After many nights, and days, the Lieutenant had his answers. It wasn't that he hadn't had them from evening one, no his General had told him everything that first night. For that he felt a certain loyalty, a need to prove his turning wasn't a mistake or a bad move. No, he didn't have his answers. He had another tell him the same thing, a support of the first story. Proof that he had rightfully put his trust in the tanzanite haired general.
His answers at hand, supported by another, the blond had left his home that night with purpose. Walking from his home into the city he headed for the park, he really had learned to do a lot of walking and jumping around as of late. Slipping into the shadows of the park, hiding behind some trees and bushes, he let himself change into his other personality.
Now, it was time to find that eternal senshi. He could sense her, but where in the park was she? Would she come toward him and make this hunt easier? The park was fairly large after all, and to search it all would be a bit of an annoyance; but he'd do it if he had to.
Stepping out of his hiding place the bottom of his coat ruffling behind him. He'd gotten used to his uniform, and even found it comfortable and nice. If he could have a coat like this as a civilian he would, but unfortunately it seemed no designers found this design proper for a male; at least not with it's fitting at the waist. It seemed a bit on the female side, oh well.
"Time to find her..." Spoken softly, to himself, a mere whisper. It was time to talk, to sit and talk to yet another senshi. A trade of information, he didn't hold such frivolous hopes within him of bringing a senshi to the negaverse. He didn't think such a thing should be expected or counted on. If it happened it was pure luck and an odd occurrence that was not to be thought of when going in to a conversation, least one get there hopes up. God, did he sound pessimistic just then, but he supposed it was one more change.

Maia was in the park and she felt him as soon as he powered up and she wondered if he felt her as well. Her answer was given as he seemed to be headed right for her and this caused her to frown, but she stayed where she was perch in a tree as she so often did when she need a small break during a patrol. After three youma she though she deserved a break. It had been a busy night.
She just hoped she wasn't in for a fight with the paint brush nega from a few weeks back. She sighed her feet dangling as she waited for the boy to find her, assuming at is, and a good assumption it was that he was looking for her.

It seemed she wasn't going to help him by coming his way, what a shame and how rude. Honestly she could at least meet him half way, unless this wasn't the senshi he was looking for. He really did hope this wasn't some other eternal senshi, that would not go over well for him. He was far too weak and didn't really want to call Painite to help him.
He wasn't displeased though, as he kept looking around, when he spotted red hair and that green and white uniform. "A truce here so we can talk?" He doubted she'd fight him, she hadn't the last time, but he felt the need to ask anyway. It was to be on the safe side, though she could agree and break it. At least he could then consider her an oath breaker, a warlock by definition. "If so I'll come up, or we can find a bench to sit and speak."

Maia turned and nodded, "a truce so we can talk," she parroted though it was obvious she was confirming her acceptance of this. She patted the branch beside he giving a soft smile as if to say, no I am not going to go back on my word.
She looked expectantly at the other, hoping he would insist on a bench she quite like the trees, less likely to be attacked by a youma when not on the ground, at least in her case.
"What is it that you would like to speak about?"

Leaping up, he'd gotten good at it, he landed lightly on the toes of his boots and turned slowly and gently eased himself into a sitting position.
"Have you forgotten the idea to meet again, with answers to that which we both obviously needed?" He questioned, slate eyes trained on her. "I've confirmed what I was told the evening I was brought into the Negaverse. I wasn't going to go back on searching for my answers, even if it brings new questions with each answer I gain. Have you hunted down whatever you needed to know?" Crossing one leg over the other loosely, slender hands came to rest in his lap. His brush no where in sight.

Maia sighed, but shook her head anyway indicating yes. No she actually had not done any searching, she'd been rather busy actually enjoying being a senshi for one. She was lucky in that she knew more that he realized she knew, so even if she hadn't searched the chances were even just going on the Basterds information, she knew more than enough for a chat with him.
"Are you coming to me for the information I have gained because I doubt it would benefit me to tell you anything and there of course are things I cannot and will not tell you. I am sure you know that, you do not seem like an unintelligent person."

"Of course, I would not tell you certain things either. But I do seek your side to this, as well as impart our story; our reason to fight. It would seem this war is a continuation of one a long time ago, an unjust and dishonorable war waged against the Earth." He spoke, his eyes serious as they held their focus on the green and white clad senshi.
"While I know about the previous war I do not know what triggered this one, and if the senshi or the negaverse rose first. This is not information I have thus far been able to track down." No, he wasn't unintelligent. He was smart, smarter now as he learned and changed, as he became someone new and broke the old mold slowly. Motioning to her he bowed his head lightly. "But ladies first, do tell me your side of this war."

Maia nodded it was true that this war was a continuation of the previous war, but she wasn't certain exactly who started it. She knew it had a lot to do with Serenity and Endyimon, but not the extent.
"As far as I am aware the war started over two years ago at the presence of Chaos in Destiny City, though I will have to reaffirm this with someone else. I am pretty sure we are awakened to fight chaos. Otherwise, I cannot say, no one is really sure, just like many other thing. Most even negaversers I believe are only as sure as the words of others."
"When I was awakened the negaverse was stealing peoples lives, plucking their starseeds from their chest and leaving the bodies for pick up. Senselessly killing civilians and corrupting senshi without a care. We aimed to keep this from happening of course, but things keep popping up more and more things, side problem, which I will not delve into and the war is far more complicated that anyone wants, but it is a war and that is expected."
She looked to him wondering what he though of her answer and motion for him to tell his side, though she though he might question her first.

Listening he nodded slowly. That told him and a when and where this new war had started. That answered a question he'd needed an answer for. Rather than interrupt her he mouthed a thank you to her, he didn't wish to cut her off and perhaps miss something he needed to hear.
"As far as I know that practice has stopped, we gather energy. It leaves the people alive and we can leave them conscious should we wish." Which was to his liking, he could not knowingly kill a person. There was simply no way he could do such.
"The original war was started with the Moon's ruler. She wished to take over the Earth, there was peace here, unlike elsewhere in space where wars waged. Lucky for her, not those on Earth, her daughter fell for Earth's prince, and vice verse. In fact, the Prince was so in love with the Moon's princess that he'd have done anything to please her, given anything. He was blind to things around him, to the Moon's Queen." His voice was serious, but also held a note of sadness as he spoke, his eyes breifly closed and he continued.
"The people of Earth would have fallen under the rule of the Moon and it's Kingdom, it's Queen. For Earth's prince would have permitted it. The people of the Earth rose up, for their freedom. Normal people, without powers, against the Moon's Queen and her senshi. The war for Earth had begun, as it has once more." His hands clenched in his lap.
He may be new to the Negaverse but the despair of those people, and how they knew it was a hopeless fight...it effected the young officer.
"Somehow, I cannot say how aside from sheer luck and determination, brought the people of Earth to the thrown of the Earth Kingdom, but rather than finding the traitor Prince they found the Moon's Queen. She did not go lightly on the people of Earth, she would not give up the Earth so easily." here he trained off, weather lost in thought of contemplating his next words was unsure. But the tale was one which would give reason for being against senshi, who wouldn't fight for their freedom and that of others who could not fight themselves?

Maia nodded, "I haven't heard that before, thank you for telling me. I have no affliation with either earth prince or the moon queen or princess though," the last part she wasn't sure she should have admitted but she did.
She looked up to the sky, "Ive heard another story though, well its only a partial story. Um lets see if I can remember. After more than a year of this things are blending together. Mmmhhh. Yes, I think I remember."
"The voice that called us the star protectors is the one who told the story. The voice said earth was ruled the same way as the moon kingdom at one point in the past, though you or rather the negaverse would disagree. Earth had a senshi just like every other celestial body, but earth senshi was somehow removed from even memory. From what I gather from the conversation was that Metallia was responsible. She is the enemy along with Beryl and the negaverse. Still that isn't much to go on."
"I do know we have to dust youma and keep them from draining energy from civilains. I know about the energy draining, but taking is stealing and if you have to steal it than maybe it is for no good. Why not just ask or have the negaverser give the energy themselves?"

A senshi of Earth. That was news to him and something to ponder, though it did seem all kinds of stars had a senshi; so it did make some sense. Lifting one hand he pressed a finger tip to his bottom lip as he listened to the Eternal senshi speak.
So they were told some story, even if it was different, though some did seem clueless about things. It seemed not all of them were clueless. It was better than a herd of clueless sheep, which he'd previously thought was the case. Still it was discerning that many seemed clueless about this message. A voice though...before awakening.
"Why kill the youma though? Do none of you know who they once were?" He questioned softly, he felt something for them. It was the same thing which kept him from draining hobo's, the risk that some of them had been war vet's. He would not, could not, involve someone in a war, someone who had already fought at least one war. Youma, for him, were worthy of respect and to be treated well, they weren't just something meaningless to be killed.
Pondering the part about Metallia and Beryl he nodded his head slowly. "No, it isn't much. But it is something." And together with what he had a puzzle could perhaps be put together in time. Perhaps not, perhaps the pieces from her story and what he knew wouldn't fit together at all. Maybe though they would fit together and show him where pieces were still needed, more answers to be found.
"Would you compare energy gathering to robbing a bank? Where robbing a bank hurts people, the economy, and can potentially lead to death? Energy gathering does none of that, perhaps it scares the person but they regain the energy." For him he would always see the two things, theft and borrow of energy as two separate things. "Would a person willingly give energy? When for some time they can't go about things as they please? Take time out of their life to help?" They would ask all about this war, and not want to interrupt their lives. It wouldn't work. No, they had to do this as they did. "Would you if someone walked up to you, and explained things to you, let them take energy from you?" He questioned, doubting she would give a positive answer.

Maia looked rather confused for a moment and shook her head curls bouncing slightly. "What do you mean know what they once were? What I know is when I was first awakened that they were killing civilians by taking their starseeds. They try to kill me so I defend myself. What were they once if not youma?"
Maia sighed lightly, "it is something, but not enough. And you compare the two things over looking the most simple concept in both of those cases. In both cases you are taking with out asking. Not only that the robber won't give the money back and the negaverser or youma isn't going to give the energy back. Yes, they will gain the money or energy back, but it will not be that which they once had, that which was taken from them. That is gone taken from them for a use that was not there own."
Maia jumped out of the tree landing upright both feet on the ground, then waved for Beni to follow. "As for the other question, I can honestly say I do not know. That is to say would you join the negaverse or the senshi if they explained the war to you. So the only way for me to answer that question is for you to explain it to me."

"They were the civilians fighting the Moon's Queen. She made them what they are, her power did that to them. It broke them..." Biting his lip, his feelings for the youma and what had happened to them coming through in his voice. His feelings lay with them, the ones who gave everything and were stuck here needing energy.
"Yes, but energy is energy. It is all the same, or do we somehow have proof that there is a difference in the energy a person has now as opposed to the energy tomorrow?" A tilting of his head, hoping that made some sense. But how do you find energy now and energy later different? "With the money it is different money, new money made. Perhaps you'll say it's the same as the energy, newly made, but it is labeled as different and becomes more money flooding the system."
Looking down at her he watched her for a moment, silent. "If someone were to approach me, ask for my energy, and explain things to me...what you said and what I've said tonight. I'd give my energy and ask to join the Negaverse." He'd done it once before, and he'd do it again.

Maia's jaw dropped at hearing his words about the civilians being youma, no she shook her head that couldnt possible be true. She frowned feeling awful, but hoping against hope that what he said was a falsehood.
She also decided the debate of about energy and stealing wasn't worth the effort. She thought it was stealing and he did not and she realized with all the information he told her that she wouldn't be able to change his mind, not in one night anyway.
Maia frowned deeply knowing that with the information he gave versus the information he gave she may have made the same decision though she couldn't tell him that. Maia sight looking up at the sky. "I think we both have much to think about. I am sure we will see each other again. You know how to find me. Will be talk again. I think for me however the night is over and I must go. Good night to you."
With that she turned away his words heavy in her mind.

No, his mind wouldn't be changed. He honestly did see the things as separate, even if related in some ways. Watching her reaction, from his perch in the tree, he slid down and landed, with a slight jarring, on the ground. His heels dug into the ground so he was standing flat as if he didn't have that slight heel.
Taking a step back he stood watching her. The sky was lovely to look at, more so when you didn't have to think of what had taken place between the Moon and here. He could only think his words, the truth, had effected her and nodded. "Of course. If you ever need me...it may take a week of staying in the area. But I always go to the art district." Art galleries and such.
Watching her turn and go, maybe this would be one senshi less killing youma. Maybe he'd even get her to change her mind, to turn sides. He could feel some hope welling inside of him, and quickly crushed it. It would be best to not allow himself to feel hope only to have it crushed.
Turning he headed off in to the night, he had energy to gather.
