I absolutely HATE sharpening my colored pencils because it becomes smaller and the sharpener I use eats away at a lot of it. It breaks my heart I'm getting sick and tired of it, any suggestions for a new sharpener?

If you're using an electric pencil sharpener, stop! Electric pencil sharpeners will destroy your pencil. They're meant to sharpen cheap no.2 pencils, not precious art supplies.
Try getting one of those little sharpeners that you use by hand. Those work best, I've found.
