That's what I was saying. There's no way to "join" this group. "Joining" is just attending the events.

I attend tons of protests. But we don't consider ourselves a group of people. We just invite people to go protest. Anonymous is just a way to get people to know about the protest events; it's not some special group.

Alright, now for the main course...

I believe your topic is a little saddening. Mostly because you are not even using the real goal behind anonymous. Anonymous isn't about peace and love. Sure, you can be a member and support that but the whole goal of anonymous itself is disabling censorship and allowing the flow of information by any means.

Second, although I support the many things by Anonymous such as the battle against Scientology and saving wikileaks, It's not that special of a group. Anonymous is more like a blanket to hide people that do the heavy s**t and do some good things. However, there isn't the ability to rule the world through the internet even though Anonymous does contain some of the greatest hackers out there.
