Roch stood at the entrance of the Reaper Dorm, typing on his phone quickly, as he glanced around to make sure no one else was up. The last thing he wanted was for someone to follow them. He pressed send, the light from the phone glowing eerily in the darkened room. They had been planning this for a while, even if he hadn't found a singer. He would just have to sing for them, he thought, glancing around. Besides, the less people sneaking out for this, the better. They were less likely to get caught.

Rikki was up as he always was in the later hours. He'd been thumbing through a magezine when his phone lit up a doot dooted him, making him jump a little. The message was the most exciting two words the boil had seen in a few days. He jerked his black hoodie over his head, grabbed a draw-string back-pack and flew out the door. He practically leaped down the stairs, landing softly on the balls of his feet and keeping an eye out through the hallways. When he reached Roch, he nodded his head and motioned him out the door silently.

Roch glanced around one last time, then headed out, a little grin of excitement playing on his lips. He refused to speak until they reached the borders of the school grounds, keeping a wary eye out for anyone that might snitch on them. "Alright," he said as soon as they were on the path that led to town. "You got your sticks, I got my guitar. Couldn't find a singer, which sucks, but hell, I don't want to drag more people into this."
He hadn't even told Mot that he was going back tonight. Maybe that was stupid, considering-- "Oh, and cute ghoulfriend," he added with an evil grin.

Rikki had no problem keeping quiet until they were nearly out of the school campus. There was no desire to meet the principal again in the boil. "So you're going to sing?" He raised his brows, unable to recall ever hearing the boil sing before. He could picture it though. He just hoped that this didn't mean the drummer would have to sing too. Doing it for Danny was enough.
He stopped dead, shocked for a moment. He stood there for long enough that he had to do a little jog to catch back up with Roch. "Wait, you met Lil?" How come he hadn't heard this before now? This was important information!

"Cute lil blonde reaper ghoul? Has suspenders?" Roch said with an evil grin. "Yep, I met her. She came to watch me and Demi play. Has a thing for Spanish beats," he added. "You play for her often?" he asked. She had seemed quite interested in musicians, which he wasn't sure was a good thing or not for the other boil.
He glanced up at the moon as they headed down the path, wondering if he shouldn't have sent word that they were coming to the casino. Nah. He figured they'd be there long enough to earn some cash and leave.

Rikki shoved the boil in the shoulder with a bit of a pout. 'Yeah, that's her. Keep your eyes off her, man." He shrugged and crossed his arms as he walked, smiling a bit at the thought of her. "I don't know if she knows how much I play. We haven't really had many conversations about it." He'd have to try playing for her now that Roch mentioned it. He still wasn't quite used to the idea of people actually enjoying him playing.
"So where's this place at?" The further the way, the better honestly. He had no intentions of spending the majority of his night back in his dorm.

"It's this creepy gambling hall in the basement of this big building in town," Roch said, seeing the town in the distance. The maul was the biggest draw there, but he was heading to the area past it, where Mot had led him before. It would take a while longer to get there, but he kept the same pace.
"But hey... You sure you wanna do this?" he asked abruptly. "Cute ghoulfriend might be worried, man."

Rikki snorted and shook his head. "Oh come on, did I ever hesitate to do anything before you knew I had a ghouldfriend? No? Didn't think so. I'm in this man, and we're going to rock the hell out of this gambling all of yours." He adjusted the strap of his bag and ruffled the reaper's purple hair with a chuckle.
"You brought me into this, and you're not kicking me back out that easily. Where else are you going to find a drummer?"

"In the want bads!" Roch said. "Nah, but I'm serious when I tell you we could die," he added lightly. "This place, it ain't the guys in the front that are terrifying, even if they might look it. No, there's this room in the back that Mot almost got us killed in. We're talkin' reapers and demons that--well, we'll just avoid the back room, okay?"
He thought back to that poker game in the back, mentally comparing it to the poker game he'd tossed and shaking his head with amusement.

He was practically skipping along in his excitement. It was like every word Roch spoke just did more to increase how badly he wanted to play in this hall and experience it for himself. He could practically feel the badass vibe already. If he were Demi, he might drool in happiness.
"Alright, avoiding the back room. Reapers, and demons, and monsters, oh my," he chuckled. "Any other rules for me, Mom? Do I have to hold your hand when we cross the stage?"

"Well, when they start throwing tables be sure to duck," Roch said. "And if anyone breaks a glass bottle as a weapon, duck then, too, because the idiot will probably have no clue how to do it right--"
They had reached the town and were heading through it under dimly lit and often flashing street lamps. He seemed to know where he was going, though, and the gleaming red eyes in the shadows didn't do anything--other than one of them might have waved at them.

"Implying you do know how to do it right?" He raised a brow as the passed figures that seemed a little more menacing than he would have liked. Roch seemed fine - wait, did he just get waved at? - and Rikki was buzzing with so much energy that he wouldn't have minded some trouble.
"I take it you're actually expecting some sort of fight to break out?" It didn't sound like it would be unusual, at least. Maybe he'd get to kick someone's a**.

"Unno," Roch admitted. "But it's always better to be prepared!" He was only there for the cash. He headed around a corner to the entrance of the casino, looking at the large were that stood in front of the door. "Hey, man, can we play tonight?"
The werewolf towered over them in half form, his lips curled back for a second as he sniffed. Then, a bit surprisingly, he stepped out of the way, motioning for the boils to go in.

Whoa. They definitely weren't in Amityville anymore. Rikki blinked up at the were and grinned, leaning back slightly as the monster leaned forward. He had nothing against monsters, but he knew when to avoid inhaling someone else's breath, and this would be one of those times.
As the were suddenly let them in, Rikki tilted toward Roch and muttered, "I wonder if adults know about breath mints." Evidence pointed toward the negative. Just in case weres really did have super-hearing though, Rikki slipped in the door before Roch.

Roch choked and shoved him forward to get away from the were. "Don't get us killed before we get paid," he hissed in the other boil's ear, only to blow it by laughing. The stairs leading down into the room were dark, so was the room they walked into, but this time there was someone on their stage.
He stared blankly at the scantily dressed woman, his jaw dropping open as she danced with the pole. "I... don't remember the pole," he said after a long moment.
