All elements used to work as one. Dark. Light. Fire. Water. Earth. Air. The eyes in the first post are the eye colors of each element, it's the main way to distinguish between each element. You don't have to have a picture with the eye color of your specific element, but it is implied that if you are a fire element, you will have orangered eyes and likewise for the other elements.
They were all different races, in a way, because of their control over different elements. Dark controlled the shadows, while light could manipulate light to their advantage... fire played with flames, water could control any water to their every desire, earth could make the ground move under their feet... and air, air dictated the winds. But one day, this all changed.
War broke out. The elements couldn't stand each other anymore. Dark's biggest enemy was light, fire hated water, earth wanted to destroy air, and vice versa with each element. Even though they have there biggest enemies, overall, every element basically hates every other element... for not really much of a reason.
War has been going on for about 10 years now and the younger generations of elements are getting sick of it. A select few of them just want this whole thing to be over. But then again, there's also a group of the younger generation that are all for war... and all for their own kind.

1) Abide by the TOS at all times.
2) Romance is allowed. Actually encouraged. I want this to not just be all fighting, I want it to be life in war time. Every moment isn't going to be action. There will be love, relationships, friendships, etc.
3) No cybering. Clothes come off = time skip.
4) No auto hits or god modding. No killing without the other person's permission.
5) There are 12 spots in this roleplay, 6 males, 6 females, and 6 elements. There will be one male and one female from each element. One will be the type who is very for the war and very proud of their element, while the other will be one who is very sick of the war and thinks everyone should just get along.
6) You may play a max of two characters.

Appearance : Look to your right, I have tanned skin and red orange eyes, like all those of the element fire. I have a tattoo like this on my left side and one like this, as well as one of flames behind her right ear. I also have a large sized scar on my right shoulder, a small scar on my left eyebrow, and a few other insignificant scars. Insignificant doesn't exactly mean they are all small, it just means they don't matter as much. They're just battle scars.
Short Bio : I grew up with a mother, father, and older brother that were all very devoted fire element warriors. They were all great warriors, great with manipulating fire... just like me. But unfortunately, they absolutely hated everyone who wasn't a fire elemental. I couldn't understand the hatred, actually, I never really even understood the point of the war. I am devoted to my people, my element, but I don't like the idea of senseless hatred. The hate was given motivation and reason when my family died off, one by one, however. My mother - killed by a water elemental. My father - killed by an air elemental. And my brother, the one I was closest too - killed by a dark elemental. These three elements are the ones I holds the most hatred for, because for once, I have a reason.

Appearance : My picture's to the right so obviously I'm a tallish guy with short brown hair and usually chocolate brown eyes. What makes me stand out among them is my metalic eye change when I use my abilities or get angry. I have a large tatoo on my side and a lot of scars in various place on my body. Mostly noticed one is the largest across my abdomen from a tipped whip.
Short Bio : I was born into a family who was very pro war, so I grew up thinking the war was all fun and just a part of life. I didn't question it at all especially since I would get beaten by my father if I did. Quickly, I became someone without mercy and would kill just about anyone who threatened me or my baby sister. I was taken though from my family after a group attack on the air elementalist. It was decently sucessful until I was captured for a few nights before escaping and now on my own again since I have no sense of direction to find anything.

Appearance : I am a girl of natural curls, silver eyes, and light skin color. I don't show of any tattoos or scars since most of mine have faded into non exsistance.
Short Bio : Ever since I was six, my parents tought me the importance of fighting in self defence, not in greed or anger. I don't like this war going on and I never did. Having an ability that really only stands strong twelve hours in the day made my family of two very scared a lot leaving us to stay with one of my elementary school friends. My parents tried to give me a normal life, but when a group of dark warriors attacked us in the middle of the night, I was left only with one of my best friends. Despite what my mom told me, I pretty much now fought to get revenge only against the Darkness and keep myself safe on my own with my half husky-half wolf mutt at my side named: Aragon.
