a group of people meet a few times a week.
they all come from different backgrounds, different families, and different people that brought them there.
However they all have one thing in common... someone caused them to end up in this group therapy. Someone in their life impacted them in a way so great, they couldn't handle it on their own. Somebody, whether it was a mother..a father..a best friend..or a lover was an addict. Some of these people in their lives died from it and others would be better off dead.
No matter who or what brought these people together, they all have come in search of comfort in each other. In complete strangers.
Now, you're offered the advice not to get into entanglements outside of group along with some other friendly advice that they don't want to label as rules. But really, who listens to rules anyway?

We suggest that you:
-Don't associate with one another outside of group. It tends to cause tension and thats exactly what this enviroment is supposed to avoid.
-No drugs/alcohol/etc inside or around the group.
-Attendance is your choice, don't feel that you must attend every meeting. Thats your own descresion.
-Keep this a friendly and open enviroment, without judgement.
-Ears and hearts open. We're here to have shoulders and save lives.
