Fog-Lile Omega is rather small, compared to the other planets in the sector-- it's just barely larger than the former moon of planet Earth. While the climate is surprisingly tolerable, if a bit on the cold and moist side, it is little more than a glorified ball of space dust with an atmosphere, making it ill-suited to raising livestock.

The planet's residents, however, have adapted to this, and in order to keep pace with the other planets in the sector, have become specialists in food production, processing, and preparation. It plays home to several plants responsible for distribution of a wide variety of foods, both natural and artificial, ranging from meat and dairy to produce, grains, and even sweets. It also serves as the headquarters of the top culinary school in the galaxy, which has trained many of the galaxy's most sought-after celebrity chefs.
