Today I decided to sell an outfit I had made.
When I clicked the sell button, it said the outfit was worth a little over 2 million gold.
So I put it up for 2,25o,ooo gold & it sold right away.
Wondering why, I went to check to find that it was worth over 3 million gold.
Dammit.
'snot fair. sad
At least some of the item I won, or bought years ago for 9k.
So I guess it wasn't a total lost. OwO
Still pissed though.

I'm very happy with the gold.
Just mad that I lost around a million.
I could just kick myself for not checking it out before I sold it.

Be grateful you weren't the person who sold their outfit of Katana, Demonic Anklets, Jenny Doll, Dark Halo, Secret Retreat, Mona's Potion, String Ensemble, Bavarian Delights, Cloud, Tragic Melody, Chyaku Norisu Scarf and Pebbled Heart for 675k. neutral

I've learned to never trust what amounts Gaia itself says items are worth, it's never up to date.

I think that sell an outfit thing is the dumbest update Gaia has done in a while. It completely discourages using your own creativity to make your avatars.

I hate that average price thing...It always undervalues my avatars (apparently I use too many of the RIG fail items.) So my avatars take forever to sell.
Before they implemented it (the first week or so of the OMP,) I accidentally typed a '1' before a 60k outfit price, and it sold for 160k before I could fix it.
(O_o I feel so outclassed by all those mini wings and golden laurels...
And me in my newb-looking questing outfit.)

Never depend on something that's still in "Beta".
It's called Beta for a reason. There will be bugs and
you have to be wary of them.

outfits make nothin! buy bundles, unpack them and sell individually, i made 70k profit!! i already bought me my fav item in game, zodiacal 13th gen

Outfits are a dodgy way to make money really. They rely on Gaia updates and I don't see them being updated that often. Perhaps if you had money to burn, then they might be ok to mess about with.
RIGs and other things are safer that outfits IMHO.

 Hm, i might create a outfit from cheap and unwanted/event item that i don't need...let see what happens then...might be a while to let you know about it, kinda lazy to that now XD
For good items (all items in general for me), i add an extra '0' at the end.
