 Angelos found himself wandering through a mountain. He didn't know why he was up there all he knew was that he felt like going this way. With out real wings he found himself being driven away from most of the daevas that lived in the valley. It wasn't his fault he was born with out wings but the others didn't seem to care. They just made fun of him. When he was kit a friend of his tried to make him feel better by making him fake wings. He came to like them and wore them every day... but to the other daevas it was just an insult. So finally he just got fed up and left, making his way through the mountains.

 Kyra had a group of sand around her and was attempting to make glass. A friend of her, Kashet, had once mentioned that he had been able to make glass with his fire and sand and she had always had the desire to replicate his work, only with her own style. And once she had found the right type of sand she decided it was time to test her theories.
Attempts 1 through 20 had been tossed over the side of the mountain, and she was currently on attempt 21 when she saw an approaching male Daeva headed her way.

When he approached a small open area he looked up and noticed a rather colorful daeva over near the cliff. He tilted his head to the side trying to figure out what she was doing. She had an odd pile of sand around her... and by pile it was a lot. He blinked for a moment and was curious to see what she was doing. He had taken a step toward her but stopped for a moment. He had remembered what all the other daevas had done to him and thought better of it. Maybe he should just continue on his way and leave her alone. The last thing he wanted was a fight.

"Too hot..." Kyra tossed the experiment over the edge of the cliff. Then she turned her attention to the male. "This is quite a remote height...very unusual to draw so much attention." The Daeva let her paw drift closer to the sand until it started to melt it, then slowly turned it into glass.
"What are you doing up here?" She focused on the work in front of her.

At her words Angelos couldn't help but look back up at her. Too hot? What was too hot? It was then that he noticed she was talking about whatever was in front of her. Of course she wasn't talking to him. Turning he went to be on his way when she started talking again. He turned back to her then glanced around. She was still looking at whatever was in front of her. When he noticed no one else was around he spoke up.
"Are... are you talking to me?" He glanced around just wanting to make sure.

"I don't see any other male Davea's up here....so I would assume that I am talking to you." Kyra looked at him slightly irritated, not knowing whether he was trying to be cute or was just tense. "How hot is you're fire....come over here and stick you paw in the sand. I want to see if your fire is too hot for the sand."
She sat up and waited impatiently for him to come over and do as she instructed him too.

"Oh..." He blushed a little. Though she could have been a little nicer about it. How was he suppose to know she was talking to him when she had her nose in her work? He then gave her a puzzled look. "How hot is my fire...? I don't know... pretty hot?" He blinked again when she tolled him to come stick his paw in the sand. "O~k..." He walked over and did as she said and stuck his paw in the sand. "Can I ask you why you want me to do this?"

"Remove your paw now." Kyra leaned down and looked at the glass that his fire had created, "Incredible....why isn't it working for me?" She looked at the male's fire, cocking her head to the side. "You're fire is the perfect temperature to make glass...." She pouted her lower lip, "I have been working all day trying to do what took you seconds...." Kyra studied the male closely, "What is your name?"

Angleos did as she said again. This time removing his paw from the sand that had now turned into... something else. He looked up at her with curious eyes as she seemed surprised about something. What he had no idea. This strange daeva seemed frustrated over something that she couldn't now. Now she was sad because apparently he could do what she could not.
"Um... what do you mean? I don't really have any idea what I did... I just did what you told me to do. Glass?" His ears went up. "Whats glass?" He then blinked. "Um... its Angelos..."

The female tapped the creation he had molded, "This is glass...it is made when you heat up sand enough. I have managed it slightly, but it never comes out looking like yours does." Kyra cocked her head to the side, "Strange name....I'll call you Angel, that's a much better name. I'm Kyra....if you so wish you can come up with a nickname for me." She studied the glass on her paw.
"I find it odd that you have never heard of glass before."

When she held up the strange pice he looked at it. He had never seen anything like it before. It was beautiful but at the same time weird. He had no idea that sand could make this glass. "I had no idea it could do that..." He looked up at her. "How did you know it would do that once it was heated?" He then blinked when she said his name was weird. "How is it... oh... um... ok." Did she just rename him? "Kyra...? But... theres no way you can get a nick name out of that..."

"Well....My mother used to call me Ky....so if you wished you could call me that also." The female smiled at him softly, "As to your other question. My friend Kashet was the first to show me this. He lives out in the desert, and quite often made glass when walking on the sand. I wished to duplicate it in a more controlled setting. Kashet warned me that if I couldn't control my flames I might get hurt trying to do it in the desert."

"Oh..." Angelos blinked at the nickname. "Well... I like Kyra better..." He blushed lightly. "So if its alright I would like to call you that... if you don't mind." He then listened to her story about how she learned how to create this glass. "So he could easily create this glass just by walking on the sand?" He tilted his head. "Interesting... and you haven't been able to do it yet?"

"Oh I have been able to create it....it just wasn't very pretty to look at." Kyra smirked as she looked down at the glass in front of her, "And you are welcome to simply call me Kyra if you wish it." She shrugged her shoulders, "It makes no difference to me." She looked around at the sand, "This is really just little more then a hobby. I was bored and figured this was a good way to spend my time." She laughed.

"Oh I see..." He then smiled. "Good. I like Kyra. So you were bord? Is that how all of this got started?" He chuckled as he sat down. "Making glass I mean..." He chucked again. "I know you saw another fox do it but did you just one day decide to try it when you got board?"
