After 10 months, I am finally finished with the cross-stitching on the baby quilt I've been working on. All that's left is the detailing. I apologize for the picture quality. My phone's camera is crappy, but I cleaned it up the best I could; still doesn't do the real thing justice, though.
UPDATE!
It's fully finished and on its way to mother and baby, and I certainly hope they like it!
And a close-up of the stitching...

OMG! That's BEAUTIFUL! Whoever the lucky baby is, it will be an heirloom that they will pass on to their kids...

Haha, I hope so. It being from a kit and all, I'm not so sure about the durability, you know?
But thank you! ^_^

That is so beautiful - I am almost jealous of the baby who gets it.
You said it was from a kit - did you keep the pattern? If you ever get 'inspired' to do another, as long as you have the pattern, you can always buy floss & fabric...or you could even single out one (or two) of the animals & do a small picture / wall hanging of just that part.

It did turn out pretty well for a first project. ^____^
I kept the pattern and all of the leftover floss. I've decided no more baby quilts, though, no matter how much my aunt tries to guilt me into finishing the one my nana started. It has become clear to me that I despise stamped cross-stitch. .____.

Ah...I understand that! I personally don't care for it either. I prefer counted cross-stitch.

Oh, me too. I find it much less stressful and I don't stab myself as often.
