 Fisherman's Horizon (フィッシャーマンズホライズン, Fishāmanzuhoraizun), occasionally abbreviated FH, is a location in Final Fantasy VIII. The town is located midway between the eastern and western continents aside the large intercontinental bridge, known as the Horizon Bridge. The town is filled with fishermen and skilled mechanics, some of whom helped build Balamb Garden. The town is neutral, and is strictly opposed to war and conflict.
Fisherman's Horizon was built by the dissatisfied engineers who were active during the time of Esthar's development. They decided to abandon their homeland and build a new city elsewhere. The town was named by the man who had played an important role in breaking away from Esthar. Those involved in the town's construction have grown old, but the town has reached the point of seeing its first genuinely native generation grow up. The town was built on the old railroad station used to cross the sea, and ruins of that structure still remain.
Fisherman's Horizon is located in the middle of the ocean, with Galbadia to the west and Esthar to the east. The town is small, lightly populated, and sees little immigration, although on occasion people from the Galbadian continent, attempting to cross to Esthar, have made their permanent residence here. The buildings are made out of recycled materials, and the town's energy is provided by windmills and solar-panels. As the town mayor is a strict pacifist, the town has no militia or weapons, and disputes are solved through discussion. Horizon Bridge"A railroad that connected the East and West continents. Completed about the time the war broke out, it was only used a short time. Since then it has been derelict." Horizon Bridge is the name of the intercontinental railway bridge that connects Galbadia and Esthar. Ever since the Sorceress War erupted, the Horizon Bridge has been out of operation, stalling all hopes for people to see the wonders of these two continents. Horizon Bridge's appearance on the larger world map is reminiscent of the Big Bridge in Final Fantasy V which also spans two continents across ocean.  Drunkman AlleyThe Drunkman Alley is the name given to Fisherman's Horizon's Hotel/Item store overlooking one of the Horizon's many wharfs. While its accommodations may seem crude in comparison to most other hotels around the world of Final Fantasy VIII, the Drunkman Alley does provide access to a News Screen from, which patrons can freely watch to follow the happenings of the world.  Sun PanelThe sun panel is located at the center of the Horizon and is thought to be the main power supplier for the settlement. Bolstered by wind fans and possible water refineries, Fisherman's Horizon possesses a massive power network.  Mayor's ResidenceThe Mayor's Residence is located at the center of the Sun Panel. Accommodated by Mayor Dobe and his wife/supporter Flo, the residence has been built next to the Horizon's only visible tree.  FH Train StationThe now run-down station that served as a halfway point on the Horizon Bridge. The FH Train Station now only serves as scrap metal ready for any mechanic who has found themselves needing a little more.

Sorceress of Serenity Aliya     Aliya, Azura, Nami and Yumi all came to appear on the massive sun panel of Fisherman's Horizon. It was clear by now, she was done with those sisters, for them to bring her to such a place, and say what she did, she was just done. She would no longer take part in harming anyone, though nothing would ever take away the pain she had caused on any she had harmed in the past, nothing would fix that, and it would always remain within her conciseness. Azura dropped to her knees the moment they appeared, eventually just getting as comfortable as she could to lay there on the panel, the others doing the same so they would all catch a break, seeing as the Princess there needed it. The weather here was cloudy, and hazy with heavy fog above them. As they laid there looking up to the foggy surroundings, it did look pretty strange. It was as though they were laying in the sky and looking straight up at clouds. "I'm..going to sleep....." Azura said, closing her eyes and almost instantly just falling into a deep sleep! Poor thing was tired...The others just relaxed for the time being, while Nami scooted over closer to her mother and rested there next to her. Even in this time she did a lot to the point of extreme fatigue. Not that she could blame her, she would have done the same thing if she was in the area. All those poor animals...

As the group fell asleep that night there on the massive sun panel, the rain began to suddenly make it's presence known as it poured down into the town. The ones that woke up from the wetness and cold were Nami and Aliya as well as Yumi. But, still sleeping soundly and peacefully was Azura! Meanwhile, with the heavy down poor of rain the panel was starting to fill up quite quickly. Soon it would turn into a swimming pool if they didn't get out of it! The water was already starting to cover the sleeping princess up to her waist, but she still slept!
"Uh oh...I gots the feeling she won't be waking up anytime soon..Once, she slept for a while week when she over exhausted herself chasing a bunch of whalers..Nothing could wake her up, sooo she might be asleep for a week or two.." Nami frowned, poking at her mother a few times.. "Mama! Wake up! " Nothing.. She poked her again, nothing.."She's so wierd...Normally she does this in the ocean, buuut...Guess she was really tired! Oh!..Right....Um...Were like, mermaids and stuff...Sept she can't breath under water in human form so we kinda don't want to leave her here.." She said with a small nervous laugh, why was it so funny!? A bomb could go off, and she could still sleep right through it. An earth quake could happen, and she still wouldn't wake up!
The young Sorceress blinked at the two, listening to the little girl explain something rather strange to her.Mermaids? They were mermaids? That was one of the strangest things she'd ever heard! "..Well...Okay then..! Um..How do we wake her then?" She went over, looking at the sleeping teen there and wondering how the heck anyone can sleep during such a thing. She shook her shoulders lightly, still thinking there had to be some way to wake her up when! A crashing bolt of lightning struck nearby the panel! "Think we need to get off this thing or we'll be electrocuted if that hits us!" Just as the water was about to reach over Azura's neck, Aliya picked her up, and teleported the group there out of the panel, Just at the very second another bolt struck, right IN the panel! What great timing that was. So, they teleported to a slightly safer area, the Mayor's Residence. She had no idea who the people were inside, and was about to wish she didn't take that for there shelter against the storm!

Upon arriving there in the unknown home, Aliya set Azura down into the only sofa she could find in this ever so strange building. What kind of home was this? Edea's house, a destroyed hunk of ruins looked better then this one in her opinion! "Well! There! Now we have shelt---"
"Who do you think you are?!! Barging into our home in such a way!! All of you, Get Out! " A mans voice boomed, he did not sound very happy. What a surprise. It made Aliya jump just about out of her skin! "No one enters our home with out permission..How dare you!" Yeah, the meyor was a jerk beyond words! He didn't care that there was a little girl with them or the fact they were all ladys. He just didn't want -anyone- in his home!
"...Uh...Have you LOOKED outside? There's some massive storm out there, I think it would be safer for us to---"
"LEAVE NOW!" The man went up to the group,placing his hand on Nami and! Working on pushing the little one out rougher then he needed to be, next was Yumi, then he approached Aliya.
"...You know, by shoving a harmless kid out of you're home, you're a disturbed man...We'll leave, but first..." Her scarf floated up around her, and suddenly wrapped around the man tightly, even tighter then the time she got Reo in it. Squeezing him into a death grip, she just wanted to give him a good scare, and maybe have him learn some manors in the process. "Don't...ever shove a child!! " Then, the scarf released him, letting him drop to the ground gasping for air as she went over and picked Azura back up again before joining with the others in the pouring rain! "...Where is a safe place to go? "

After Azura left, Everyone just kinda stood there in the rain with dumbfunded looks upon there faces. She was like, half dead in sleep and yet the only thing that seemed to wake her was the dangers that were appraoching whales! There cries woke her....How..strange! Yumi glanced down at Nami, then to Aliya questioningly. "...So....what now? Do you think you can um...teleport us back to Midgar? And can you at all find Azura? I mean....would you be able to sense where she is right now? I think she's a bit insane..Once her sudden adrenalin rushe wears off she'll go back into a zombie mode, or whatever you want to call that!" "...Yes, I can take us to Midgar, as for Azura...She's at sea right now. Seems to be fine..Don't worry! I'll keep a watch on her and if that happens i'll bring her back to us again.." So with that said, Aliya quickly teleported the group back to Midgar City.

Tobie Geraldine I do what I want when I want! so stay out of my way! Tobie and leviathan soon arived at a town at sea, a fishermen sat out trying to fish when he saw the young boy on the water then to his surprise being launched up onto the platform near then to see a massive sea serpent, then simply stood up and walked away,Tobie looked to Leviathan and smiled "ok bye bye levi!" then the sea serpent vanished and Tobies necklace glew a bright blew hue then he just sped off into the town seeing many fishermen and grinned, soon after a group of fisherme were running away from the small child as he chased them yelling "How dare you kill leviathans children!" I love running every were to see every thing! It's no fun being cooped up all the time! Perpetual motion the image wont focus

But here in this moment like the eye of the storm
It all became clear to me
I found a shoulder to lean on

Tobie Geraldine I do what I want when I want! so stay out of my way! Tobie had chased the group of fishermen to the very edge of the platform and they were cornered behind them the ocean infront of them was Tobie he ginned at them then on stood forward saying Come on kid what did we do to you! then tobie just kicked him right off the edge into the ocean "You are killing leviathans childern!!" then he turned to the rest of the fishermen they looked to eachother then turned around and jumped into the ocean not wanting to mess with this kid! Tobie grinned then turned around and sped off into the town, like he hasnt caused enough trouble for this fishing town now he was hunting for food! he had the gil but if he saw another evil fishermen he would do the same to him as he did to the others!I love running every were to see every thing! Tobie turned back to see a girl about his age running after him saying the should be partners but he had already had a partner, leviathan, but his telekentic link with the sea serpent had the serpent telling him he should make friends, wich he actually liked the idea "Ok! but i only help leviathans children! i like cow meat, and pig!"I love running every were to see every thing! Tobie looked to the girl she seemed so distressed about him eating meat, but this is were his intelect comes into play, he may have been the most high energy kid around, but he was very smart for his age he looked to her with a smile and said "Well plants live too, they have a life like animals do, so killing them to eat is just as bad, the cirlce of life may not be fair, but its how it is unfortunatly, i wont eat fish because Leviathan is my friend, i will protect them because they are his children but im no friend of behemoth and zan so i'll eat they're children"((LOL leviathan behemoth and zan are from a hebrew religion that i was reading about last semester so i thought eh i'll use them)) I love running every were to see every thing!
