Does anyone else happen to have an early access (Beta) Pottermore account? I don't have any friends on there yet and I was kind of hoping to only be friends with people I actually 'know'.

If you do I would love it if you posted your name so that I could add you or that I knew it was you when you tried to add me.

what is pottermore? i'm 99% sure it has to do with harry potter, but after that, i'm clueless.

I have heard people mention Pottermore before, but I have no idea what it is... Anyone cares to explain? ^^

It's a website (link) that is meant to let you 'live' through the Harry Potter series. It's really cool, you get a wand and you get sorted into a house (I'm a Ravenclaw). You earn house points and you have to do different things. Some parts of it are a little boring. The really interesting part is that you can discover hidden information, like background stories that JK wrote about different characters and things like that.

...Okay - it's a site for really big HP dorks like myself sweatdrop
I totally spent all day yesterday on it.

It more closely follows the books. As of right now you won't be able to get an account unless you already did early registration because it's in the Beta stages. It's totally open in October though and you guys should join me whee
