As the sunset and darkness overcame the sky, a large stallion seemed to take comfort in the shadows of the night. His face took on a fatigued look, feeling as if the day had drained most of his strength. He was a little grateful his "babies" were less active in the night due to the lack of sunlight, and would only be more active when the moon was full, offering the lands more light. For the moment being, his "babies" were peacefully resting along his body and in his mane.

His comfort did not only rest on the fact he had free time for himself, but also the fact that most of the equine species and the two-legged species would be resting during this time. He was not too socialized with the two species, feeling more comfortable with the flora species. They like him for being considerate to them and tending to them, while he liked them because he felt like he had a close connection to them despite being that of the equine breed.

Taking a moment to consider what to do in his free time, the stallion settled on venturing outside of his forest to find new flora to join his family. He was certain he had a patch of flowers that were looking a tad lonely and were looking for a new companion to share their space with.

Hanging Gallow
A soft blue glow lingered among the trunks of the trees as the pale mare had a cold frown dance across her muzzle. There were days where the soft light was rather useful however for the most part it was nothing more than a burden and annoyance. The once former killer was now limited in her movement and the light was rather unsettling in letting everything with eyes notice wherever she stood no matter how much she tried to conceal her appearance. Still if the choice was left to do what she had done, she would have merely done it all over again. As much as the tree was a burden with its soft glow and constant train of sakura petals the pain of forcing her once herd into painful deaths was too much of a punishment for those who were innocent.

Shaking her head softly she continued making her way taking solace in lingering along the edge of the forest, there was little to no movement from creatures. Despite being alone for so long she was glad to continue in such nature the idea of taking to most young idealistic youths were of little interest to the mare. Even the stallion who bore a strong resemblance to her sisters was enough company for her to bear for only a few days until it started to become rather grating on her nerves.

Genesis wandered the forest, taking brief moments to speak with some of the flora, yet none of them drew him in. Some had no intention to talk with him, and some just seemed to shy away from him. It was kind of off-putting, but he could not force them if they did not want to come with him. He had a feeling if he did ever force a plant, it would not thrive well and end up dying. He shook his head at the thought.

Continuing forward, the stallion caught sight of light pink petals. The aroma of the flowers was faintly sweet and alluring. The stallion looked up and noticed the trail of petals. This had the stallion a tad curious because if the petals had fallen off themselves from a tree by the wind, the dispersal would be spread out more. Instead, it looked like the tree was possibly moving since the petals followed a certain path. The curious thing was that he was certain he had seen these type of petals before and it was past the season of their bloom, so why would there be petals in late summer?

The large stallion followed after the trail, curious to see what he would find.

She stopped looking at the sky's sprinkling of small glittering stars that look scattered as if something precious was spilt out into a dark place. Chise was always fond of looking at them each night lingering along the edge of the herd lands naming various ones names of former members who had died. Despite knowing better Gin liked to believe that all of them had made it there lingering in the night sky however really it was nothing more than a childish hope.  Shaking her head she took a few more steps forward before pausing, her ears flattening  before turning towards a direction that was behind her.

Someone else was following her though for what reason she knew not. It could have been merely another traveler for all she knew however hiding was really no option. The bright blue glow made it almost impossible to even hide in a thicket causing her to grind her teeth in utter dislike. For this very reason she really hated the light, it made her far too easy of a target for anyone traveling about or for anyone who wanted a late night snack thinking their opponent was nothing more than a meek mare.

"Who is there." She replied half expecting no answer to reach her.

Finding the source to the flower petals was not a difficult task, but when it did come into view, the stallion had his breathe taken away. The sight of that plant that rested on the rump of a mare had the stallion's curiosity piqued. He had never seen such a thing on a horse's back before, well, except for his brother who had a stump on his back. No, this cherry tree was in full blossom on this mare's back.

The mare herself was not too bad to look at either. The pretty long hair, the flowers that littered her hair, and the pretty face were all nice things to look at. He would have stood there and admired her, if it weren't for her voice cutting into his thoughts.

Stepping forward for the mare to see him, the stallion still looked to her, but with less intensity as before when he was observing her. "Not an enemy. I was simply curious about these flower petals." He replied smoothly, as he nosed a flower that had fallen from her.

The light scent of blood lingered in the air, it was familiar and almost nostalgic to the mare as she kept her eyes on the dark colored stallion that had shown up before her. She could see the small vines that twisted around him the bulbs of flowers that hung on his body however unlike her  he didn't glow. He smelt more like death than fragrance Gin thought as a smile spread across her muzzle thinking of her own masked scent. It was a short quick smile as she watched him nose a flower that had fallen from the tree he seemed rather interesting though she had a doubt about him not becoming an enemy.

"Are you a particular collect of flowers or did you just merely wish to know where they came from?" There was no fear really in him becoming him an enemy to Gin, she reassured that act of disposing or killing of another was still capable in her realm of skills. Actually the thought of killing someone tonight might prove to reassure her that the tree was completely useless.

"I was curious at first, wanting to know where they come from, but I was quite surprised to see when I found the source." He said honestly, taking a gander at the healthy cherry blossom tree. "I had set out to find something new for my garden, and I was intrigued by these flowers. Unfortunately, if I wanted to bring these flowers home, it would mean you would have to come back with me to live in my garden." He said with a mild shrug.

The stallion pondered, the thought of bringing her back to his garden. He was certain she would fit in well instead of just killing her to get to her flowers. Although, if he did try to kill her for the flowers alone, he was certain the flowers would not last very long. Like his own "babies", there was a symbolic relationship between the him and his "babies".
