The Sorceress Memorial (エスタ国立魔女記念館, Esuta Kokuritsu Majo Kinenkan, lit. Esthar National Witches Memorial Hall) is a location in Final Fantasy VIII. A structure built to commemorate the Sorceress War, it also functions as a place to seal potentially dangerous sorceresses.

Sorceress Aliya     Again another place was set upon this world from another.Though it seemed it had been for quite sometime if the Sorceress's here knew of it. Sylvia, rather future Sylvanas, appeared there inside the building with her younger 'sister' Aliya. The pink clad young women gasped as she reconginzed the area right away! This place? Why..was she taking her to there enemys?! At this time, though sheer panic and fear of being sealed away again she began struggling against her, attempting to get free."Let go of me! Why are you bringing me here?! Please! Don't! I'll listen! I'll do anything...just don't let --"
"Seal her. The chaos upon this planet, the thousands of deaths are all because of her. She is the one to be the blame for all that is happening right now! " Shoving her toward the many awaiting Soldiers, Sylvia turned away. This was cruel, yes, but better then letting her die due to not listening. She knew full well Atheena or Alanah would end her if she screwed up again. Though again, what was better? Death or being sealed away in the endless blackness of space? Conctious, but unable to do a thing..For centuries..far..far into the future..It was shocking alone to see she was even still sane! Maybe death wouldn't be such a bad thing. "You've said that many times, and never once have you followed through to you're word. You are never going to be like us, You're heart is far to pure, and that is you're downfall....." Then, as she figured the Soldiers could handle her, she disappeared from the Memorial.
"No...She's lying...I didn't want this...I didn't!! Please you must believe me! I only did what they told me to do...I had to...Even if I didn't want to! " Aliya attempted to teleport away, though because they were holding onto her, she was unable to. Her only last thing she could do to get away was...attack...Though she was the weakest of the sisters, she could do some damage to humans enough to cause them some pain and escape. Just as she closed her eyes, glittery dust flowed from under her and all around her in seconds. That same holy like light, and mix of darkness began to appear in her hands, only for her entire consciousness to go completely black as she was slammed in the back of the head by the back of one of the mens weapons!
Once she was unconscious, they proceeded to take her to one of the sealing domes, one particularly familiar one at that.

Nami had for once in her life, left her sister Nanami back somewhere safe to go find out what was going on with the weather. She thought maybe she could do something to help with her powers and control of ice, but she would only find out that was completely untrue.For such a young girl as herself, there was no way that was even remotely possible! She did have a great amount of power for one so young, though. As she was sort of just gliding through the air with ice-like wings, she glanced toward another location, a strange structure she hadn't yet seen. There was a presence inside, somewhat of light and darkness, though it felt terrified. "...? " Curious as she was, she went on to the entrance area, heading up the stairs that lead inside. The entrance was guarded by two armed guards, to which she just waved innocently and ran right past them! Like they would attack a seven year old girl! As she got inside, she noticed some strangely dressed men carrying a blond haired women, and how they were handleing her as they walked toward the sealing domes, was just enough to make her angry! She was like nothing but trash to them or something. They weren't careful at all. "HEY..!! Put her down!! "
"...Hmm? What is this? Go home kid, you aren't even aloud to be in here." One of the men said. "Do be quick. "
"Nu uh..You're not good people..I will hurt you if you don't hand her over.." She didn't seem to intimidate the men, they only laughed at the little girl. Up until she started gathering sharp shards of ice around her body, and launched one off at one of the Soldiers that was carrying the women. They nearly had her in that strange device! "I'm not kidding!! I will fight you if I have to!" Again, she sent another at them, and to the one that laughed at her. The icey shards sruck hard enough to cut them pretty good.At this time, they started to raise there weapons, pointing them at her! Nami ignored them, sending off a mass amount of shards at the group now, carfully enough not to have any strike the women in the process. Once they dropped her, and began fireing there weapons, she quickly created a wall of ice to block the bullets from striking her down.

Suddenly, the weapons being fired off at the little girl were stuck by some small object, which moved faster then they could blink.Soon, the barrels of each gun fell to the ground, as it had sliced them clean off! "Attacking a child!?! That.....Is unforgivable!!" Yumi, the Samurai in training suddenly back flipped over them, and as she did already her katana was in hand, slicing through the Soldiers stomachs and sending them to the floor. As she landed perfectly, not seconds later did she strike her blade at the others, working her way up to the ones near Aliya. In a matter of moments, they were down. No one shoots off a weapon at a child..
It was then that Azura appeared in the room, a tad bit late! She had been so busy teleporting animals from Serenity Island to a safer area of the island that wasn't flooded under water. Sadly for her, there were many lost lives of animals of all kinds. She had not once taken a break, until she -finally- felt something going on with Nami. Looking from Nami, to Yumi, the blue haired Princess looked completely confused, exhausted and kind of hurt that she wasn't the one to get here in time to help her daughter. "...What...happened? " She asked in a tired, yet worried tone before looking to the women who was suddenly starting to wake up, though she seemed in pain around her head where she was now rubbing the back of just where she was hit earlier.
"...Those bad guys were taking that lady into that weird thing...I don't know her but I know they're the bad ones. They were treating her like garbage when she was sleeping..So I wanted to help her, they wouldn't listen to I attacked first annnnddd......that happened?" Nami then ran over to the women, getting to her knees and looking up at her. "Are you okay?" She asked softly, giving her a small heal for her head injure which was actually bleeding up until she healed her. She seemed to be the only one who could be injured.. "Mama, We should go take her somewhere safe..! Bef--err..um....B-behind you..!" Many, Many Soldiers armed to the T, were rushing in behind them, surrounding the group as they were now all targetted with more sets of guns, far more then even Yumi and the other three could handle. One wrong move and they could all be dead in seconds. Each had a small red dot on there foreheads, which meant very bad if they moved.
"Move, and you all die. Throw down you're weapons!" One of the Soliders said suddenly, looking toward Yumi first, seeing as she was the only one who phyically was armed.
"...Can you teleport? " She whispered to Azura. She had rarely ever been in such a situation like this, like, ever. But when it involved guns, Yumi knew there wasn't much she could do against them,and against so many.
"I can but...I've been using..so much energy to teleport ..animals to safe area's after my Island was stricken by a Tsunami..Let's just say that right now...It's hard to even stand..! I don't know if I have enough energy in me to get us out of here, and...It takes a few moments...They'll kill us before the spells completed..." She said into Yumi's mind, keeping her hands out to make sure they knew she was unarmed, while Yumi began to toss out her weapons..many of them..First was the obvious, her two katana which were still covered in blood from the other Soldier's she took down. Then the smaller ones, ninja stars, Small Shurikens, and many other ninja like weapons. She was just skilled in everything just about! Last was her bow and arrows. It took at least five whole minutes to remove all her weapons!! Once she was done, she gradually scooted closer to Azura, letting her balance her weight onto her some as it looked as though she were ready to fall over any moment! The last teleport to get here just killed her little remaining energy...

Sorceress of Serenity Aliya Aliya watched the whole thing unfold before her, these people were putting there self in danger just to save her?....Someone who did bad things,harmed and even killed others just because she had to listen to her sisters? Or perhaps she was just to blind and weak to really understand, she didn't have to do any of that. She could have somehow left them in the past, sneaked away, hid away...Even though she would of been hunted by them for the rest of her life of her life threatened, it was better then being thought of and known as a person who killed. She had to find a way to get them out of here, even if it meant her own death, she had to. No one else would die because of her! "....Thank you..." She whispered to the ladys and child next to her, before a glitting dust of glitter began to flow up from her, just enough to cause a distraction to herself and get everyone's weapons aimed on her. Just at that very second, she used what power she had to teleport all the girls out before a spray of bullets flew at her! She too, disappeared just as one grazed her thigh and struck her shoulder, before anymore could hit any more vital area's of her body, she was gone...only to soon reappear with the others she had teleported away to a place called Fisherman's Horizon...

 Future Isan "You don't have a clue what I've been through... That smile will never be seen again...." The man had ran until he was far from the Island,really far.Now Isan was roaming through the Desert , a kind and happy expression on his face,running had taken his mind of it all. However that didn't seem to last very long,as he realized he had walked into a Familiar looking town. One that had been here for quite a long time it seemed, because it had grown in with its surroundings. Which happened to be connected to the Sorceress Memorial now, like it had assimilated itself.Sudden sadness overwhelmed him, his silver hair covered his eyes. And people began to leave their home, some with weapons, guns, blades,chains. Someone yelled at him with much anger and hatred," We knew you'd appear here to cause us more pain! Even in a new world you still find us! You monstrous fiend!" A child was behind the one yelling and he threw a rock at the man, it smacked against his face and his head turned, a bit of blood began to trickle down the side of his forehead, and swung the chains forward," Even if you survive here. The people of this world now know of your deeds! " The chain stabbed into the ground and flew from the and wrapped around Isan's arms and hands jerking him to the ground. He fell to his knees his face covered the blood dripping into the sand. Quiet muttering was heard but none of them would know what was being said. "Everyone, take aim with your guns. This Demon will die a thousand deaths for the hundreds and hundreds of lives he has taken!" The sounds of may guns cocking were heard around him, people behind the gun wielders were muttering things. " It will pay.""Kill the freak!""Don't let it escape!"The Children were all pushed away from the scene, not wanting them to see the blood shed that was about to come to pass. "Any last words?" And the moment he said that he added,"Your words aren't even worth hearing, FIRE!" The sounds of many guns echoed throughout the desert, Isans body lurched and flinched when each bullet went into him, however these bullets were different. And something he hadn't done or felt in years surged through him, and he screamed in so much pain,"!!!!" His eyes glowed and changed to a red color for a moment, but he bit down on his lip blood began to run from his body and his lips and he was shaking in pain.The cloak he wore was ripping as more bullets were fired into him, his body felt as though it were burning,'Your pain, does it hurt?Should I take it away?Like that one time before?'It was a dark demented voice, on the wall nearby was a Picture, it had a image of Isan, the name however was blank, other than the words,"A True Monster...." A hour passed of this, and Isans body was seen his cloths tattered and his body riddled with scars, his body healing there, the wounds closing. But the scars remained. A permanent reminder of what people can do when they are full of Anger, and hatred. The towns people were sitting down now,they looked tired,"Leave him there, don't feed him,let the monster starve." They left into their homes, all of them giving disapproving looks as they went inside. 'My Pain means nothing to me...Why do you inflict it on me...' The dark voice in his head replied,' Because the more pain you feel,the more inclined you are.To Breaking...'

  "Squall, you're the one who gives me the most comfort. Comfort and happiness... And annoyance and disappointment, too!"  - Rinoa Heartilly -"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"   Rinoa had left Midgar some time ago, This young sorceress was well known for not being able to stand still for long, or in one single place for any longer. Her need to get out into the world always got the best of her, specially when she had no real reason to stick around. With Squall being busy, or distant as he usually was, she was always left alone, so why stay around, right? For what ever reason, her feet had walked one very long distance, and to a place she didn't care to much about seeing. The old Sorceress Memorial had taken to a small change, a town, very small, now was around it. Odd, but, whatever. As long as it was safe.
Then came the sounds of screams, which got the Sorceress's attention right away. The feeling she got from the screams actually sent chills down her own spine. With that, her need to protect would kick in, her wings now appearing behind her as she suddenly lifted up from the ground, flying off into that direction.
As she got there, she would see the source of screams, covered in blood. She could feel the presence of those who had done this to him, and that was it. The very people who pulled the triggers of the guns, and those who hurt him would all suddenly freeze, no matter where they are, safe inside there home? No luck to them. They're feet froze to the ground, and their bodies would start to freeze...Torture. Judging, she hated it all!
Multiple colored orbs began to flow over Isan, as she cast a Curaga spell on him.
 
    "I don't want the future.. I just want the present to stand still.. So I can stay here with you." ((ooc: ))

Future Isan "You don't have a clue what I've been through... That smile will never be seen again...." Isan sat there chained to the ground, the silver haired one lifted his head up weakly. The voice inside his head had vanished now, and as the Curaga surrounded him. Nothing seemed to happen. Other than his wounds closing like they had been quite old. The young Man spoke, his voice calm but worried," Don't kill them please!" He looked back down to the ground the chains rattled," Enough Lifes have been lost because of me. Please..." He looked to her now, and recognized her almost Immediately."Please Rinoa..." The people who started to freeze panicked, and one of them yelled out," That man is a Monster! Hes!" His mouth was starting to freeze now.
"In the end,I just got tired, tired of the struggle. Tired of losing them all,tired of watching..everything turn to dust."

Did it work?" Rinoa turned to Isan, kneeling down now as she took hold of the chains, or one set of them at least. There was a little more then she could take at once yet. "Why....why are you defending them?! Those people tried to kill you. I don't care to fight, or enjoy it, I don't want to kill anyone, but, When others attack one single person, unarmed and had done nothing to even remotely deserve such a thing, I will do what I must! And right now...." Her words were suddenly stopped at the voice of another, but his words were unable to be completed as the freeze took full affect. He would stay that way, for a short time. Not enough to kill them, but enough to cause them a good deal of great amounts of pain. "Monster? Who are YOU to judge! He has done nothing wrong, I can see that clearly. It is you, all of who you choose to judge him and attack, that are the true monsters! I don't know what happened, what past tradgity happened, but I know you have no right judging him. You do not even know if his actions were his own. There are people out there in this world and other worlds who can take control of ones mind. Think about -that- before you judge!! " Rinoa yelled, those frozen would hear her, just wouldn't be able to say anything obviously, until that freeze would ware off. With that said, she turned back to begin and try to free him of the chains..
"I won't forgive them..I don't care what happened, whatever it was, was in the past, I can see you are not someone who would cause anyone pain, don't give into them like this..Don't ever give up!"
"I don't want the future.. I just want the present to stand still.. So I can stay here with you." ((ooc: ))

I can't die..." He looked up at her again as she took the chains,they'd easily break in her hands. And he said," Rinoa..." He thought about it, and knew exactly what to say after a moment," They are from another World a well, just like you... And." Before he said anything else, his eyes shut tight and he bit his lip, and said," I am a Monster, I may not have done anything wrong now. But in the past I have. Please, I wont ask you to forgive them. Just not to kill them, " The rest of the chains fell off him and he began to stand, he didnt wobble. And he said," One day, you will need to take your own Advice." He gave her a kind smile,and he said without hesitation yet again." They do not know any better. They were raised to hate and fear me, the very same way people hate Jenova now, and in the future.Like many other enemies of Gaia. Or others.." The others meant the Sorceress, he knew not all of them were evil. He also knew things he shouldn't have, or he didnt want to know them. His Silver was on the ground, and he said," Im glad you showed up though..." He was afraid this place would become like the three before, and this time, it would have been much worse.

Did it work?"   Rinoa listened to what he had to say, all of it being something she didn't agree with. "You let there words be believable to you. They are untrue, and I don't even know you, but I know just by looking at you, you are a good person. " The freeze affect on those she had frozen, was slowly starting to wear down and begin to melt away. "No..I know the things I've done in the future already, horrible things, but....I would never let anyone bend my mind into thinking that way of myself.." By now, her wings too began to disappear, and her appearance would return to normal.

Future Isan "You don't have a clue what I've been through... That smile will never be seen again...." Isan frowned more at her words, and he asked slowly," I may be a Good Person." He put a hand over his heart" But throughout my life, I have learned somethings. Like that everyone has a Darkside. Just like everyone has the Light, or had." He closed his scared eyes and then opened them again putting a hand on her shoulder saying,"Thank you Rinoa. But, I can't change how I think.Not yet anyway." He gave her a sudden kind smile,and the people who had been inside and were unfreezing looked relieved but the fear in their eyes never left along with their anger. When they started to unfreeze, some of them grabbed their rifles and ran to a window , one of them actually took aim and fired at Rinoa since she had helped Isan, and froze them.

Did it work?" "Yes, that is true. We all have our own mix of darkness and light, but that doesn't change who we truly are. No matter what anyone says to you, or what you believe, you are still you, and more of the light then dark. You can't let people decide who you are, or fall for there cruel words like this. " Rinoa said again, sighing softly. She really wasn't sure how to change his mind, he was just as stubborn as she was! Just as she was about to comment on what he said last, she felt the sting of a bullet strike her in the shoulder. Thank god for people with bad aim! Turning as she cringed a little, Rinoa's eyes fell upon the one who pulled the trigger, and he would see her hand raise. Uh oh! Since he was inside, she decided not to use what she first thought of, Firaga, she'd not want to be the cause of burning someone's home down, specially if it caught the other homes and burnt the entire town down. So, the first thing he would feel was the tinge of electricity start to flow down his body, before the stronger bolt would reach him, giving him one good shocking but not killing him.
"Anyone else want to try that! It's not very nice to attack a SORCERESS! Or her friends! " She said suddenly, fully set on scaring them a great deal had they not known what she was.After that, she quickly cast Curaga on herself.
"I don't want the future.. I just want the present to stand still.. So I can stay here with you." ((ooc: ))

Isans eyes had been wide after all was said and the trigger was pulled, he spoke slowly," We should go, I don't think this is a good place to be. Sorceress or not..." The others there had took a step back, and when she yelled the word Sorceress some Esthar Soldiers had heard from inside the Memorial. The Silver haired man touched the remain of the coat he had and frowned, the person who made it was long gone. And he closed his eyes now, and looked up to Rinoa,"Can you um.Teleport?"
