It'd been a long time since Tooki had been to see his father. He figured it might be time, and he couldn't think of anything better than introducing Muse to him as well. Maybe even his mother would be there visiting. He was never sure on that.
The pair had traveled through the flood plains, which left them with a few merry stories about each other. This currently was amusing them as they approached the beach.
Tooki had been laughing for awhile now as he listened to Muse recant about his slipping in the mud, "That's nothing, really. How about when you slid on that patch of slick moss...Your face...."
He chuckled, then paused when a breeze off the sea hit him. He inhaled the salty air, then looked at the mare by his side. "I think we're finally here. I grew up near here and played on this beach as a foal. My father is usually here...but it's been sometime since I've seen him.
