yeha, thats the thing about Deviantart. There are some amazing artists there and then there is some not-so-amazing people there too.
I think it is a good site to find tutorials though.

People dont like to leave me comments on there crying
The hose disappears because I never bothered to finish it yet xd
I dont know why exactly, but I jump around a lot in my pictures (like I will be working on the face, then maybe I will jump to the feet, then the clothes)
As for the question about the hand, I dont know I put it there when I was making the rough, but I might erase it and find something else for that arm to do.
