I'm contemplating getting a tank to try and up my gold gaining for the guild. Can anyone recommend the best fish to put in a tank when on a budget? (as in, all my gold goes to the guild xD) and how to keep them alive? D;

First, are you buying the fish with cash or gold? If it is gold, are you buying them from Phin Phang or the MP? In Phin Phang, I would advise purchasing a combination of some of the Mini-Monsters and Spikeys and Streamers. Remember that making a tank for Booty Grab not only gives you gold from Booty Grab, but the Overseer as you keep giving it attention and from the items in the drops the fish leave behind after they die. I would not advise buying anything from the MP since you would just be spending more gold than you would make back even with the Overseer and drops added in. If you are purchasing with cash, a combination of cheaper cash-only fish with a few higher-end fish would do the trick without breaking the bank too much. You can also combine cash and gold fish if you so wish.

All these questions are baffling me o.o I can't afford to buy with cash sad The fish that give out good gold, are they difficult to look after?

Not really. You just play with the settings in the tank until they show hearts when fed and then check on your tank as many days as possible and feed the fish.

yay! i wanna help! ok. i'm going to throw this out there. i know you said no cash, but it can be cheap to spend real money and get good fish.
A tank can hold up to 17 fish. Your best cash fish on the cheap are memphis and irrawaddy. For 12.75$ (USD) you can get 17 memphis or for 21.25$ (USD) you can get 17 irrawaddy. Both of those fish drop the colored coins which are worth more than plain coins and people like to play memphis and irrawaddy tanks.
For a good tank paid for with gold: lightning bugs, alpha grams, and walkers. you can purchase them in the MP or get them in the fourth strike pack in phin phang. they're cheap, they have glow rates of 7-15 fish, and they drop decent gold. you can get a full tank for 85k, and potentially make 350k in 3 weeks.
there's a lot of guides out there to let you know what settings to put your tank on, depending on which fishies you use. or you can tell me here and i can let you know ^^
a tank will glow about every 3-5 hours, and if you have the notice turned on, gaia will tell you when you'll glow. it's a good idea to set up a glow thread, so that can be bumped when glowing and let everyone know when you're glowing. then just sit back and let the gold flow in. i've had my tank for not even a week and i've made over 140k in gold just from people grabbing the booty.

Ooooo spiffy! I really can't afford cash at the moment though D; And I don't have enough gold yet, so I'll see what I can do and I'll let you know once I start getting some fish ^___^ If a few of us start getting good tanks, we can always start a booty grab thread in the guild for people to visit, hehe.

I have enough to start getting fish, but maybe I should wait until I get back from my holiday cos I might not be able to feed them xD How long of no feeding, will it take before fish die? Cos I'm going abroad for 11 days next month...
