Holly had way to much going on. From difficulties with boils, or a single boil to be precise, to school work, adding on the making a place with Levi was a lot. But of course the tree house was loads more fun than dealing with all of that. Especially since that certain boil decided to apologize although she was sure how to feel about that exactly yet. She pushed that thought aside for the moment and decided to think on something that did not give her a head ache.

A few weeks ago, her and Levi had decided to construct a tree house. For the ghost that only had the one place to live for her afterlife, until after she finished school of course, it was an exciting idea to have an alternative place to go sometimes. Okay, well Levi was going to do most of the planning and construction but Holly was there to help in anyway possible. She had helped collect things for the most part and they were getting close to actually starting. In fact they were going to be meeting again really soon. Which brought her to what she was about to do in a few moments. They had decided that they would need some sort of guard. It would not be that safe to just leave that place unguarded. Sure there would be traps and what not around it but what if someone did make it all the way up to it? Neither of them could settle for that so both were looking for a suitable guard, or guards if they found them.

She had first thought of a few minipets of hers that could fit that bill but they all had some little quirk that made it hard to settle on. Some of her pets were way to dependent on her so they were out, the pet could be on it’s own for days possibly. It would be best for the pet to be able to get up and down that tree if it could. Something that was sneaky could be good and it would need to be smart. One of her top choices had been a bakeneko pet she had come to acquire. The bakeneko had been known to be a decent climber, sneaky and smart. Well, this one had some problems since it had liked to run off with things of hers. That time it took her pin hadn’t been fun at all. The ghoul sighed as she thought of that time and stared at the bakeneko in front of her.

Luckily Holly had come across a few of these creatures and one of her more recently grown ones was just like the other but wasn’t know to run off with things. Kusuri would have to do then and she hoped that it being away from it’s mischievous sibling would prove good for it.

Kusuri looked at the ghoul in front of it and tilted it’s head. Holly looked back. ”Okay, Kusuri, look at me.” The creature had looked away for a moment but turned it’s head back when it was spoken to. Good. ”I’m giving you a very important job okay? Only you can do this because Jack knows none of the other’s are as smart as you.” It was then she hoped minipets could actually understand their owners. Kusuri started to purr at the mention of smart. She took that as a good sign. ”Me and my friend, Levi,” Yeah like the bakeneko even knew who that was... ”have this secret place that you are going to help and guard okay? You get to be left all on your own and do whatever, within reason, you like.” Thinking, they’d have to leave plenty of food for her too. ”Within reason too, you can play tricks on anyone that isn’t me, my friend Levi, or anyone else we say. It’ll be up to you to make sure that if anyone gets past the first defenses, that they don’t get in.” Holly looked at Kusuri again who licked her paw and tilted her head to look at her owner. Yeah. Totally understood.

She sighed and silently prayed to Jack this was going to work. The ghoul looked to her other bakeneko who was currently trying to eat ... something. Yep it was this one or nothing. ”They would have to climb to get to ya okay?” Again Kusuri just stared at her. ”Just don’t severely injure anyone. That would be very bad okay?” Very bad if someone got really hurt because of her minipet. Some students couldn’t die on the account of already being dead but others could still die. ”I wonder if I could teach you how to raise and lower a rope.” Kusuri gave her a strange look. ”Or not...”

Any way this would have to work. She hadn’t a clue how Levi’s pets were but this was the best she had. Hopefully that would be enough.
