Topic: New games.
Discuss: Fun? Lame?
Which do you prefer, Backyard Monsters or Resort World? Is neither game any good? I find that neither are terribly original personally. Also I don't care for how you have to wait for resources/money to accumulate, but that's why I prefer action games, I'm not very patient. And like everything on Gaia now, they keep bugging you to buy their game currency with your IRL money. And you can't earn gold playing them like a lot of the other new games. Despite all the flaws they are kinda fun, in that simple, addicting internet game way.
Edit: BTW anyone who plays resort world can add/should add me to their friendlist, definitly a game where the more of your friends who play it the better.

I haven't played them, they don't particularly appeal to me. Sometimes I might play Jigsaw if I'm bored and need the gold, or Tiles when I decide I want tickets.

Spider the bounty hunter I haven't played any of them...something about having to create an account or something like that threw me off...but I play tiles and word bump and zOMG from time to time confused You have to create a facebook account for monster galaxy, which is gay. As for the omgpop games, they're confusing and never work right for me anyways. But there are no accounts or anything for the two new Viximo games, you can just start playing. I've decided I like resort world better of the two, it's a lot like roller coaster tycoon and I used to love that game.

Carbo: They're not original. They're simply facebook games, to work on Gaia, without using your facebook login. That's it.
I do like Monster Backyard, though. I like building/strategy games like these.

I like building/strategy games like these. Ohhh. Didn't know that, I never use my facebook, even for what I originally signed up for (staying in touch with my school friends), and I certainly never play facebook games. Though it expains why the in-game currency runs about the same rate of irl money as monster galaxy.

D; I have gotten so addicted to Backyard Monsters. It's remarkably similar to one of my old favorites, Empire Earth. Resort World, on the other hand, I find confusing and not as fun. Maybe it's just 'cause I like my little monsters. xD
