Hod wandered in casually, weapons adorning him. He walked down the dock from ship to ship seeing if any would take him but so far he had met no luck. He set down his pack and looked around."So much for the luck of the Irish." He pulled a cigarette from a case in his pocket and lit it on a nearby torch."Can't even find me a ship to get me off this rock."

 Captain Paloma DelmarYou may allow your hands to wonder...Paloma walked off her ship and on to the busy dock, it had been a long day for everyone it seemed. A loud sigh over came her as she said unconciously to herself, "Better now, than never." As she walked along side the other ships, an unusual young man caught her eye. He held what looked to be a cigarette in his hand and from his facial expression, seemed to be quite down-hearted and a tad bit frustrated. As she approched him, she could see he wasn't from around her, his foreign appearance was rather attractive. "Why the long face?" she asked with a smile, just before stepping infront of him. ...but be warned my trigger is not far behind.

Hod pulled the cigarette from his lips and smiled,"Because me mother was a horse." He flicked the almost done cigarette into the water."I'm lookin' for a ship to take me anywhere but here.Butt so far I've 'ad no luck, would try a navy ship but...we don't get along." He lit another and put it in his mouth." Hod Aesir mam',what be your name?"

Captain Paloma DelmarYou may allow your hands to wonder...A smirk appeared on her face at his joke, as she moved forward toward him. With a swift gesture she grabbed the cigarette he had been smoking and placed it into her mouth, “Well seems like your luck is changing.” She took the cigarette from her lips and smiled, “My name is Paloma Delmar… Captian Paloma Delmar,” the words came from her mouth with an aura of confidence....but be warned my trigger is not far behind.

Hod stood and smiled, pulling out another Cig and lighting it." Well, I believe your my lass. Hod Aesir,warrior and...'Sailor' by teaching.Bard by trade, may I ask if I may accompany you...And if so where are ye' goin', and when are you goin' there?" He took a long drag and gave a mischievous grin.

"Well Hod, how experienced are ye with this conditions?" she asked him gesturing to the sky. Black clouds seemed to be replacing the blue above them, in seconds. ...but be warned my trigger is not far behind.

Hod laughed," Sorry Lass. I just find it funny." He gestured to the sky." I'm from Ireland, this is a once a year kind of beautiful day in my home. If anything you should be asking how I am in clear weather."His accent was deep but still understandable.

Hod took a long drag and let it out slow. " A boat it freedom, and escape from the world. A flag is just a piece of cloth, nothing more. If someone gives me problems I'm a little more likely to throw them off the boat, but no problems." He stood and handed Paloma another Cigarette." You still haven't answered my question.

Captain Paloma DelmarYou may allow your hands to wonder...Impressed with his answer she nodded in a gesture of approval. "Looks to me we'll get along just fine, as long as ye don't cause me to throw ye overboard,” Paloma winked in a playful manner, a slight seriousness still in her voice. She then reached for the cigarette being handed to her, with a thanking smile. "Well I was thinkin' of stayin' here for a couple of days, while we recruit some more crew,” she said as she turned her head slightly upward, as if she were trying to recall a memory, "and afterwards.... ye'll find out." She turned to look at Hod as she finished her thought....but be warned my trigger is not far behind.

Hod smiled" Well now tha's somthin'. He took a final drag and flicked it in the water." How 'bout I tag along with you 'till we find out, aye?" He lifted his pack, his sword at his hip and his armor on and the rest of his equipment stuck slightly out of his pack.
