Taja walked steadily, head held high. She had recently decided that she would take a journey across the Kawani lands due to the recent loss of her mate. It had been her decision to break it off since he had dissapeared over two years earlier, but the wound was still fresh. Her heart felt as though it had completely evaporated along with her hope. Off in the distance she could hear a waterfall pouring down into a vast lake. "Where to go..." She said to herself as she looked around. The area she was currently in was a large feild filled with flowers and wheat. On the opposite end was a burned forest that darker creatures now resided in. To her left was more feilds and she guessed the ocean not to far from there. To her right was going deeper into the Kawani lands, where the waterfall was. Where did she want to go? Each direction held a different path, and just like her life she was at a impass; not quite sure which direction she should take.
Nephthys wandered out of the burnt woods, where she had spent the night. She had been lucky to find the spot she did, even if the area was infested with dark and scary Soquili and other creatures. Thanks to her parents she looked intimidating and was usually left alone. Normally she would have done more to help people think that was true, but she was grieving the loss of someone close to her. Neph looked up at the sky, then down at the lake. She needed to get away from here, the lake that she had so often visited with him. She stopped, her eye showed the pain of her loss. She looked across the lake and saw that she wasn’t alone, instantly she steeled herself for a confrontation. Around this area an attack could come from anything.
