So, I just re-watched the Underworld Trilogy and I found it as epic as when I first watched them.
I want your guys opinions and thoughts. biggrin Please, don't cause a riot, just some friendly banter.

i don't think i've even seen all of them, and whichever one i have seen, it must have only been once. i have nothing against them, though. i'll have to make a point of watching them when i get the chance.
isn't bill nighy in them? he's the vampire dad, isn't he? or maybe i'm thinking of someone completely different.

Seen the first one three times, the second one twice, and the third one once. (Which is funny in a numbers kind of way, right? 1 = 3, 2 = 2, 3 = 1. Anyone? No?) I've been really hankering to watch 'em all again, but I only own the first two. I really liked them. Probably in my top... 25 movies? Top 50, for sure. I'm excited the fourth one.
What I thought was funny was: I went to the third movie with a friend, and more than halfway through it, she turns to me in the theater and says, "Wait. I'm confused. That's Selene, right?" Which of course, as we all know, it was not. This was funny, because a year or two earlier, I'd gone to see Doomsday with the same friend, which has the same actress as the third Underworld, and she'd confused her with Kate Beckinsale in that movie, too.

I just recently bought the series and watch them, it's a great series, when's the forth one coming out?

Fourth one comes out... 20 January 2012, it looks like.
Yeesh, she's once again in THE SAME OUTFIT. I thought they might give her something new by now! Then again, if they pick right up where the second one left off like they did with the last sequel, it makes sense... Except, you know, after the events of the first and second movies, that outfit would be trashed.

It was alright I suppose. I've seen (much) better. Definitely not something I would pay for but not something I would absolutely refuse to watch again.

The first one was completely awesome, and then it dropped off with Evolution... The series had so much potential, and they blew it. The sequel should have been the prequel, explaining the hybrid in the past, and then they could have explained the beginning of the war. But they had to go for the sensational, over-the-top, superfluous sequel that I, personally, thought could have been soooooo much better.

The Underworld franchise isn't that high on my list of most favourite movies, but it's decent, and pretty cool enough to keep me from getting bored halfway through. I'm looking forward to the fourth instalment! heart
