A palace where, in here, music rules all. A cocoon of musical notes rests in the heart of the palace, and if you listen closely, you can hear the steady rythm of a heart beat.

Hollow walked towards the palace, looking up at it. "Makes you wonder how our birth created things like thia, huh?" he asked, looking between Kirara and Kaname.

"Yeah... it kinda does..."Kirara said, following close behind ollow.

"But what we can do and create is what make me wonder..." Kaname said, holding his weapon in his right hand, his clothes completely repaired.

Hollow turned and saw a person walk up. "Oh... hello." he said, smiling. Why is she in a bunny suit he thought to himself. "You two keep her company. I'll go in myself and save Katsume." he said, walking into the palace without awaiting an answer.

"How come I always get stuck with the weirdos?" Kirara thought to herself, letting out a sigh.

That's not nice Kirara." Kaname said, turning to face Mika. "Hello, I'm Kaname. What's your name?" he asked, smiling.

Hollow was walking against the walls, trying not to get caught by any monsters. He leaned against one part of the wall until he fell through it. When he came to, he saw a cocoon made of musical notes. "Found you." he said, summoning a sword.

Kirara just muttered a few curse words to herself before facing the palace again.

"Ah, nice to meet you Mika." Kaname said, noticing that she was staring at Hollow as he left. Do they know each other he thought to himself.

In one swift movement, Hollow cut the cocoon, making the whole palace let out what sounded like a very loud groan. After it had went wuiet. the cocoon disappeared, revealing a girl who was about to fall before Hollow caught her. "Hey, Katsume, wake up." he said.

"I'm Kirara." Kirara said, covering her ears when the palace groaned. "Took his time..." she muttered, turning around to face the other two.

Kaname covered his ears as the palace groaned also, taking his hands off of his ears as it all went quiet. "Ah... so it seems he has saved her." he said, smiling.

I am the eighth."

Katsume

The Musician

Katsume opened her eyes slowly, putting her hands up to her headphones to make sure they were still there. When he saw Hollow through almost closed eyes, she opened them quickly as the glowed slightly. "Hollow!" she yelled, putting her arms around his neck and almost choking him to death. She and Hollow walked out of the palace, her riding on his back.

Katsume laid her head on Hollow's back and went to sleep as he carried her.
