This is a private role play between Huang-Fu [Nyxtsuki Moon] and Sarangerel [Biki]

Setting

Sara meets a familiar face at the bar! Then Huang hears something he really does not like the sound of!
PostPosted: Wed Aug 24, 2011 1:09 pm

Sara was wandering around the bar with a small smile, she was a common face here. She liked to spend her free time amongst friends and despite common belief, she actually did let her hair down every so often. Chuckling she weaved in and out of people, her drink in one hand and her other patting people on the shoulder on her way past. She looked back at the table where her students were sat. She often took them out, she was their teacher, but also their friend and she liked to remind them of the fact. When she looked towards the bar she saw something she was not expecting, it made her pause and tilt her head slightly.

She was already a little tipsy seeing as she had been here for a few hours now, though the night was still young in her opinion. Tilting her head and wondered if she was day dreaming, she could have swore that was... it was! She smiled, not being able to contain the joy which was painted on her lips.

She finished the drink in her hand, putting the cup on a table and rushing across the room in his direction. She put her hands over his eyes and pulled him back into a awkward hug. "Guess who?" She asked with a small smile resting her head on his shoulder, he still felt the same, so warm. It had been some time since she had last seen him and the fact he was here lifted her heart. She had missed him dearly...

So much had happened and she was sure he had just as many stories to tell her. Tonight had just got a whole lot better.

Huang had been so tied with battling Bataar, to gaining information on his mother that he had yet to see his honorary little sister of Sorts Sara's graduation. It panged him to know that she was grown now, and yet he felt a sense of relief. She was proving herself to be a woman to look out for, in more ways then one.

It was by pure chance that he had come to the same bar as she, he was looking for more information the rumor that he had gotten, slowly by slowly he was starting to get mountains of evidence piled against his mother in the allegations of her crimes against the Legions. It was thorough hard work for the Assassin who had to manage that, battling and leading a small group of the Lee's legion assassin's against the noble's armies. Was it any wonder he wanted a break?

Though he wasn't fond of alcohol, he had come to the bar with the hopes to rest his mind at ease. His body tensed dangerously as his eyes were blinded by someone's hands, his own hands instantly went to his belt in case of an enemy attack when he heard a familiar voice. Though it was deeper with a more seductive tone to it, Huang remembered it fondly and smiled. The last time he had seen Sara was when she was still a student.

"Lady Sara,, playing a dangerous game with your former guardian aren't you?" He reached up to remove her eyes before turning to face her. His breath caught as he saw her and smiled so broadly, "You look gorgeous Little Sara." She had grown into her beauty now donning the attire of a true priestess. Though she was flushed in the face, probably from drinking, she exuded a regal kindness. He had kept tabs on her, to make sure she was safe in her life and was still mad at himself for the attack that had happened by the Noble Cais.

Brushing his hand over the hair that covered one half of her face, he saw the scars before sighing. "I am sorry I wasn't there for you." He gestured to them before looking away, he felt guilty it was true, but that was neither her nor there and he wouldn't diminish seeing her again by bringing up old scars. (no pun intended)

"If you aren't entangled with someone already, I would like to steal you? I am afraid that we have much to catch up on and well..."
Huang hesitated before shrugging, "It has not been the same in the Lee household since you left. Come sit with me Lady Sara." he gestured to a table and ordered a light drink.

She scoffed hearing about the danger of her so called actions. "You would never hurt me." She chuckled looking down at him, she could see in his eyes that he had not changed much, still bright and welcoming. She smiled and then put a hand on the bar, lifting herself to sit on it, one of her legs crossing over the other. She grabbed her hair and pulled it over her shoulder in a large swoop before playing with the long teal threads. She smirked and looked down at him, tapping her foot lightly to a random rhythm.

She flushed a bit and chuckled sweetly when complimented. "T-thank you. A lot of people have been saying that lately, it seems as soon as a girl comes of age everyone wants to know you, too bad I am already claimed... I think... Maybe. Meh." She shrugged, holding out her hand as the bar man gave her another drink. Sara was a lot more relaxed when slightly tipsy, well we say slightly. She was all smiles and her confidence got a boost too which was a good thing, to say usually she had none. She wondered how life would be if she was like this all the time. She did not think her and Bat would get along as well, then again he had never seen her like this. It would probably scare him...

She looked at him and blinked when he moved her hair, that was Bataar's trick. It felt strange coming from someone else, Bat thought she was pretty, even with the scars. He insisted to see her whole face, she wondered why almost felt like she was cheating letting someone else do it. She missed him... Though she was with Huang, this was a time for happiness! "Are you kidding me, you should have seen what I did to him." She winked taking a drink, there was no need for him to feel bad, it was her own stupidity which caused them after all. There was nothing he could have done, it was silly to feel responsible."Besides I think it adds charm, scars are the new black. Some people actually find them attractive. Then again I am sure if you look hard enough you will find people who have some pretty strange fetishes." She nodded, reaching down and putting a hand on the side of his face, playing with a strand of his hair near his fin.

She looked over to the other side of the room, towards the teenagers she had come with. "Yea, I am only here with some students. Though I do not think they want their teacher ruining their reputation any more than she already has. Kids - If I am not cool enough to be at their table, I shall just sit here with the most handsome man in the bar." She rolled her eyes, she was cool enough to be seen with. All the masters were so old and wrinkly, you would have thought they would like having a curvaceous young teacher. She chuckled and put her drink down by her side. "How has life been for you? It has been quite a while hasn't it?"

Huang smiled again at her and patted her on the head. "Of course not, Though I might've reached for my weapon, part of me will always register that it is you Little Sara." He continued to use the pet name, though he wasn't to sure why. Especially since he wasn't one for them. It just seem to suit Sara for him. Though not so little now, she had of course grown anyways.

"We'll have to be careful now won't we? Don't want the wrong boys sniffing around."
Huang would have to set up measures then, he wouldn't....limit the boys she would meet, just make a few of them disappear, especially ones with bad records or seemed to cause her harm...or got too friendly...or stared at the wrong thing on her body. Huang could feel danger residing in him and tucked it down. He had to remember that while he considered her a sister, it didn't mean he had the same rights as her "blood" brothers did. If need be, he would sit on the sidelines, and if she got hurt well...accidents happened everyday. "Though it is true, you are a jewel among the ruff." He smiled softly at her before perking up, "A love interest already Sara? Would I happen to know him?" Information...would be your best friend, especially if was from a person directly involved.

"I hope you gave him a good thrashing then."
Huang, If he ever met Cais, would probably finish the job if he could. He would hate the boy for nothing more then harming his sister. But it was another outlet for the stress and grief he had caused himself over worrying about her. He chuckled at her enthusiasm before waving his hand, "I see that Yue has been rubbing off on you Lady Sara. Your brightness shines almost as bright as hers." Huang nodded his head at Sara. Much like Yue, both girls were kind and strong, happy and generally pleasing to be around. He was happy to be blessed by the two of them after all the bad experiences he had with women anyways. "Strange Fetishes eh? Scars are not uncommon though with the war going on, its almost as if it would be strange not to see you without one." He winked at her and then touched his one large scar. Thanks to Bataar, he had one that would stick out if Huang ever decided to strip down.

"Kids are odd are they not?" He fondly looked over to them, thinking of his and Jianyu's students before waving his hand at her compliment, scoffing. "You are amidst a humble worker for the Legions Little Sara, hardly the most handsome man around." He flushed again before sipping his drink, "It has not been well Little Sister." Huang shook his head, "I have received terrible reports that will bring a change to my family...." Huang shook his head, "But that is neither here nor there. This is a happy moment. Tell me about yourself? My spies happen to lose information about you after the incident with Cais, and because of dealing with my own...problem, I was unable to come see you? How have you fared?"

"I can take care of myself, as strange as it sounds I am not as helpless as I used to be." She smiled, placing her hand on the rod she kept by her side. Odval had taught her more than dances and songs, Sara knew how to defend herself if need be. It made it easier to walk the streets alone and had given her the independence she craved. She knew Huang would always worry about her, he was her brother afterall, yet she wanted him to trust that she could stand on her own two feet. She was not a student anymore.

When Yue was brought up she could not help but to laugh a little. "I would not go that far, Yue is bright all the time. She does not need the assistance of drink to be so bold. Though admittedly it is her fault I do this in the first place, you can not be the taste tester without slowly gaining a taste for the drink itself." She had not been able to spend much time with Yue lately, however that was something she was planning to remedy as soon as the honeymoon period had ended. She was sick of getting into trouble on her own, it was just not as much fun. She was up for another one of their adventures, infact is she was here now, she would be willing to go on one this very second.

She eyes saddened when he explained the problems in his family, she had no doubt that wicked mother of him was involved, something told Sara that she was bad news - a conduit was always a good judge of character, or so she thought. "I am sorry, I know that you will get threw it though. Nothing can bring down the rising star of my play, right? As for me, life has been interesting, everything is happing so fast, the graduations, the increased number of injuries coming to the temple, Yue's wedding..." Was she okay? Or was she just too busy to notice something was wrong? She had been though a lot lately, life seemed to be rushing by out of control. Though it was frightening, she found herself loving every moment. She would not change anything, though things have not been easy, something told her they were not meant to be.

She blushed slightly as her so called lover was brought up, Huang had trusted her with his secret, so she saw no reason why she should not trust him with hers. "I do not think you would. He is a Captain... A Noble Captain - Mongolian like me and lot taller than I am, I mean he is like a mountain if it sprouted legs - I have never seen someone as large as he is , but despite his size he is really kind and protective. He has really handsome green eyes too. I think you too would get on, maybe one day you could meet him - Though for the time being we are taking things slow, I do not think I should be telling you about him, but on the other hand how could I keep anything from my brother?" She asked taking another drink, she did not really know how he would react. Though if there was anyone who could not comment about taking a Noble for your lover, it was Huang himself.

"I know you can protect yourself but..." Huang sighed, frowning, "But I will always consider myself your guardian." Huang smiled again softly as he looked at her before shaking his head, "I will always be there for when you need me after all."

"Yue is indeed very bright girl, and yet, you can't help but smile regardless if she is here or not." He smiled again as he poked Sara's cheek, "Just look how your face grew with happiness." Huang laughed before pulling his hand away, "Ah but, Drink makes Yue even bolder. Though actually, I have never seen Lady Yue with a drink. It seems almost that she is just that way naturally." Huang nodded as he sipped his drink before waving his hand at her. "I am still not too fond of the drink but, I am gaining a affection for the wheat ale's." He nodded.

"Increased numbers of injuries? Well we are in the heat of a war." He sighed and then stared, "Yes Jianyu's wedding, Graduations, Battles, Missions. Ahhhh." he tapped the table and closed his eyes, "It is just not so pleasing."

He watched her blush and felt a jealous but protective urge rise up. He didn't see her in anything but a sisterly way, This was true but, to know that another man had her affections was....weird. He frowned at his thoughts and waved them away.

As he listened though, he tried to build the mysterious man and continued to frown. His mind was influenced by alcohol as well so what he saw, he was trying to make sense of. Green eyes, Large as a mountain, Captain....and a Mongolian. A noble Captain Mongolian. Huang only knew of one such man and he had to set his drink down in fear of crushing the glass in his hand.

"Sara...." Huang's voice had gone deathly quiet as he smiled at her, his tone and smile didn't match up at all. "The man...Is his name Bataar?" Huang cocked his head, still smiling. The description, it fit the other man so well.

Sara watched him and something deep down told her that he had changed. He just did not seem to be giving off the same warm aura she was accustomed to, instead he felt cold, annoyed and slightly frustrated. The look in his eyes, the tone of his voice, even the way he lowered his glass, all the little signs were screaming out to her, telling her to shut up. “No.” She stated in a voice a little higher than he usual one, Sara was the worst liar Lunaria had ever seen, what made it worse was the fact that she knew that as well as the next person. She gave a nervous chuckle as a bead of sweat danced down her forehead. “I mean…. Do you know him?” She asked, of course he knew him, he would not have stated his name if he did not. She felt her throat go dry, maybe a change in conversation would be welcomed!

Maybe telling him was not such a good idea, he might be her brother, however he was also a fighter, what if him and Bataar had met in combat? It would be hard for him to see the sweet side she did if the large Mongol had ever tried to remove his head. She thought he of all people would understand, however it seems like she was wrong. The whole world was set against the idea, she had nobody in her corner, giving her their blessing… it was so frustrating at times.

She cleared her throat and drunk another cup in one to bring her some confidence. “Anyway, enough about me and my scandals. I am sure you have better things to concern yourself with.” She wafted her hand hoping that would be the last word on the matter, however something told her that it was just the beginning.

Huang didn't notice that he had scared Sara with his look for he wasn't the one looking at him. In his mind, he was a calm rage, something that was very rare in any person. On the outside he looked like a smiling drunk with dangerous eyes. Only those close to him actually knew what was going inside him. A point proven in fact when Sara lied. He continued to stare at her as she shifted uncomfortably before spitting out the truth.

"I see. So you do know him." Huang pushed back in his chair before cracking his knuckles. The few drinks he had shared with Sara had begun to effect his moral mindset and had him wanting to punch the man. He was using Sara. So many horrible assumptions raised in his head as he thought of what Bataar did to Sara and it made him sick and caused the worry he felt turn into rage and rage into ridiculous assumptions. His final decision? Kill Bataar for real now.

"Actually Sara, I just had something dire come up. I need to go see a "friend" about a situation I have found myself in."
Huang got up from his chair before reaching down to pat Sara on the head, "Sorry to cut this meeting so short little sister. But I think your students are starting to get riled up as well." He smiled softly now at her, before waving. "I'll see you soon though Little Sister. I am not worried about the choices you make." Huang gave her a reassuring smile that masked the potentially dangerous feelings rising in him. He would go to Bataar and see just how the other man felt about Sara. And he if he didn't prove himself well then, Huang was going to kill him for real. Well if Huang didn't kill him already. "I know Bataar intimately though Little Sara, so remember when I say this too you." Huang was at the door now before he looked at her, "Not all the faces people show are the true ones. I only want whats best for you, even if it seems unfair to you." Huang still effected by the drink spoke boldly to her before waving his hand, "I love you like you we're of my own blood Sara, I will not see you hurt." He nodded before disappearing into the night. His blood screamed for a battle with Bataar, he would quench the thirst now.
