This is a good old fashioned request thread. Of course none of you are obligated to get me a thing, but since there are a slew of things that I want, and I have a birthday coming up, so I thought I'd try to make that work to my advantage. For those of you who are feeling generous come September 2nd, I am really looking to get two main things. The first is the Evergreen Bound Broom. I need ten of these and at the moment I have only two. I am also looking to get more Alchemist Starter Kits. These are available for free, one per account, but if you already used yours, there are others for sale in the market place. For those who are uncommonly generous, if you can find things like Cutin or Succubus Bone, and any other components not for sale, they will be happily accepted. I am also looking for other things like MANtis, Circqe De Junk Food (accurate names/spellings on my wishlist) but I only need one of each of these... Though I don't imagine that more than one person would be willing to buy those, as pricey as they are. All gifts are very much appreciated. I'll be listing all gifters here, a little closer to the day.
EDIT: It's getting to be just over a week away, now, so I'll start that list. My deepest thanks to all below. Sarah- Sarah has been giving me little components and such here and there and has been allowing me to be a compulsive spender without dropping below two mil, to the extent that it has added up to at least several hundred thousand... With the actual presents still to come. I will never be as generous to anyone as Sarah has been to me... At least when it comes to Gaia gold. Note, this doesn't even include the actual present, here, but I just had to credit her, somewhere for all of that. Sereniti- Sereniti bought me a Cirque du Junkfood. Now I'm one step closer to being able to make a Nomy (and more importantly) make something with alchemy and raise my level. I think I only need Cutin... If only it weren't so expensive...(Sarah strikes again.) Sarah (part two): Not withstanding a series of additional grotesquely large donations, there was a Golden Chuuchilla, Wizard's Brew, an OMG Spirit, an Aquarium Turtle, and the following Mini-Monsters: OMGWTF, OMG, and Gnome. There is also two pieces of avatar art, one of which has yet to be delivered to her. Esme: She bought me an alchemist starter kit and an Evergreen Bound Broom. *Crosses fingers.* Just four more to go... Sarah (Part three): Sarah added a Peginni and Green Intentions to the hoarde of things that she's already given me. Edit: And now a Valefore Academy is added to the list.

27? Holy s**t. I keep forgetting you've got two years on me, rather than just the one... Still, it doesn't feel like any of us should be even 24, yet...

Believe me, I know exactly what you mean. I feel my mortality most keenly and it both deeply appalls and profoundly disturbs me to know that 30 is right around the proverbial bend. It used to feel like presents were given as celebratory gifts. Now they're more like consolatory items. I can imagine birthday cards that say "Sorry for your loss of another year of your life." Not to be unduly gloomy, but sometimes it's hard to hear Happy birthday over the ticking of that damned clock, which only seems to be getting louder.

I said Feel like. And I certainly appreciate them. That bit has nothing to do with anyone but me.

Birthday presents as consolatory gifts xd That's great. I'm going to start looking for cards like that now. Saber Talawyrm I suppose, I don't much look forward to my own birthday either. But I love other people's. I don't much care for birthdays either, whether my own or anybody else's. They're useful for keeping track of ages, but beyond that I don't see much of a point. I'll generally do something for a girlfriend's birthday, get a card or present to keep family from whining, but that's about it. Oh, and keeping people misinformed as to the date of mine. But then Zac had to go and ruin that by memorizing it...

As much as I enjoy giving people things though, it's not everyone that I'm willing to do it for. Most people just get a card or a note saying happy birthday. For myself, I'd rather my birthday go by with a little bit less fuss than what I put into other's birthdays but I do like getting cards. I do that, I find out when someone's birthday is and then I don't forget. Sometimes, I wish I could, there are so many dates swimming around in my head. ^^;

I have started the list in the first post, since the day is drawing nearer. I think my greed and poverty is starting to outweigh my fear of old age and death.

I seem to be the only person who got their midlife crisis out of the way early. I FREAKED OUT over turning 20, and now that I am 20, I'm not so phased by getting any older. In my opinion each year is just another step closer to being that wonderfully badly behaved little old woman at the rest home who flirts with all the old men, and is always baking them yummy baked goods. Oh, and who gets her grandkids to bring her in new gadgets and games for her latest hand-held gaming device.

Ahh the day we get to play in the nursing homes ;D I plan on making the caretakers have a lil fun, or was it have a lil fun at their expense?

I managed to get talked into sending his gifts early, although I just realized I forgot to post the second piece of art. I suppose I should go do that. ^^;
