Overview:

CALM:
Neil is a very calm type most of the time on the out side at least. He can hold his composure most of the time. Of course he's not perfect and DOES slip up and get angry but really Neil isn't one to rage often.

DRY HUMOR:
Neil has a very dry sense of humor. Often times its hard to tell when hes joking or jokes go over peoples heads. He gives props to those that do pick up on his jokes or can make one that makes him laugh.

STUCK UP:
Neil can seem very stuck up. For one he doesn't go out of his way all the time to make friends with EVERYONE. He's a little selective (based on coolness not class) with who he actually likes to hang out. If you're a fluffy happy bouncy type then chances are hes not gonna like you. (Sorry Charlie) Part of him knows he comes across this way but mostly he doesn't care and finds it a little funny.

EVERYTHING SUCKS:
Lets face it. Neil doesn't always think everything sucks that would mean he'd have to think HE sucked too. But for the most part everything does suck. Neil, at times, can have a very shitty attitude about most things. Let him rain on your parade and he will like a mother ******** usually is very untrusting of most people and their motives. Why did so-and-so bother to hold the door open for him today? Why did so-and-so give him five bucks for coffee. Bet so-and-so just wants me to do something in return. This is Neils thought process for the most part.

BLUNT:
Whether he disapproves of you or really likes you chances are he'll eventually say something to you if hes given the chance. He's by no means shy about his feelings.

SOFTY:
He's not soft for boils but ghouls can make him melt. Specially a sad ghoul. He's one of the first to sit next to a ghoul and just let her cry and listen to her problems. That doesn't mean he understands them. Really, Neil doesn't understand your problems ghouls. But he'd try his best to fix them even if he does it wrong.

A GUY:
At the end of the day, Neil is a guy. He still finds farts funny and he likes to chill with his friends and talk about dat a** on that one ghoul he may like.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
He has no cool or tragic story. He just wanted to learn how to better himself honestly. Living in the shadows of his brothers going after their dreams has prompted to go after his, only to out do them and make sure his is much better. Neil really has an interest in expanding his piano and keyed instrument knowledge along with scaring hoo-mons.

FEAR:
Spinning Death Roll - Neil's strength and speed are greatly increased through his fear. He latches on to a limb of his opponent and spins them round and round and round. Can cause dizziness for both parties.

Likes:
Meats of any kind - Long as it had a pulse of some sort and was not green or leafy chances are that Neil will very much enjoy eating it.

Music- He likes a broad span of music but he likes music even more so if its something no ones ever heard of.

Ghouls - I wouldn't say he's a romantic at all. But he really does like the ladies. He's really not a flirt but he'll happily keep a cute ghoul company any day of the week.

Dislikes:
Vegetables - Bleh. Get that stuff off his plate its unnatural to eat such a thing!

Know it alls- Neil might be able to tolerate a know it all a little more if its a ghoul. But boils get no tolerance at all from the gimblewolf. Know it all does not mean some one who really is smart and gets good grades. A know it all to Neil is someone who constantly corrects people for no reason.

Clingy Ghouls - So despite liking ghouls a lot, the gimblewolf HATES it when a girl feels the need to be clingy. This doesn't mean hanging on to his arm or touching him. This means calling him, texting him, waiting for him at the end of every one of his classes and feeling the need to touch him EVERY time your around him. These kinds of ghouls drive him nuts and make him want to hide in his room.

Hobbies/ Talents:
Piano - He's dabbled in all keyed instruments. When he was little his parents had him practice piano almost daily and now he's moved those skills over to the keyboard and the keytar. Keyboard is his favorite to use but he really enjoys using a keytar too. Keyed instruments just make sense to the guy.

Frisbee - In human form or in beast form, Neil loves to play frisbee. Specially frisbee golf in human form. But theres something special about catching a frisbee in ones mouth in beast form. The grimblewolf just loves this game. He'll play down his excitement in front of others, though, to seem more cool.

WHAT IS A GIMBLEWOLF:
Gimblewolves are fearsome wolf like creatures from the Brave Story series. They can burrow under sand and drill their way up with their long drill like snouts and attack their pray. Usually these creatures attack in packs. They don't give up the fight usually until they have been killed or eat you.

HISTORY:

In a suburban neighborhood not too far from town was a little slanted house with a little gimblewolf family. There was a mother gimblewolf, papa gimblewolf and three boil children that lived in the little slanted house. The first born gimblewolf was far older than the other two boils. He left the little slanted house in search of adventure and never came back.

Of course there was the occasional letter back home but the eldest had found his dream and happiness. The little gimblewolf family in the little slanted house couldn’t have been happier for the first born son.

Years passed and time went on until the second born gimblewolf son felt it was time for him to seek out his own happiness. This gimblewolf son yearned to fall in love and live out his happiness in his own little slanted house with his own happy family. So one day the second son met a wonderful ghoul and the two ran off and got married. The second son did not leave for far away like the first but moved close by. The family couldn’t have been happier for their second born son.
But now only one gimblewolf son was left in the little slanted house with the little gimblewolf family. Unlike his brothers, this gimblewolf did not seek out his own happiness but rather brooded over how he could out do both his brothers and be the best. So at the tender age of seventeen this gimblewolf son slipped out of the little slanted house and signed himself up at Amityville Academy.

This gimblewolf son had no pure dream of happiness. This gimblewolf son just wanted to stand out amongst his brothers and prove his worth. Growing up as the youngest in the shadows of his brothers had given this gimblewolf son all the reason to want to stand out and all the reason to push himself that much harder.

His parents couldn’t be prouder.

Wataru - Wataru usually minds his own business and takes care of him self. Usually this kirinni can be found sleeping on his masters bed instead of being useful. Don't ever try to wake up Wataru if he is asleep though. He's got a nasty habit of biting when hes disturbed.

Lucid - Lucid is a mellow scareon and like Wataru usually minds his own business and takes care of him self. Usually. Neil finds that he needs to keep a closer eye on this scareon because when Lucid gets bored, he breaks things. Its not very often, but every once in a while. But usually he likes to cuddle with Wataru on Neils bed. Lucid doesn't sleep much.

Q: What would trigger Neil to loose his composure?
A: It could differ from time to time what makes him lose his composure. No ones always got an A game face and Neil is not an exception. Some days it might be easier to tick him off then others. But for the most part what would make him him 'lose' it:
- If a boil where to cling to him constantly and not leave him alone. He hates when ghouls do this but is more forgiving, but he REALLY hates it when boils do this even more.
- Boils that hit ghouls. He'd lose it then too.
- Having to be in a room for an extended period of time with a bunch of Charlie like bouncy characters.
This is just a small list but I hope it gives a better idea. He has patience but his patience can be worn down over time.

A: Neil doesn't talk in monotoned but when hes joking his voice doesn't change to help establish that he is. He could be talking normally and just pop something in there with no indication that he's joking.

Q: Does he find it hard to make friends seeing as he does tend to have a very pessimistic attitude?
A: Yes. I imagine friendship is harder for him then it should be. Thats not to say he has a hard time socializing. I don't imagine he does have a hard time striking up conversations with others, but as far as making friends, yes. I think its difficult for him.

Q:Why does he like to listen to sad ghouls? What causes him to melt around them? Considering he's blunt, has a pessimistic attitude, and doesn't really trust or care about others, why would he even tolerate being a crying ghoul who's problems he doesn't understand? A: TLDR: Boils he expects more of because he understands them. Ghouls he believes can break like glass and he doesn't want that to happen.
As far as sad ghouls I probably should add that in general he sees ghouls different then he sees boils. Ghouls are breakable to Neil and very different. He doesn't understand them but he sees them as needing protecting and fixing. Where as with boils, Neil was the youngest of three brothers and doesnt see them in the same light as he does with ghouls. In a way I suppose you could call Neil a little sexist with his out look. But not sexist in the way that ghouls are objects. Just sexist in the way that ghouls need to be protected. He didn't grow up with any sisters, and I imagine not many ghoul friends, so they are almost a strange other worldly concept to him that pulls on his heart strings.

Q: Why is Neil in school. What are his objectives? Focuses?
A: Mostly Neil just wants to out do his brothers and what better way to do that then attend school and better him self that way? He'd really like to expand his musical knowledge and physical I think. So he can be the god damn batman.

Q: Is he a fairly attentive student? Or does his stuck up cynical pessimism means he dismisses his homework as "not worth doing"?
A: I'd think he'd have a pretty good drive as a student if not to have another reason to feel a little better then others.

Q: How does he deal with big crowds and get-togethers?
A: He doesn't get scared off with them and will show up, depending on what kind of get together it is. He's not going to go to one of Charlies make believe tea parties willingly for example. As far as talking to people he'll talk no problem, its just he might not think much of who hes talking to.

Just some questions that make me wonder.

What would trigger Neil to loose his composure?
With his dry humor - does he also speak in a monotone? Is that why it's hard to tell?
Does he find it hard to make friends seeing as he does tend to have a very pessimistic attitude?

Why does he like to listen to sad ghouls? What causes him to melt around them? Considering he's blunt, has a pessimistic attitude, and doesn't really trust or care about others, why would he even tolerate being a crying ghoul who's problems he doesn't understand? Seems a lot of effort for someone who seems could care less? Why are they elevated to a level of importance?

Also, does his attack mean he is just spinning like a top at a person with his mouth open and he hits them with the open flaps of his sharp mouth? If so, hope that boil has a good dental plan. I would think putting your mouth on something dangerous would mean he could destroy his tongue or mouth, especially if he's spinning about that could cause things to snag and rip off. Is his mouth parts very durable and resistant to certain things like extreme heat or poisons? ((Just curious on this part))

Overall, I like his cool-guy attitude where he isn't being a jerk, but comes off as one due to his own indifference. He doesn't seem to hate people, and yet not be antisocial either. That helps to avoid the bad-boil stereotype a good bit. He's not exerting a lot of effort to impress others or force them away.

Also, he kinda reminds me of these things from Bravestory (a movie I love!).
