It had been the first time out in the world alone. She had left her mother only recently. Having been afraid her mother would do something stupid, though her mother was a grown leopardess, this Hesseth knew. She could take care of her self, it was time for her to start her own life. To live and experience things for herself. Instead of listening to her mother babble on and on. Sometimes, Hesseth figured she did it because she wanted her to leave. Though, she could never be sure.
Her purple eyes glanced around the land. A land she had never seen before. Excitement rose up in her, yet she didn't show it. She could hide things easily. The only thing she couldn't hide well was herself. Her bright orange and yellow markings stood out wonderfully on her black fur. Of course, that wasn't too odd. Most of her siblings were dark with bright colors. Only a few of them were just dark.
She cautiously made her way around the new lands, stepping gently not to make hardly any noise. Which, didn't seem that difficult to do. At least not for her. She wasn't fat like her mother. Well, her mother wasn't really fat, she was on the chunky side, though. Hesseth was almost too skinny for a leopard, though she ate well, and all that. She just had a hard time gaining a ton of weight like most.
She flicked her tail as she peered up at some trees. Interesting things, they were. She wanted to climb them, but had no idea why. It was the first time she had seen one up close. Her mother didn't let them climb trees when they were cubs. She hid them in rocks and away from any predators eyes. She had always been told it was for her best, though now she was realizing her mother kept her from the good things in life. She signed, and stopped as she stared at them. Still debating a climb. It seemed so natural, so fun... a huge urge was creeping over her.
