Anthony Darrow knew his friend was right. Valhalla had quite explicitly told him not to put himself in harm's way. Not to go out on patrol while he was healing in the hospital, certainly. Unfortunately, Tony no longer considered his stay a recuperative one. It was a very nice prison, but one none the less.

He hated it.

It wasn't just the ever stirring feeling of uselessness, despite his best efforts to ignore it. He told himself over and over that everyone, Hesperis and Valhalla and all the others who he had talked to about his troubles, were fine. They weren't out there getting killed, and he had his headset to keep in touch with the knights. But he continued to worry.

So he was escaping. Dog under his arm, as someone had brought him Dogby as a gift while he was sleeping, he climbed once again from his window. This time, he hoped, for good. He had powered up while inside, just before jumping out, just so he could be able to support himself. Still, it was incredibly difficult. Getting stabbed through the leg was not fun.

Just when he thought he would be able to get over his limp. He chalked it up to just being fated to hobble around.

The knight of Earth hurried his way down from the window, though he was having a very awkward time with it with Dogby under his arm, wiggling away as she always did. And then, of course, his chainmail got stuck on the window.

His room, also of course, had been on the second floor.

She had been on her way home from her book club, already thinking about what she was going to make for dinner and oh god, are any of my dishes clean? when Sidra Winters heard an odd scraping sound. Looking up, she noticed a man hanging from a window. More importantly, he was powered up.

He was a knight, and she had not come across one of those in a very long time.

Sidra looked around for any place to conceal herself, and having situated herself behind a tree a second later, Sidra transformed. It was like having a small atom bomb goes off below you, and Sidra knew that he must have noticed. And so she didn't feel like she was going to startle the man if she leapt from branch to branch to reach his position.

"Hello, need some help?" Sailor Cosmos asked brightly, sticking her hand near Dogby as way of greeting.

Camelot was not expecting powered up company, let alone someone appearing out of no where and being quite impressive about it. He scrabbled a bit more because of it, trying to haul himself back up one armed and one legged, at least enough so he could look down at whoever had come to join him.

At least the aura wasn't chaotic, though powerful.

"Ah, hello there," he said sheepishly, watching her as she bounced closer to him. His expression was clear. He was red from ear tip to ear tip, right across the bridge of his nose. Embarrassed, at this point, was an understatement.

Dogby, meanwhile, was oblivious to all things awkward or silly, and she smiled a doggy smile at Cosmos as she reached her hand out. Dogby wiggled again, stretching her neck out so she could lick at her new friend's fingers. The corgi wasn't exactly graced with long body parts, so she had to strain a bit to accomplish her goals. Camelot struggled to keep a hold of her.

"I think I'm... a little bit stuck," the knight said, "if you could... uhm... take the dog, for a moment? And I'll..." do my best not to fall on my face, he finished in thought.

"Sure!" Cosmos said brightly, and took the wriggling dog off the knight's hands. She had always wanted one of her own, but her family had lived in an apartment that didn't allow animals, and where Sidra lived now, they did allow animals, but Astraea spent enough time with her that her landlord felt that Astraea was her cat, even if Astraea vehemently objected to being anyone's.

"If you don't mind me asking," Sailor Cosmos asked after a pause, "why are you escaping from hospital? Is there a youma inside? Some attack on the staff inside? Locked up for reasons of insanity, I know things can be tough with all this thrust upon us."

Sailor Cosmos patted Camelot's elbow, and focused again on the wriggling dog, who was excitedly trying to get down.

Camelot moved his foot, his good leg at least, against the wall and used his other hand to grip the ledge and hoist himself up a bit more. It wasn't the most graceful thing ever witnessed, his foot slipping a bit, but he managed to get high enough to be able to free the chainmail from the window.

"Uhm," he said, distracted by his efforts, "no, there's no youma in there. Not one that I remember or saw, at least. I mean. I'm pretty sure there's not. Ah ha!"

He freed his arm, looking at her triumphantly as she patted him reassuringly, and then promptly slipped from his awkward grip and plopped on his bottom on the floor below. It wasn't the furthest fall, not for a knight at any rate, but it was jarring and he grimaced in pain. More emotional than physical, as his pride had taken quite the beating already.

Dogby yipped down at him, wanting to be down there, then looked at Cosmos and moved to lick at her again, still wanting to be up here in her arms, as well. She was fairly easy to please, though relentless in her wiggling.

"I'm alright!" Camelot called, a little too loudly, "If... you were wondering..." he looked up at the tree, not wanting to stay on the floor with someone he felt he should probably be showing a lot more respect to then he had been. Plus, he had made her hold his dog, without even thinking about it. Sometimes he could be an idiot, in his own estimation.

There were times for giggling, and there were times where to be giggly would be a terrible affront to an older gentleman. This was one of those times, and Sailor Cosmos tried to keep a helpful yet stern look on her face, but failed terribly as Dogby licked inside her ear. She giggled, and then looked down in sorrow; she didn't want him to think that she was laughing at his predicament. That would be incredibly rude.

Sailor Cosmos jumped down to his position, and handed his dog back to him, noting that he was standing on one of his legs a little oddly, as if he had hurt it. Which, considering he was escaping from hospital, he probably had.

"I'm Sailor Cosmos," Cosmos said, extending her hand to the knight, hoping he didn't find her giggle too emasculating.

Camelot looked up and saw her hop down, smiling warmly, though with obvious effort, as she gave him Dogby back. She whined when she was handed off. Not unhappy to be with Tony again, but she never liked that moment between being held close to someone and then being put down, or being handed off. She'd rather spend all her time being pet and snuggling.

She gave Cosmos a wide eyed, pathetic look, her big ears drooping and even her stump of a tail falling.

Camelot pet her on the head in an effort to get the dog to stop her guilt tripping. She could be a cuddle monster, if she was allowed to.

"Camelot, page of Earth," he said in return, his smile now much more genuine. He took her hand and shook it slightly, but held it as he bowed respectfully. He was nothing if not polite, at least.. "I do wish we might have met under less... embarrassing... circumstances, but it's a pleasure all the same. Your energy... uhm... aura. It's very overwhelming."

He looked frustrated with himself for a fleeting moment, not wanting to sound so stupid but letting it fall out anyway. He opted to try and stay casual and ask her some questions that weren't hopelessly involved or probing, despite his highly piqued interest and that lingering feeling that he needed to be on his best behavior. It was similar to how he had felt when he met the Princess senshi before.

"Are you patrolling this area?"

Cosmos tucked a strand of her white hair behind her ear, and bit her lip, contemplating her reply. She didn't want to overstate her position, but she also didn't want to falsely downplay who she was-- what she was. Honestly, it was a quandary that she had put herself in to by not revealing who she was and why and everything back when she had freshly transformed, had purified Linarite to their side. Maybe they might have respected her a bit more if her part in the purification was not simply a rumour.

"Nice to meet you, Camelot," Cosmos replied, her smile a bit askance as he bowed to her. Rare to find manners these days, but she was happier to see a polite gentleman than a rude one.

"I'm sorry about my aura," Cosmos said, a bit foolishly, "It's a little foolhardy to be standing here talking, but at least if we run in to any trouble, we're right beside the place we'll need to go!"

Cosmos laughed, understanding a bit late that she was acting odd. Coughing, Cosmos reluctantly answered Camelot's unasked question.

"I'm... not exactly a normal Senshi. It's hard to explain. I'm not dangerous?" Cosmos ended helpfully.

"Oh no, not at all!" Cosmos replied to the patrolling question, "I just heard something above me, and thought you might need some help. I was just on my way home; I patrol closer to the Southside of town."

Camelot, for his part, tended to be oblivious to most things around him. He did his best to learn what he could, where ever he could, and if he realized she had been able to purify negas into knights he would have had his mind blown. In his heart he felt he knew that anything corrupted could be cleansed.

He smiled at her regardless, always polite to the best of his ability, and going with what his guts were telling him.

"Well, you didn't feel dangerous. I mean... to me. I imagine the negaverse might feel differently... ah..."

He nodded his head, blushing again. He felt even more silly for his getting stuck now, dragging someone who was just passing by in to help him because he, a knight and someone who probably should have had a bit more sense considering his age, had gotten stuck while escaping the hospital.

It wasn't his finest moment, since powering up, certainly.

"Well, it's my honor to meet you, and thank you for helping me. Dogby certainly appreciates it," he smiled, and the corgi yipped excitedly when she heard her name, wiggling and trying to lick whatever was closest.

Sidra shrugged, her hands on her hips, her heels digging in to the soft soil under the tree. It felt odd just chatting while wearing their uniforms, odder still that no one was really paying them any mind while they stood and chatted. It did help that there was a bunch of old growth trees around this quieter side of the hospital, so their luck was holding up.

But it would be a bit of a piss-poor escape if they got caught before actually escaping.

"So..." Sidra started, "what's the plan, Stan? You have escaped the dreaded Hosp, what dire situation are you running to? Or from."

Camelot looked thoughtful at that question, though it threw him for a moment that he was called Stan. He knew she was just rhyming, though, and told himself not to be confused by such simple things. It made him feel older then he was.

Which was just sad.

"Well, I wasn't actually running anywhere. To or from. I just. Well maybe from the hospital. I just wanted to get out of here for a bit. I feel a bit trapped there, and I know there are Youma and things running around out here... I know I can't do much and I don't want to get myself hurt worse, but I also don't want people getting hurt while I'm trapped."

He sighed. His sense of duty, at least, was still healthy and intact. He had never been very good at being sensible and noble at the same time, though. His instincts were often in conflict. Particularly now, when all he wanted to do was protect the innocent and those he cared about, which often meant purposefully putting himself in danger.

There had to be some middle ground, somewhere. In any case, Valhalla was not going to be happy, knowing Camelot was out again.
