 Shuuha chuckled as he watched his mate from afar. He couldn't have ever asked to find a more loving and courage female to call his own. And her family was a hoot, having a Daeva for a father and a cat for a mother, let's just say things never got boring around their house. Smiling happily he walked over to his mate and bumped against her hip, "Hiyo precious...what are you doing?"

 The creme colored vixen jumped when her mate bumped her, she had been so focused on this one spot for the last hour. she had finnally learned more about her mother excpet that she was si,ply an elder. Her father had supposedly actually been her mate,Opposed to what he argued before. that the 2 had only been friends. the last few weeks had been very eventful for her.
But now the rock was her main concern a once sharp rock lay in her paw as she started scratching a heart into it. this one would not be crossed u like the other 3 the one for Gimpi Chiyo an erik, the 3 foxes who ad broken her long ago. No this heart would survive It was for shuuha after all.
"Oh nothing Just working on something!"she laughed still etching into the stone boulder

"What are you working on?" He looked down at the rock and cocked his head to the side. He noted the hearts crossed out and didn't take long to figure out why. "Is that me?" he smiled at the only whole heart. He beamed with pride. He was the only one that had been good enough to Hiyo, the rest of them he didn't understand. Who in their right mind would turn down such a catch. The idea was loonisy."

Hiyo grinned."Nope thats the parrot...."she joked before staring at his face for a second, then begining to crack up."Of course its you goofball, Your my mate and this is my rock... Gimpi chiy and erik didnt care about me so they dont get me, its alright though one day they will all wish they had another chance, once I can get the shinku to start actually developing..." the shinku tribe was Hiyokos family lineage 8 generations before her had been elders for it and she was next. then one of her children would take over when she died eventually, or grandchild.

"That's right honey. They didn't deserve you. And I am glad they didn't because it left you open for me." Shuuha leaned in and licked her lovingly. "Mmm...your tribe..." He smiled. "I have been very interested in it....why don't you tell me a little about it?" He sat next to the rock and gave her his undivided attention.

Hiyo smiled."the shinku are an old tribe that has been around for centuries they beleived that Lady Tama was their one true guardian and was responsible for judgement from the time you first open your eyes to the time you die., anything bad that happens to you, by nature a shinku member will either say that Tama would let them be punished for it, or that you had done something to anger her and she was equaling out the world.
My mother was the last elder, Rinko...My father was her mate they had met when My dad ran away from a tribe comprised of entirely daeva's as a kit. they grew up together and then my grandpa died and Mom was forced to become the new elder. She was injured in battle when she was pregnant with me and my sister....and died giving birth to me." Hiyo then noticed tat she had veered off topic and went into her mothers life story."whoops sorry about that..."

Shuuha nuzzled her neck softly, "I am sorry about your mother Hiyo." He eyes were full of compassion for her loss. He knew what it was like to lose a parent, but he didn't know what it was like to have never met said parent. "It must have been hard for you. Growing up without ever knowing your mother." He curled against her, rubbing against her for comfort.

Hiyoko grinned." its no biggie.she's dead now.Nothings gonna bring her back. Besides it hurts more when your father can't look at you because you look like your mom." she winked. all strife she had regarding her father was long gone." if anyone deserves sympathy its him.she was his mate."she gave him a stern look. before shutting her eyes for a moment. I'm gonna have to go run some errands in a bit. So when I go don't worry I'll be back a bit later. they shouldn't take too long."

"Alright..." Shuuha smiled at her, "I am sure that i can find something to entertain me until you return." He chuckled as he looked around. He had the desire to explore the place and get his bearings. HE was going to be spending a lot of time here, so he should at least know where everything is.
"I will be here when you return love." He licked her cheek.

Hiyoko returned home later her eyes were wide open. what had happened was too shocking to her, her neck was wrapped in bandages and her body didnt want to move.".....why.....?" she asked the air around her. Aurum walked behind Hiyo his faces howed his disdain for the events that had occurred while they were out.He owed Shuuha and Apology he wasnt able to keep her safe.

Shuuha had been laying in the shade when he saw them approaching. He smiled happily and jumped up, rushing over to them. But once he got closer he could see that things were not right. "Hiyo!" He cried out concerned and quickly ran over to her, "What happened?" He looked at her injured body.

Hiyoko looked at shuuha and froze up her eyes growing wide as she began to back up her body trembling."don't.....please...I don't want to die..."
Aurum sighed when he looked at his daughter."a friend of hers attacked her... she's trying to make sense of it all... I'm sorry I wasn't able to help her."

"I wouldn't call anyone who did this a friend." Shuuha glared at the wounds then looked at Hiyo sadly. She was frightened, and he knew rationally that she wasn't frightened of him, but it still hurt for her to recoil from him. He felt the slap of rejection as if he had truly been hit. "Tell me the name of the attacker." The blue male looked up at the much larger Daeva.

"Gimpi?" He looked at her father puzzled, "The phim that she was in love with? Why in the world did he attack her?" Shuuha had never been more angry in his life, but the fact that someone had injured his sweet Hiyo was enough to infuriate him beyond words.
