She had visited Mac with the intention to tell him... A lot of things. However, it ended up with him telling her about a lot of things instead, most of which had happened rather recently. That incident resulted in her poor boilfriend being injured by Shun, and Mot being almost injured by the same boil - furthermore, Mitsu was apparently in a bad shape, judging from Mac's description of Shun's reaction.
Everything was in one big mess.
Sighing softly, she combed her fingers through her hair before using the same hand to knock on Shun's door, finding it difficult to smile; it wasn't anyone's fault - not Mitsu, not Mac, not Shun... Yet, she couldn't help but feel that everyone had a part to play in this drama. Mother was right - you can't change a person overnight, but she was going to try doing that slowly... Even if it would take her over a year.
"Shun, you in?"

Shun had spent the last few hours at Mitsu's place, continuing to settle her down. He didn't regret what he did, as he seldom felt guilt over his actions. If anything, he felt bad that he couldn't do more for the girl. He wanted to pull her out of the little hole she was in now because of all of this, and it frustrated him that he didn't really know how. Back in his room, he was going at it with his guitar, playing a strange sort of tune. He was conflicted and felt a whirlwind of different things, and it was reflected on the notes. Because he was lost in the music for the time, he almost didn't hear Lizzy's voice outside of the door. Pausing, he glanced over and set his guitar down slowly. Getting up, he walked on over and opened his door to see the spider demon standing out there. "Yes?" (( Song))

When there was no answer, she was about to turn to leave, wondering if she should return another day, when she heard something from behind the door. She paused, straining to hear what it was before pressing a ear against the door, now able to recognize the sound as a song being played on a guitar... Wait, Shun had a guitar, right? So he was in!
When the sound stopped, she quickly pushed herself off the door, straightening up and raising a hand in a 'greetings!' gesture when it opened, "What? No greeting? No hello? Hey? Hi?" She forced a smile before sighing, leaning to the side to look past Shun and into his room, "May I come in? We need to talk." Her tone was free from the usual teasing she often laid on Shun, and she looked serious.

"Been a long day," He mumbled while stepping back to let Lizzy in. Whatever was going on, it sounded serious. So in other words, it sounded like his day was about to get longer. How pleasant. As if he didn't already have enough to think about right now... just trying to sort out everything he was feeling.
Might as well lay onto the load, he supposed. That didn't make it any less irritating to deal with.
"So what's going on?" he asked after closing the door and turning towards the spider demon.

"I heard," She replied softly, giving him a pat on his back as she walked in, tossing her boots near the door.
She looked around, spotting the chair at his desk. Walking over, she carried it over and placed it beside his bed instead, sitting down on it and crossing her legs, "Shun, please come here." She gestured at the bed; she really wanted him to lie down, so it would look like a psychologist talking to her patient, but she doubted that Shun would comply - which meant that she'd just have to deal with whatever he chose to do as long as he was on eye level with her.

Shun furrowed his brow at that response. She knew? What did she know exactly? Well, he supposed it either didn't matter much or he was about to find out.
Grimacing, he made his way over and sat down onto his bed, careful to not sit onto his guitar.
"Well?" he asked, not really wanting to repeat his question, but she hadn't answered it the first time he asked. Once he was seated, he crossed his arms, waiting to hear what it was she needed to speak to him about.

"I heard from Mac what happened," She nodded once he was seated, her voice still carrying that serious tone as she sighed, looking away at the wall before turning back to look at Shun again, "He's... Not a terrible person. Just a little mean and thoughtless at times... Then again, you are guilty of the same, Shun."
She paused again, allowing what she had just said to sink in before frowning, "Is your first response to a problem caused by a person to punch them in the face?" She didn't sound upset or angry - just a little exasperated - as she continued, "You punched my boilfriend." It felt odd to call Mac that, but she wasn't in the mood to be bashful today, although there was a faint blush on her cheeks as she continued, "And before that, you threatened to punch a very good friend of mine..." She was of course, referring to Mot.
"Granted, you had a good reason for reacting the way you did," She went on without given him a chance to say anything, "How is Mitsu holding up?"

Grimacing as Lizzy had apparently been filled in by Mac, Shun could only imagine that things had been somewhat skewed as far as perspectives go.
"No. It isn't, but if you push me enough then yeah you could say that," he scoffed while glancing away. There were things he still needed to figure out. He didn't really need Lizzy grilling him on the matter right now.
"She was wearing her mask in her own jack damn room again. What does that tell you?" he hissed lowly, "It's like my work on getting her to gain confidence had just been shattered and throw into a deeper hole."
Sneering at that thought, he let out a huff. It was pretty apparent he was incredibly unhappy about the whole matter.

"Oh? Is that so?" She blinked, staring at Shun even as he looked away; she didn't sound like she doubt his words, but she did sound a little curious... 'Push him enough'? Sure, Mac could be pretty harsh with his words, but... A short pause followed before she spoke again, "Tell me, is this the first time you had lashed out at someone because of someone else?"
In her opinion, it probably doesn't take a lot to 'push Shun enough', so that did not seem like the problem here... There must be something else...
"Shun," She started, giving a soft sigh as she hesitated, getting off her chair to sit on the bed to gently pat him on the head, "I know you care for Mitsu and will probably defend her if I say this, but... I'm afraid that is not entirely Mac's fault. If her confidence could be shattered so easily, then all you had managed to do in the past was just putting up a temporary mask in front of her physical mask."
It made perfect sense in her head.

For a moment, Shun had to think on that. There was that little fight out in town with some of Mitsu's former bullies, but that was more self defense than actually lashing out at them.
"Yes. It is," he said gruffly, "I've never fought for anyone else before. I don't know what got into me but I could not stand it."
Twitching slightly as she patted him on the head, he narrowed his eyes as she continued to speak.
"Oh. Great. So I've done nothing for her then," he sneered, "Well thanks for letting me know how ******** worthless my efforts are then."
Bringing up a hand, he pushed Lizzy's away from him before getting off the bed.

"It's called caring for someone else," She replied softly, resisting the urge to chuckle at how... Clueless he was where emotions were concerned, "I'm curious... Is it only Mitsu? Would you do the same for say... Xiu?" She was sure that the Baku was close to Shun, judging from the nickname she used on him, and the fact that she invited him on a day out during the break.
"That was never my intention," She rubbed her hand with a small frown, turning to look at the boil as he walked away, "All I'm saying is that this might end up being a learning experience for Mitsu. What happened had already happened... What we can do is see if there is anything to take away from all that."

Shun turned around to face Lizzy, thinking on that.
"I don't.. really know," he mumbled, trying to imagine if Xiu had been put in a similar situation, "I don't think I'd want to see her hurt.. but I'm not really sure what I'd do.This is.. kind of new to me."
Shaking his head, he placed his hands into this pockets of his jeans, staring at the spider demon.
"Then what do you suggest I do? Since you seem to be the expert on these things."
Was that a sarcastic remark? It was... really hard to tell.

"I figured..." She muttered before tapping a finger against her chin, looking thoughtful as she hummed; it might need some convincing, but...
"Let's start with figuring out some of your feelings first," She gestured briefly at the reaper, offering him a small smile as she pulled her legs up onto the bed, crossing them Indian-style, "Tell me how you feel about Mitsu... I promise that I will not tell anyone about anything discussed here." It was hard keeping Mitsu's crush from him though... But she did not wish to make things awkward between them.

"How does this have to do with anything?" Shun frowned as he stepped over towards Lizzy again. He didn't sit down just yet, though. The Reaper didn't know what she was trying to get at with this.
"She's a friend. A good one at that. Or do you doubt this?" he asked while narrowing his eyes, "You say it's 'caring for another' but that's a part of this whole friendship deal is it not?"

"Can't help others if you can't help yourself," She simply replied, "Look, I'm not exactly an expert nor do I claim to be, but it's important for me to know how you feel... Also, I like to think that friendship spawns from caring for others rather than the other way round - if I care for it, it is because I care for you." She nodded, "And I do not doubt that she is a good friend... Did you know that Mac thought that Mitsu was your ghoulfriend?"
She remained neutral sounding through it all, but her expression softened considerably as she added, "How... Do you feel about that? Do you have other feelings for Mitsu?"
