History: Harmony is Benden Weyr born and bred, and grew up in the crèche with all the other Weyrbrats. She was always a confident girl and had plenty of friends, though not so many as to be one of the highly popular girls. Confident that she would become a rider like her green riding father (who she knew of rather than properly knowing) and as such never bothered to learn a craft. When she was in her twentieth turn she formed a relationship with a brown rider, still convinced that her dragon would come for her at the last moment. It didn't, and incidentally when she aged out the brown rider lost interest in her. Far from impressed and not wanting to just work in the caverns her whole life, Harmony became a wher handler apprentice the day after she turned twenty one. Now part way through her twenty second turn, she is ready to approach a queen and attempt to get herself an egg.

Description: A mane of wavy red hair is Harmony's most notable feature: it falls nearly to her waist and she takes excellent care of it. Beyond that she's nothing too special to look at: she has a fairly average build though she's toned from hard work, her curves do not often make men's knees weak, she's average height, her grey-blue eyes are not an especially striking shade, and her pale skin is most definitely freckle central. While she might not blind with great beauty, however, she carries herself with great confidence which some find attractive and of itself. She dresses practically for work, but off duty she usually likes to look good and favours short skirts and form-fitting tops.

Personality: Harmony is confident, sensual and something of a hedonist. She's also proud, somewhat quick tempered and bitchy; she holds grudges, and is capable of being really spiteful to anyone she feels has wronged her. Still bitter about not being chosen by a dragon, riders and indeed the great brutes themselves are not her favourite things ever and she speaks quite scathingly of them in general. What she has to say about the brown rider who dumped her is unprintable, and involves comparing the size of her little finger to certain body parts.

Quite a driven woman, Harmony wants to become successful in her field and being confident she believes that she will be so long as she works hard. As she's also a hedonist she's a 'work hard play hard' type, and always makes the most of her free time; she loves parties, especially if there's an excuse to dress up nicely. She's generally fun to have around at parties and indeed socially in general, being chatty but also happy to listen to what other people have to say. Of course, this 'fun to be with' rather goes out the window if she dislikes you or if she's in a bad mood for some reason.

In a group she likes to lead if she can but is quite capable of following so long as she's treated with respect; if she isn't she'll do all she can to undermine whoever insulted her regardless of the possible consequences of her actions. When it comes to danger, Harmony reacts in one of two ways: if she's angry she'll face it head on, but if she's not angry she'll get scared and do her best to escape the situation as soon as possible.
