The short-lived, barely-realized American empire is crumbling. It wasn't an empire in the conventional sense: we colonized no overseas lands and didn't plant our flag everywhere, except when it was on the coffee mugs of our businesspeople...is this a good thing for our nation? Is it a time to weep, reflect and repent? Will there be fewer rabid atheists spewing nonsense, fewer libertines sticking their genitalia out because they're not getting any and want the world to know? Will idiot New Liberals crawl back into the mud, and let the classical Liberals shine again? Can we stop being PC now?
Ugly things happening, or recently happened:
A Norwegian psychopath cold-bloodedly murders an island full of Socialist youth. Uh...that ain't the way to solve problems. Create martyrs is more like it. Also, I am officially scared of Norwegians now. And they had such nice smiles, when I visited over there! Such a friendly people, more good-natured than their neighbors. Lies! They need to spank their kids! :X
Syrians uprising, Libyans uprising...God help them, and let their new leaders not be overreligious, tiny-dicked morons like the Taliban, who also need to be spanked. By women. By naked women. Which is possibly their goal, or maybe gayness is. Hard to tell with boneheads.
Riot in the UK. Again, start spanking your kids, you fathers. Whip that a**, and it will stay home and do its damn homework, instead of being out at night, breaking car and shop windows. The fathers probably aren't home either. They're too busy breaking windows and being disgruntled that their free ride is being whittled down. Riot for jobs, not for the Dole!
Me not having a job. This is a massive personal tragedy, especially in light of the fact that I shall probably have to do the same kind of jobs as I did when I graduated from high school, and be grateful for it. All this fancy education and what have I to show for it? Bills! -pout-

things go in cycles and we'll just have to see how things turns out. Plus I'm sure things will work themselves out.

ryokomayuka things go in cycles and we'll just have to see how things turns out. Plus I'm sure things will work themselves out. Yes. I was letting myself get depressed. It's too easy to get all the bad news and forget the good. What about the millions of planes that land safely, the quantities of marriages that are good, the curing of diseases, and the building of hospitals and soccer fields around the world...nobody talks about that. It's not newsworthy.
