheek. It is actually a lot of fun, especially when you are 4 persons trying to hit eachother. mrgreen
So anyways, we were standing like in a circle and tried to slap eachother. Then all of a sudden, one of them tried to slap me on the cheek, but instead he hit me on the left ear, and it was with a flat hand. I just stood still. It hurt a lot in my ear, and I kept hearing that "BEEEEEEEEEEEEP" sound. I just said suddenly: "Dude, I think I'm deaf." I seriously couldn't hear anything on my left ear. xd First, they didn't believe me and thought I was joking (I joke a lot) but then after a while they realized I wasn't and I quickly went to the nearest ear doctor in the city to see if there had been any damages. However the doctor luckily said there wasn't anything wrong with my inside ear, and I should be able to hear normal within a few hours. Such a relief. xd
Have you guys ever experienced anything similar?

haha, that's pretty funneh! Sounds painful though...xD
I've never been in karate or anything, and I can't really say that anything like that has happened to me before!

I might have been through something close to that and that's when your band director connects the metronome to the loud speaker -.-
then he moves the speaker right in front of you....

I also soemtimes smell smoke, even though there's no smoke around meh. -.-

haha, I hate the smell of smoke.

Had someone scream in my ear once. Painful. I whacked them across the head and tortured them for that. xD Luckily my hearing came back to me a few hours after the incident.

I remember onces during marching band, I had the trumpets on one side of me, the drummers behind me [snaredrums], then the tubas on the others...marchign tubas....NOT fun... -.-
