Today was the first day in what seemed like months maybe even longer than that, that Terrance had been out on his own. Until now he had been to worried about his family to leave them by their lonesome. It wasn't until yesterday when his daughter Shirlyn told him to go out and enjoy himself that he actually considered leaving her and her mother . Leaving her near the forest that came that's branches a trees come to life hoping to eat you alive as soon as you sent foot inside its trails. Though then he realized as much as he loved his family he missed his adventures. He missed having new tales to tell and maybe now he'd finally find some. That was what he thought as he walked onto a grassy field miles and miles away from a place he had helped raise is children. This was his chance for a new adventure... "I wonder where I shall go today," he started with his british accented voice as chipper as he could. Pushing all thoughts of his family to the back of his mind and only thinking of what lie ahead. He had no idea where he was heading though and was to busying having his head in the clouds or his view of the world to watch where he was headed.

Melanie breathed a sigh of relief, it was such a nice day. The sun was shinning, the multi-colored flowers made the field smell wonderful. Her whole attitude was light and airy and it helped keep her spirits and hopes for the future high.
Her dark mane blew gently in the breeze and as she flung herself in a patch of wild flowers she giggled as her white bangs tickled her cheeks. It had been so long since she could just relax and enjoy the world around her. She had, had so much weight on her shoulders and with recent events, she was able to just drop most of that and LIVE! Be the mare she once was and dearly missed. ((I'm sorry it took so long, I've been severely sick lately, BUT I'M BACK!))

Terrance just kept walking along in the beautiful grass wondering what stories it had to tell. Could this land have some tales he hadn't heard yet he wondered in his mind. As he continued to walk with his head risen towards the sky. "My its beautiful out," he whispered to the wind as he suddenly moved his head back down to eye view.
That was when he noticed something, at first he thought it might just be part of the flowers. Since he could see what seemed almost like a glowing beauty, the kind he normally could see in flowers. Though the closer he looked the more he realized that it really was a mare playing in a patch of beautiful flowers. "oh my," he whispered to himself as he watched her for a couple of seconds pausing in his walk. "This could be a grand story that is just waiting to be told," he said aloud under his breath.
As he saw her laugh a smile grew on her face, she was so free and happy. The two things he knew he needed to be more often, especially now that he was adventuring on his own at the moment. Maybe this mare could help him achieve those things and find a new story to tell he thought, since she definitely had what he had been looking for.
Slowly he moved himself towards the mare and once he was close enough he spoke, "well hello mi'lady I am sorry for the intrusion, But I was wondering if you would you mind if I join you?" A glowing smile grew on his face as he finished speaking, and slightly started at the mare before him. ((Its fine welcome back! I'm sorry for the wait also, I just got over being sick myself. x3))

Melanie sighed contently, her eyes fluttering closed as she just took in the cool breeze and warm heat of the sun. Absolutely Perfect!
It was then she heard a male voice. With an odd accent that she found kinda sexy. Pale blue eyes popped open to stare at the stranger and she smiled. "Hi there" she said with a wink. "I don't mind, just enjoying the lovely day." A single red flower stood in front of her vision, she tilted her muzzle and plucked the stem with her teeth before turning over to sit upright. Tossing the flower at his feet she grinned up at him. "What are doin', stranger?"
Her eyes took in his appearance, white with splashes of tan and hair the color of coal. What a cutie! Definitely something that suited him well.

Terrance's face lite up a bit brighter as he heard the mares voice. She was so full of life it seemed, and she had such a wonderful way of speaking. The way she spoke was so different from his own he realized quickly, as her beautifully colored pale blue eyes popped open.
"Well I'm pleased to hear that, and today it is simply wonderful out," he said kindly as he bent his mouth down to pick up the flower at his feet. He chuckled a bit after he grabbed it and bent down quickly to lay in the wild flowers beside the mare.
He gently placed the flower in between them and smiled once again towards the mare though this time a half grin. "I am out in search of adventure and to just enjoy life," he said happily breathing in the fresh air like a foal taking his first breath. "Though a real question might be, what is a beautiful young maiden like yourself doing out here in the middle of who might know where?" He questioned her kindly as he tried to examine her for the first time. Though as he did he tried to his best not to make it appear like a rude examination.
As he looked her up an down he saw how unique her two maybe even three colored hair was. A mare that had so many colors present on them was already what he would call pretty, though the more he looked the more he saw. She had what looked to almost be a scarf like his but small and darker. What is that around her neck he wondered quietly, as he thought to himself "I think this really may be just the person i was looking for..."
As his thought passed he realized he was being rude staring at her like that. So he looked back up into her sparkling eyes and awaited her lovely answers to come.
