She'd wondered what became of the dragon boil after prom. After checking in with the boil, knowing his groanspring, she'd found out that Jericho had to take Riley out of the building as she was a bit under the weather. Indeed- the mindflayer was going through quite a few moods that night.
Levi hoped the ghoul was doing fine, but felt she had to be a pretty rough ghoul to be head of a fitness club. Ain't a ghouly ghoul. Just a spell, I reckon. It hadn't occurred to the tatzel that boils were customarily meant to walk their prom partners back, so she thought Jericho was just feeling ungentlemanly about it- or something like that?
Dressed in a casual demin shorts and shirt combo, the ghoul stuck her hands into her pockets and leaned up against the wall just within the main doors of monster dorm, rustling around the contents. If they were to leave the campus grounds, Jericho would have to show up here at some point. In the meantime, she took out a small piece of wood and a rustic looking pocket knife, proceeding to whittle the piece into a not-so-random triangular shape.

Jericho hadn't forgotten what he told Levi, though the coming events after Prom had him a little busy at times. Especially with the whole... going home and then going on a quest and dealing with all other sorts of fun things. But time struck up and he managed to ping Levi a note on Groanspring.
So today, also dressed casually, though he did have his gauntlet on, he made his way to the ground floor of the monster dorm, where he spotted the tatzel waiting around. They hadn't actually set up a meeting spot, so this worked out pretty well.
"Hey Levi!" he greeted while waving to the girl, "Ah.. you weren't waiting long were you?"

As another sliver of wood reached the ground, Levi realized she'd gone and whittled down the wood into a small candy corn without really realizing it. The chips at her feet betrayed her words. Aye, nope. Hadn't been waiting' too long none.
The dragon looked a bit different somehow- then a lightbulb went off. Ya got some new locks, I see. She smirked, just waiting to hear what way he'd interpret this observation. Some boils took offense to physical commentary back home, and the ghoul had always thought it to be pretty comical watching them get bent out of shape. Looking down at the boil's arm, her eyes then locked onto the gauntlet and she put away her pocket knife. With one hand, which still held the wooden candy between her palm and thumb, she slowly moved inward instinctively to tap at it.
Whooo eeee~ This is soooome glove ya got 'ere! Dangit, boil! What'll ya'll reds make this 'ere thing outta? ...Mighty fiiiine piece 'a work...
Her fingers touched the surface by her nails with a clink clink!

"You could say that," Chuckled Jericho with an amused grin. He had undergone a few physical changes over the past month or so after all. Though, what amused him a little more was the way Levi reacted regarding his shiny new gauntlet.
"Not sure if a Red forged the original one, but it was Riley who fixed it up. It's made out of brightsteel... a fairly rare metal," he explained. He wasn't going to really go too indepth on the material. There was no point in trying to fetch more of that stuff with that crazy Illithid staking out there after all.
"I'd say Riley did an excellent job of restoring the gauntlet, if not making it better," he grinned, "Anyway, you all set to head on out? We can talk on the way there."

Ya don't say...
Her eyes grew a bit wider while moving this way and that in close proximity to the gauntlet, interested in how he got it on. So Riley'd been the one, eh? She nodded with a smiling approval at this new information; a ghoul had forged it.
Yep; she'd been right about her. Riley was a rough ghoul. Of course, tatzel's didn't wear much in their natural forms, but she'd obviously seen her family wear bracelets and things while in their small forms so- she now had to wonder if there was any such thing hiding in her town. huh
Yep! She grinned back at him. Ready as a goldin' pie in tha' oven. She allowed Jericho to lead the way but kept at his side in healthy strides. She liked eye scream. Even if she did only know one flavor - candy corn. Anythin' ya'll are known fer makin'? We make 'a whole lot'a things ourselves back home, but nothin' near as fancy 's that.
Sure, Jericho said his kin hadn't potentially made the original gauntlet, but Levi couldn't help enquiring about his heritage and home. After all her Gran's stories, it was like discovering a new part of your own history- but not really.

Smiling, Jericho went on out, holding the door for Levi before making his way towards the Scarecade where he knew the eyescream parlor was right next to. There were a few others he knew of, but that one was the closest that he was aware of. They had a pretty good variety of flavors too for that matter, so it seemed to be a pretty ideal choice to go.
"Hm... not particularly. I mean there have been some pretty good, notable blacksmiths, but we just kinda... find or take a lot of the things we have," he explained.
"There's probably other individuals who are good at making certain things, but as a species... nothing really in particular."

Now that he'd mentioned it, she had seen the collections piled high in his room. Her kin didn't keep treasure piles as far as she knew. Then again- she'd already discovered a few things she wasn't aware of about her kin so- who was to say some didn't have stashes of goodies locked up in their barns?
Idly just following along, Levi found herself in an area she hadn't visited before. She glanced at the various stores and buildings, reminded of her outing with Jove and Lizzy. Truly, shopping for things outside her town was much easier. Even eyescream was just a walk away; no waiting for it to chill or anything!
Placing her hands at her hips, she smirked with a side glance at Jericho. Now- don't tell me ya'll just fight fer what ya want n' take the rewards fer yerselves! Ain't no fun in that, m'sure...
Levi'd have no problems taking on other fighters and getting a few perks out of it. She looked forward again, dropping her hands, with her tail swishing behind her. We're pretty off tha' grid fer things back home, far as tatzels go. Make most 'a what we got. Eyescream too.

Jericho let out a chuckle at Levi's statement.
"Well, we do sometimes. But a lot of the treasures we get now come from old tombs and dungeons. The days of full-scale town and village raids are pretty long gone. Ever since the great dragon war way back," he said, "That isn't to say that some poor sap or group of wanderers might not fall victim, however."
Grinning, he tilted his head, wondering what homemade eyescream was like.
"You guys made your own eyescream? What was that like?"

Well, 'sides all the ingredients bein' right thar fresh, we mix in our crop with'it. The process was likely how any old place made it, she figured, but the difference is what her town put in it. We crush up some candy corn n' mix in till it'sa orange color n' then put more in whole. Ya git a smooth n' crunchy mix; really hits tha spot when yer feel in' in tha mood fer something' chilly, ya know what'a mean? Or perhaps chillier when you're already up in the foggy mountains. She smiled when she said this and tilted her head slightly like she was looking for an answer.
Then what Jericho had mentioned all clicked in- dragon war. A GREAT dragon war. Hold on a sec -'ere. Gran ain't never told me 'bout no war.
...
aye,... were there any gold dragons in'it, ya think? She couldn't help but ask. The gold dragon from the tatzel folklore had been key figure in her town finding their beloved crop. Were there more of its kind around? Was Jericho perhaps knowledgeable of this kin?

"That sounds pretty damn tasty actually," Jericho mused while trying to imagine the process. He had to wonder how homemade eyescream compared to the store-bought stuff.
"Think you could make that here?" he asked.
At the mention of gold dragons, his eyes narrowed some.
"Yeah, there were golds alright. You could say they were leading the metallics. The reds were more or less leading the chromatics. It was a pretty bloody mess, the whole thing, and there's still some bad blood between the sides. All that over some territory and ethics issues."

She had to think about all the ingredients first, going over them list a checklist in her head before responding back to his question. Well sure, could make a sort- but might not come'out as smooth on 'account 'a the different tools I got back at tha dorm.
It was like the home variant of industrial sized tools- everything back home was just bigger and required more force to use. These smaller kitchen items weren't going to produce the exact same product, and Levi knew it from her baking attempts thus far.
Her eyes widened with curiosity and awe at this new information. Did this mean golds and reds were enemies? What was tha war like? Why'd they go n' start any who? Treasures? ...n' so reds n' golds...they weren't friendly, I'd wager? His expression alone would merit this conclusion but- perhaps they weren't anymore? What were the various types doing now?
So many questions the white haired ghoul had, and she wanted to just pick at Jericho about them all. So how are they all now- I mean- ...reds n' golds n' all the chromatics n' metallics? Eh- ...it'sa bit of'a curiosity a mine. Don't know much 'bout other dragon sorts outside 'a us. Jericho definitely knew more overall about the varieties of dragons and their history.

Jericho paused for the moment as they reached the eyescream parlor. He opened the door for the Tatzel to let her in before entering himself.
"Chromatic and metallic rivalry dates back several thousand years. Not really sure what started it but that's how things been. There had been smaller conflicts here and there but that war was the biggest recorded thing really," he explained while glancing over the menu of flavors.
"Chromatics had more of a... darker reputation and past you could say. We took what we wanted and did whatever regardless of the consequences. The metallics didn't exactly like that. They'd try to get in the way of the chromatic's antics if they were around. The first stone was cast when a red by the name of Talek went to raid one of the larger towns within a silver's territory, looking to claim it. The silver had been anticipating it and had called on some of her brethren to fend off Talek."
Jericho paused, frowning at this.
"Er... why don't we order our eyescream quick? I can continue while we're eating. It's on me by the way," he nodded, "Just let me know what you want.:

So this was the place? A smile perked on her lips. Looking around at this eyescream parlor, Levi couldn't help but think that this was surely a costly enough place. Judging by her previous outing with Lizzy and Jove along with the vast selection (and amounts) of eyescream sold here...
She tried not to think much about it. Jericho had invited her along for the eyescream, and she didn't want to be thinking about the cost of thing. She really tried. Looking over all the flavors (things she'd never even considered making herself), the tatzel ghoul also payed close attention to Jericho's story about the old dragon feuds. She couldn't help but glance over every once in awhile at the red dragon, noting an expression or two. This was a big thing back then, it seemed, and Jericho's kin were the brutes of the battle.
She had to chuckle just then, despite the frowning red. Speaking, she turned to look over the glass counter again where the actual drums of eyescream were. Sounds ta me like there were some big casualties, eh? That's tha thing 'bout startin' up fights... Always consider the worst case.
She blanked out for a moment after seeing so many flavors she'd like to try. Aye, whaddaya think yer getting'? Got 'a favorite?

"Yeah, there definitely was," Jericho nodded before looking over the flavors, "Well.. the steak flavor was pretty damn good. Lizzy didn't care for it though. But if you like meat, that's a good one. I might try something else this time around though."
Looking over the flavors, he noted candy corn, chili, spider legs, acid lime, and other things.
"Hmm...."

Steak? She looked over to the drum marked "steak" and her eyes glazed over. Never had the ghoul considered using one of her favorites in eyescream form. Well I'll be... If her expression didn't display her interest enough, the wavering of her tail likely did.
Ah- was the limit for one flavor? Levi knew the value of a seed and she didn't want to say anything if Jericho didn't mention it, so she abruptly shut her mouth. Again- the place didn't look to cheap (to her) and asking for more well- that might be taking advantage of his hospitality. Every so often, the ghoul peered into the different eyescream flavors and then looked to Jericho while she pondered her limitation.
Sure do got lots'a good ones... Just then, another label caught her eye. It was beside the chili flavor and said "FLAMING HOTS."
Flamin' hots...
Spicy with something meaty? THAT was an appealing combo to the ghoul. Her ears dropped for just a second when she reminded herself that she was probably limited to one. Realizing the change in her appearance, they perked right back up in attention.
